Listen - I'm usually not impressed with Yakisoba - but this place was astonishingly good! My husband opened up a Disc Golf shop at the course down the street, and I'm usually only there on Sundays. All the locals who have been here for a long time have raved about the place. They did mention, throughout the exchanges of ownerships, there's been ebbs and flows of how things went. With the new management, they're now open on Sundays, and I finally got to try this place out! The lovely woman who greets you and takes your order is the absolutely cutest thing! She's so joyful and sweet. I absolutely love her. My husband got the Chicken Stir Fry, and he was didn't set his expectations too high, but he was blown away. 9/10 was his rating. I also was thinking it was going to be your typical Beef Yakisoba, but I did ask her to make it Spicy for me, and she said I can pick on a scale of 1 to 5, so I picked 4. It was Good!!! 9 out of 10 for me also! We are definitely making this our usual Teriyaki joint since our ProShop less than half a mile away. read more

NEVER TIP until AFTER the meal. Gave a $3.00 tip on a $20.00 meal. Go back up to the counter, ask for a package of Hot Sauce (not extra package A package) and she charged us .38 cent. Given this place is conveniently located in the same shopping strip as Albertsons, it's a once in a while destination to pick up some teriyaki eats. We tend to order gyoza, short ribs, and beef teriyaki and while the food is always somewhat decent, it's really not that great compared to superior teriyaki joints in the neighborhood. The gyoza they deep fry, always is a little bland (not sure if they only use vegetable filled dumplings. The beef teriyaki is cut somewhat carelessly (resulting in chunks that are way chewier than the other), and the short ribs half the time have a lot of pieces that are borderline burnt. Prices are pretty competitive, I might even say a few dollars cheaper than some of the other, tastier joints. It's kind of a sacrifice you make to have food that is decent but definitely not stellar. My friends introduced me to Kin Ja Teriyaki, I've only ever tried their Chicken Katsu and it is absolutely delicious. My only experience with Chicken Katsu before Kin Ja, was revolting. I have FAITH again lol. Their Chicken Katsu is perfectly breaded, and NOT OILY. It is piping hot and fresh. The meal comes with two scoops of white rice, and tons of Chicken Katsu with a delicious sauce. The interior is clean and modest. The restaurant seats about 20 people or more, it gets hot in the restaurant but they have a fan blowing. I've only ever ordered takeout so I can't say how the service is when dining in, but they seem to get the food out pretty quickly. One day I'll try the rest of their menu options. We tried this place last night for dinner ordering takeout. First of all they had the order screwed up when we went to pick up the food we paid for. The woman argued that it was a door dash delivery we ordered. My wife called in the order in right next to me. She told them on the phone what we wanted. I used to come here all the time, until recently. Last week, a friend and I decided to order food. The lady who answered the phone was extremely rude to us. We had requested to add tofu to our chicken yakisoba. She told us that that was too difficult! So we asked if we could just order some fried tofu on the side. She said that we were going to have to call her back because someone was calling her and hung up on us. It felt like she was angry at us for calling to order food. Tonight my husband and I decided to give them another try. We had had way more good experiences than that one bad one. Maybe the person was having a bad day. Have been there on two different occassions the first time was with my sister for a quick lunch. Ordered the kalbi dish and found a hair in my food in which I was refunded for the meal. Left it at that and told myself never again. I decided to visit there again a few months later since my son liked their fried rice so much and it was his choice for dinner that night. I was a little sketchy but decided to give it a try again under the hopes that the experience this time around would be better. WRONG! I regretted it because once again...I found a hair in my food and I ordered the same thing from the first time. I was thoroughly disgusted and was refunded for both our meals and we left. Granted I live right down the street from the restaurant I will go out of my way to go to another teriyaki restaurant. Their food is a little overpriced compared to other Teriyaki places and their servings are small for the amount you pay.
