Service is ok. Restaurant is nice, good vibe and good music…read more Food is tasty and for most items good quality. -Sweet potato fries are ok.. -The brisket quesadilla is amazing!!! Definitely recommend. -Chicken tenders are also of good quality. -Burnt ends are good. -Hush puppies were just ok. Now the bad..... I like eating here, but the bad most of the time keeps me from eating here more... - the parking. It is painful to try and get a spot. I've seen fights almost break out. I can't express enough how bad the parking is

Good place, especially given the area…read more For downtown Dallas, GA, it's an up-class Americana place: the menu is burgers, fries, salads, sandwiches, tacos, etc. The food is well done. They have numerous gluten-free options, and they're careful and particular about not mixing gluten-free and gluten foods. Grateful for their particular care. Portion size is fairly large; we ate there for a late lunch, and I didn't eat the rest of the day. I recommend the Frisco burger; it was delicious, good-sized. Sweet potato fries were great, too. Service is gracious and kind; our server was very on top of keeping our drinks filled, answering questions, and doing it all with a kind attitude. Atmosphere is cool, overall. The building itself clearly used to be some kind of workshop or garage or something, and they've kept enough of that old style and mixed it with a hefty overhaul featuring light, wood, and black trim. The dining room is one big box room lined with booths on one side, a bar on the other, and tables in between. Can be a bit loud, but normal for a restaurant. We went at 2 in the afternoon, and it was still half full, so I imagine you'll expect to wait if you come at peak times. Sign of something good going on here, right? Kids get a menu with a maze and a drawing their can color; they get a three-pack of crayons. Nice touch. Bathrooms are two single-seaters for the whole restaurant, so you might need to wait a moment if you have to go. I didn't see any baby-changing stations, but there is room on the bathroom counter. Prices are a bit high but fair. With a non-alcoholic drink, you're looking at about $20/person before tip. It was the two of us and a child, and our bill was $55 plus tip. All in all a good deal, especially for Downtown Dallas, which could use some upscaling. Worth supporting this business if you like good food, want to help local Dallas, and just generally want an enjoyable time. I wasn't blown away, but I was impressed and pleased. Will probably frequent again. Menu has just the right mix of things you want to try and regular things you'll want to stick to. They do have specials that rotate in and out.
