Food was good! It comes out nice and hot. It was a one woman show when I went. She does it all-cook, serve, take orders on the phone and it didn't take a long time either. They offer seafood and traditional Jamaican food items and beverages. You can eat in, or take out. Stewed chicken, jerk chicken and curry chicken was amazing. You can do half and half food platters as well. That's if you want to try two of the signature dishes. All orders come with peas and rice, cabbage, and Mac and cheese. So much food. We were craving Jamaican food and for some odd reason, there weren't many restaurants open on a Sunday. I wanted jerk chicken and they didn't have any, so we both ordered the oxtails to go. It was weird because the menu just said oxtails but nothing about side items. I asked the lady if it came with sides and she said yes but didn't elaborate. Lol, I just came to the conclusion that I was going to be surprised. When we got our food, we learned that the oxtails came on top of rice, with cabbage and Mac & cheese as the sides. The environment was great although with the covid-19 they still were nice. I can see were some people might think they have a attitude but they do not. It's the language barrier that may come across like it!! I did have to wait more than 30 min for my food. But the food was amazing. First time trying blue crab and can say I will never try it again they did clean it out etc. It just wasn't for me. But everything else was amazing. RIDICULOUS! This place has let me down two times! I tried to let the first time slide because it was the Grand Opening day but seriously this place needs better communication. First time, we called and placed the order but when we got there 25 minutes later they had not even started the order. They tell me after I realize that I was standing there for 10 minutes that they don't start your order till you are physically present even after you tell them on the phone. The ladies that work there are too RUDE! Food was alright. A young man, who I believe is the owner care to the front and he was very kind and respectful with me as well. His SWEETNESS made everything better. Second time different staff but still a lack of communication. Just had an over the top snow crab and shrimp lunch at One Love! The Snow Crab was sweet and tender. There was a good sized piece of sausage, boiled potato, corn on the cob, and a hard boiled egg. It was all swimming in a finger licking good, nicely seasoned, buttery sauce that dripped down my arms. I almost squealed with delight since I'd been driving up to Vero beach for a similar dish! I'm glad I found someplace closer to home to get my "crab fix". I was hesitant to try it because some of the reviews were not complimentary but the complaints have never been about the food. They were about having to wait. You have to wait for the preparation of good seafood. You can't be impatient when you are going to a small place with excellent food.
