Food was good! It comes out nice and hot. It was a one woman show when I went. She does it all-cook, serve, take orders on the phone and it didn't take a long time either. They offer seafood and traditional Jamaican food items and beverages. You can eat in, or take out. Stewed chicken, jerk chicken and curry chicken was amazing. You can do half and half food platters as well. That's if you want to try two of the signature dishes. All orders come with peas and rice, cabbage, and Mac and cheese. So much food. Platters are around $20+. Definitely recommend!

We were craving Jamaican food and for some odd reason, there weren't many restaurants open on a Sunday. I wanted jerk chicken and they didn't have any, so we both ordered the oxtails to go. It was weird because the menu just said oxtails but nothing about side items. I asked the lady if it came with sides and she said yes but didn't elaborate. Lol, I just came to the conclusion that I was going to be surprised. When we got our food, we learned that the oxtails came on top of rice, with cabbage and Mac & cheese as the sides. The oxtails were very tender and had good flavor (although I would have liked a tad more seasoning). The rice was as one would expect from a Jamaican restaurant (very good). I also liked the cabbage but could have done without the Mac & cheese.

We were looking for a good seafood lunch spot where we could talk, and what we found was a great seafood lunch spot where we made acquaintances. Easy to get to/from just off I-95, I highly recommend stopping to enjoy this small, family-run restaurant with delicious seafood and soup.

The environment was great although with the covid-19 they still were nice. I can see were some people might think they have a attitude but they do not. It's the language barrier that may come across like it!! I did have to wait more than 30 min for my food. But the food was amazing. First time trying blue crab and can say I will never try it again they did clean it out etc. It just wasn't for me. But everything else was amazing. Mega platter is not enough for 5 people you might want to add at least 3 extra clusters to it to be enough. I feel like it is a bit over priced but amazing seasoning.

Dang it, I forgot server's name, but he's served me before. Polite, professional and very knowledgeable about every aspect of the menu! Love him!! Ordered a white wine Sangria. Meh. It was only fair. And maybe just a tad beneath fair. Never have I had one with so much juice in it! I have to wonder if the juice was used to replace the fruit usually in their Sangria. With this parasite causing explosive diarrhea, perhaps that's why the juice. Didn't like it. Didn't taste any wine. We shared a whole chicken with fries and veggies. Plenty of food for two and with leftovers too. It took a bit long, but maybe it takes a while to grill a chicken. Service was good and attentive. We also shared the chocolate mousse which was divine. I found the desserts to be pricey in comparison to the entrees. The area is fairly new so everything looks new and clean. Plenty of parking. All in all, I'll be back as the Cod Lagareiro I saw served looked amazing and I'll have to try that next.

Decided to stop in for tuna stack and guacamole (that we've previously enjoyed on prior occasions). Seemed odd that on a Thursday evening at 6pm the hostess asked if we had reservations. That should have tipped us off that things were different. The bar was full and the very loud. Our server didn't know what fish was on the special for the evening. We weren't enticed, so we went with our original order. Then the disappointment set in; the tuna stack was literally have the size of the ones we've had there. The mango salsa layer wasn't salsa it was bland chopped mango. The bottom layer of guac was about an inch and the chop tuna was light pink to white (at best). Needless to say the "shareable" lasted about three bites each for two people. Regretfully, we ordered the guacamole that was also disappointing. The portion was smaller than before and lacked flavor (seasoning). A few nuggets of corn topper and no cheese (as described on the menu). That "shareable" comes with a salsa that was the coup de grâce of disappointment; it was runny and lacked any semblance of chopped vegetables. It literally tasted like spaghetti sauce and not the good type. We pulled up our Yelp review from last year and sure enough the portions are not even close in terms of size or presentation. We showed the server our pics from last year's Yelp post and she said that she's never had that order. She gave the chef our feedback. Later on she came back and said the chef acknowledged the "salsa" consistency. He offered to make a fresh batch... our plates were gone by that time and we weren't about to take that offer. The grand finale ended with the check being delivered and our server telling us "an automatic 18% service fee is added to the check"... my wife and I looked at each other with utter disgust. We wasted $47 on two awful shareables and one unsweetened tea. It's sad to see yet another restaurant go down the drain so quickly. It seems like PSC went under new management and lost their kitchen and serving staff. Uploading a new pic of the "soupy salsa" to compare with what we previously had

Instead, they were overcooked and tough, a workout disguised as a meal. The breading, however, was outstanding - crispy, seasoned, and full of potential. If the chicken hadn't been cooked into submission, this could've been a winner. The carrot cake was the redemption story. Moist, perfectly spiced, and absolutely delicious. I'd go back just for that slice - again and again! Hush puppies were delicious - no regrets there. The mac and cheese tasted like something called "just baked" and lived up to its name--basic, inoffensive, and instantly forgettable. The potato salad had a strange reddish hue--maybe paprika, maybe mystery--and while edible, it won't see a second order from me. The coleslaw started strong but fell apart overnight; by day two it looked like it had seen some things. And that's the common thread here: nothing held up as leftovers. The chicken was too dry to resurrect, the mac separated into an oily mess, and the slaw gave up on life entirely. The carrot cake, though? Still perfect the next day. Final verdict: inconsistent execution, one stellar dessert, and a kitchen that could use a gentler hand on the fryer. Rating: 2.5/5.
