The last time I came here, there was only one teller and no one bothered to help her even though there were a few customers in line who've been waiting for about 15-20 minutes. I'm sure that the branch manager can do a teller's job just fine, when there's not enough people working, especially since I was told that the other teller called in sick. As a manager, it's his/her job to ensure that all customers are taken care of in a timely manner. Whether he/she has to step it up and do the teller's job for the day when needed, or call in another person to help out. When there are three people sitting at their desks and only one teller working, it kind of makes a person wonder what our fees are paying for.

There was 4 people waiting in line, 5 bank employees, and only one person working. Eventually, another woman offered to help but with very limited assistance. It's pretty aggravating to see so many bank employees behind the counter, and nobody offering to help. Eventually, after we waited for almost 20 minutes, one person, I think the manager, offered to help. She was very helpful and sweet. But it was very aggravating to wait that long to get assistance from somebody. Definitely not a great experience. More grateful, now than ever, that K don't have to visit this branch often.

Today, we are going on an hour and counting. That's THREE+ HOURS to give them money they'll accrue interest on. Sadly, I overheard another patron who had all of their business and personal accounts locked up online. Wells was unable to unfreeze the account so turned him away without access his own funds. O.M.G.! What a shame. Twenty years ago, WF was a respected financial institution. Today, they should be avoided when other options exist.

I have asked twice at this branch for a customer service manager to call me back to straighten out some customer service issues and I still haven't been called back several months later. The checks and debit card that I ordered in February never arrived. It's difficult for me to use my account without either but if they don't want me to use my account, they sure are succeeding.

Details: after I paid the $400 application fee they wanted me to put in a heater in my house which they should've brought up prior to taking my money. It's understandable that they'd want a heater put in but they insisted that I get a permit to do it. I gave them 3 choices: - allow me to do the heater without permits (since I was concerned about the inspector calling out other issues), - refund my $400 or - apply the $400 to a new loan application. They stubbornly refused all three. It was unprofessional of them that they did not make sure there were going to be any issues like this prior to spending my $400 IMO yet they refused to take any responsibility for their actions. I should also add that Bank of the West has dicked me around 2 years ago as well: after paying and applying for a loan they jacked up the closing costs by another $1200 and didn't tell me until the day of signing!

There was no option for $50s (I needed 4 $50s), and took the cash I had pulled out to the teller. The teller informs me that the max she can exchange is $100. At first I think she is joking because it is so ridiculous, so then I recap that I literally just pulled cash out of Chase's ATM, and walked 3 steps to her. There are no other customers in the bank, so she was able to witness this whole scenario. She tells me to put my card into her card feeder and request more cash. I tell her no, I don't want more cash, nor do I want to incur another ATM fee as I did not use a Chase card. She then proceeds to say she can only help me if I have a Chase credit card. I inform her that we have a mortgage with Chase, but its under my husband's name; however we have the same last name. Another employee comes over, and I thought this person would be more reasonable, but no - says they won't help. Absolutely ridiculous!

I got a letter from them saying that they had signed me up for Identity Theft Protection product that I never signed up for - got two letters so they signed me up for this twice and they are going to reimburse me for the costs of this. I was supposed to receive the payments in January 2024 but have not yet and when I call to follow up the payments are still pending. So they cannot even make restitution in a timely manner. I am glad I switched from this bank. I am usually a very low key customer and had banked with them for years but this signing people up for products that they do not want is totally unethical and a really poor business practice. It is dishonest. About this branch though - I alway got good service here and the people are really nice so I will add stars for that. The tellers here are really nice. I am adding a star for the people who work in this branch.
