I can't say enough great things about Chris Greene and his assistant Abby. They're a fantastic team. I have very thick, curly hair that I have been relaxing since I was 11. Had a consult at 11am. The receptionists told me to sit and wait. At 11:35 I go back to the receptionists and they actually never checked me in...no consideration for someone else's time. Finally got the consult at 11:40 with not enough time because I had a flight to catch. Completely ruined my hair to the point where it will never be as strong as it once was. But you know the most disappointing part of this place was, Liz was incredibly mean to me...but because some people like her work, the managers and owners won't do anything about it. I'm sure she's very talented, but on the day I was booked for $500, she was so busy that her assistant did most of the work. When I complained about it, she was incredibly rude to me. Almost nasty? I have never paid so much money, only to be made so uncomfortable. Her demeanor (if she's in a bad mood) is so off putting, I will never go there again nor will I ever recommend that place. It's funny, so many people I have spoken about how Meche is just a name, but the quality isn't entirely there. What you're missing Meche, is quality customer service. I can get a good highlight or haircut at a lot of places, I live in Los Angeles. But what I can't get everywhere, is quality service, where the staff CARES. They make too much money to really care here. It's disappointing. Liz, you were a mean person to me, and you made me uncomfortable in your work environment. You'd probably laugh this review off, but it's sad that you would be mean to a 23 year old girl. Who's never complained at a salon in her life. Best of luck lady. I just moved from Christophe Salon over to Meche with Rich Ohnmacht. I really liked the salon. It's hip but not pretentious. They have amazing talent over there and honestly, it was an all around good experience. My color is amazing as usual. Rich is really and I've said this before, a true talent. He does exceptional and I mean exceptional color. Peter Ishkhans did my blow out and I watched him do a few cuts while over there. He's also extremely talented, amazing attitude, both easy to talk to, handsome and well...just makes for an overall great experience. I'll be returning as long as they are both there. I really don't want to write this review because I'm selfish but Liz Jung is my everything. She is the ultimate blonde queen, genius, maestro, etc. I've been seeing her for over 6 years and she never disappoints. Before Liz, I didn't think it was possible to achieve the blonde I wanted. I'm Asian and have jet black dark hair that is not easy to lighten but she's a miracle worker. Everyone always compliments me on my hair and it's never brassy. Another amazing thing is that when it grows it, it always looks natural and the color stays. She's also so good to her clients and always makes sure we get what we want. But she's also good to our hair and will always make sure it's healthy even when going blonde. If after a visit, I want to go even lighter, she is always willing to accommodate me and make sure she makes herself available even if that means she's staying late or working overtime. A true gem. There's no one like her! I love her dearly and she takes good care of me and my hair! If you want to get your hair colored, there is no one else in LA that can do what she does. read more

Tania is an amazing colorist! She did all I asked for and more. She listened to what I wanted but still did what she thought would look best with my skin tone. I wanted to bring my black inky hair back to my natural color brown. She kept my hair healthy during the whole process and educated me as we went along. I pledge my undying devotion to Chris Greene!! I found myself here after two colorists botched my hair and another was impossible to book (weird email practice... whatever). I saw an actress's post on Instagram tagging Chris, so I looked at his posts. His work was exactly what I had been looking for, so I booked! I walked in with jacked up color and walked out looking fabulous! A year later, and my hair is the best it's ever been. Chris and the Meche team take such good care of me, and besides being an amazing talent, Chris is one of the nicest people on the planet. I have been to many top stylists and salons on both east coast and west coast. I couldn't get in with Tracey Cunningham a s I was told she wasn't taking new clients (even though she's colored my hair and Byron and Tracey when she was there). So they gave me Rich, the colorist and Frankie, the stylist (total $650). I thought Rich and I were both on the same page that we would have soft rich brown highlights instead of golden or caramel on my black hair. I have scheduled a subsequent appt at the salon for more toner / glossing because the salon was so slammed that there was a waiting line for the shampoo bowls. Which is why my hair looks partially toned and fried. Frankie did a horrible job as there are uneven layers and my hair looks like a "SHOB" - a shag lob. No, it looks more like a reverse mullet. I caught him straight cutting my ends midway through cutting layers in my hair since he was too busy talking to someone else. I scheduled an appointment this Friday to have my hair cut by Suzanne Shin at Shin Salon because I'm too scared for Frankie to touch my hair any further. I won't go back. read more

I have been seen a client of Tania Pulver's for about 6 years now. When she moved to Meche salon it was a no brainer for me to move with her, i was going wherever she went! I have gone gray at quite a young age and Tania has been amazing at keeping my hair color looking natural and fresh. I have more compliments about the color of my hair than i could count and the color always last really well. Tania is always looking for ways to improve on what she already does so well and is great company when you are sitting in the chair. The added bonus in all this is now i get to see Tania at Meche, which is seriously one of the best Salons i have ever been too. Visited from Australia, I searched a lot of hair salons in Beverly Hills to get the best stylist and found Jesse. I was very excited to meet him as his clients include famous celebrities and I also saw great reviews here. OMG! I was very glad I found Jesse. He was awesome! Not only he has great techniques, but also he made such an effort to make sure the hair cut would suit my face. I started receiving compliments from beautiful customers in the salon before finishing. A Sylist did a poor job on my base color that washed out after one wash. I called for a redo and they gladly gave me an appt. and then tried to charge me again for the service and when I disputed the charge, they accused me of trying to get away with a free service. This is only one week after the original date of service. I won't be going back and advise to beware, their policy is that if you have an inadequate colorist that does a poor job, they are unwilling to correct the problem. read more

Went to Tracey Cunningham who was highly referred by a friend. After 1/2 hour late and several hours at the salon and a gauntlet of different people processing my hair, the color was anything but great. Tracey did not even bother to see me after the process was done and check out the work of her assistants. I called the salon the next day to speak with her, so we could discuss how to rectify my hair and I am still waiting for a phone cal several days laterl.
