This is my second visit to med box. Every single item is delicious! The hummus is house made and served with yummy pita bread. The fries are also so good with amazing aioli-type sauce. Ordered takeout and part of me wishes I had eaten there. The vibe was cozy and clean. Even after the 13 minute drive home the food was still warm and delicious. This is a bold statement but the Turkish rice is the best rice I have ever had, and I have had rice on 2 continents across multiple nations and states. Service: This is a simple order at the register and they deliver the food to you system. Very low key but prompt with very personable interactions. They treat you like family. The owner/manager makes rounds to tables to ensure everyone is happy and taken care of. If there is an issue they make it right with no excuses. Ambiance: this is very cute place with great decor. This place has everything! Plenty of indoor seating, a bar, outdoor patio area, and a food truck. We were just a little confused when coming in whether there was table service or not, so make sure you order at the end of the bar and then sit down. They will give you a table number. We got the same thing (The Feast for 2 and the Habanero cilantro hummus) and used this as a "Was last time a fluke" review. To be expected, it was just as great this time. Dang..I love Mediterranean food and I really wanted to love this place. My falafels tasted a bit too bland and they were gritty, like sand was in them or something. The Greek Salad had dressing that seemed to be just oil...not at all my bag. I know it's Minnesota winter but the cucumbers and tomatoes were utterly tasteless. The Turkish coffee delicious but it was only two small sips then mud. Another diner at my table had same issue. We asked if we could have some hot water just to mix it up ourselves and try to get an actual shot of it, they said they'd make us new ones and never did. Oh well. Maybe we caught them on an off day. Yes yes yes! If you are looking for a great Mediterranean spot, this is jt. It is casual inside but has touches of fun Turkish culture. Service is friendly and quick. I got the gyro bowl and my partner got the gyro plate. Wow do you get plenty of food and I am not complaining! It is so flavorful and savory, and makes great leftovers the next day too. One of my top food trucks. These guys show up at my workplace in Eden Prairie a couple of times a month, and I try not to miss them. Their quality is great, they're super-speedy making your food, and quantities are HUGE for the price. Today I ordered the döner kebab in a wrap - spicy! These things are 'bout as big as your head. I don't tend to shy away from a big meal - though I should - but this is really more than I can comfortably eat in a single sitting (not that this stops me...). I always get some extra spicy sauce to throw on there. The wrap is crisp and crunchy and heavy and chock-full of döner goodness and a foot-long and messy and wonderful!
