    Swarmbaa with side of hummus
    Phil P.

Busy supper rush. Super noisy waiting to order and hard to hear counter staff and hard for them to hear us when ordering. Got a table in back that was quieter and allowed for easy conversation. Excited to try the gluten free pita option for swarma. Very good flavor of both beef and wrap. They did not cut my wrap in half. Given the size of the wrap and the moistness of the meat, the wrap came undone and was very messy to eat. Will request it to be cut next time (like our other one was by default). Since I'm gluten free we ordered veggie side so I could enjoy the hummus as well. The veggies were fresh and the hummus was creamy and had great flavor. I was disappointed at the price of the veggies as they more than doubled the cost of the side with pita.

I dislike the order at the counter idea for a couple reasons. One feeling pressured to decide on your order quickly and two, the tipping in advance. The inside is tastefully furnished and has a full bar with seating. The large hummus plate is huge but delicious. We also had the half order of lentil soup and mushroom soup. Both very good but very salty. The service was very minimally needed and yet we pre-tipped 20%. The employees were pleasant and the other plates coming out were massive (but looked amazing) so beware when ordering.

One of the bummers of moving back to Oklahoma was missing all the great food California had to offer. I absolutely love fresh Mediterranean food (especially Lebanese) and the best you can find in Norman is a gyro place that serves either gyro meat in a pita with fries or a plate with gyro meat and fries. I'm not kidding. Imagine my relief when I come here and there is a full menu of delightful dishes such Schwarma and rice and salads. The staff was warm and welcoming and the place itself is very modern and clean. I was surprised to see it even has a full bar.

Like a Mediterranean type Panera- order at the counter and seat yourself. They had the best tomato soup I've ever had- so creamy and rich. The ShawarmBaa was so flavorful and had a good portion of meat. It was very crowded on a Friday night. They do have outdoor seating with heat lamps but even then, it was a bit cold mid November. Definitely recommend

Meddys is beautiful inside and out, with great service and absolutely delicious food, making it one of the best spots in Moore! You order at the counter, and they bring your food to the table, starting with fresh pita and olive oil. We ordered a chicken shawarma with garlicky potatoes (get the potatoes!) and the aptly named Heavenly Hummus bowl. The adult beverages and desserts looked great, too - we'll be back!

Great and fun place to have a meal! The ambiance is warm and full of color. The food matches your surroundings, I have not had authentic Mediterranean food before like this and it won me over. The servers keep walking around and checking tables, so they are responsive and quick. I plan to be back and try other food options they have.

What can I not say about this wonderful restaurant... food is always 5 star and very very allergy friendly with a knowledgeable staff. Garlicky chicken is divine!

Excellent atmosphere, great Mediterranean food choices. We sat inside because it was windy & cold outside but the outdoor seating looked very nice. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma with a side of tabbouleh salad & my hubs ordered the Fancy Falafels with tabbouleh also. The servings were large, we should have shared a plate. Everything was great. We did order sodas and they were not great but our server brought us waters (just because--I never mentioned the sodas but also declined a refill) after our meal which I thought was exceptional service.

Big bowl w/ chicken. Heaped hummus with pita and chips. And lastly chicken shawarma with garlic potatoes.

I do however definitely know, that I will actually make an in-person visit when able. This was ordered from GrubHub. I can only really speak on my order, I don't know how the other food is, but I'll tell you I'm definitely going to find out. They packaged my meat separate from my salad, so I didn't have limp wilted lettuce. Another key to detail! I ordered a spicy gyro salad. I've had Mediterranean all over the country, and I've never had spicy gyro. I don't know what the sauce is they use but it is phenomenal. My salad itself was huge, and they gave me a ridiculous amount of gyro meat! I mean a TON. They also doubled up on the pita bread, even though I'm not a carb eater, I had to go ahead and knock all that out too hahaha. They paid attention to my request for utensils, which was nice. A lot of places don't. They gave me extra of that hot sauce, plenty of Tzatziki sauce, I just wish I would have been able to ask them for extra salad dressing. It's probably enough for the normal bloke, but I like my salad like soup hahaha. I wasn't in love with the salad dressing, but it was good. I wasn't even able to eat everything I ordered. So I have a nice little snack in a couple hours! I know GrubHub gouges you, so my order was a bit expensive, but dining in, you're definitely getting your money's worth, and then some. I can't wait to go in person and actually have a sit-down meal at this place. ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. I came in and it took a few minutes before someone cane out of their very closed-off kitchen to receive my order. The gentleman did get my order and ensured himself and me that he heard my order correctly...I appreciated that! I ordered three gyros, one without the sauce and another just meat and bread with the third gyro being a full gyro without any special instructions. I also order the kafta, and I am so glad I did! There were several people that came in after me. They all went to the counter and waited without anyone coming out to take their order. Most left as they were all enclosed behind the wooden room divider. This divider certainly did divide the staff and their customers. One could not see into the kitchen at all nor a staff member to see their customers. It was a very strange set-up. When a customer comes into a restaurant, they usually are able to see someone there, but not here. The divider goes from the floor to the ceiling. It is a shame, truly. The dining room held a few tables and chairs. Everything was very clean. No complaints there. I soon received my food and went home. All the gyro sauces are kept in tiny plastic to-go cups. Most of the tops had popped off, during my ride home, leaving most of the sauce covering the inside of the bag, making quite a mess and leaving us with very little sauce. Unloading the sack, very gingerly due to this sauce, I found our order was complete and perfectly executing per my instructions. That is a great feat in itself! I was so happy that I didn't have to call asking for a forgotten gyro or one that was not made properly. We all sat down to eat our gyros and all were going to sample the kafta. The kafta was so very good. It was still hot and juicy! The spices and the meat just made our mouths so happy. We all loved it! The gyros though, were a sad experience for all of us. The gyro kept was mostly VERY dry with some meat being actually crispy and way too dried out! The gyro bread was very dry as well. None of us were able to finish our gyros. The hungriest of us had three bites out of his. We really tried but the sauce did not even make it right as the sauce failed to cover-up that dryness! The owner is most welcome to say his piece as is evident they excercise their right with most of the reviews that are short of singing their praises. But I think that if these reviews are read by them in a way that they were open to constructive criticism, and used that energy in a positive way to figure out what they need to do to protect the meat and bread from drying out as they do the kafta, both the customers and they would help winners. I want to come back soon and try them again with much hope that they have found a way to keep the meat and bread from drying out. If so, my mouth will sing the staff and gyro their praises! I would then be a very happy and consistent customer of LoQm'e! Blessings to you all.
