Wonderful and lovely hotel in the lower Queen Anne neighborhood in Seattle, WA. Conveniently near the space needle and other parks and artsy stuff to see. Also not too far of a drive to pike place market and the piers. There is also a Safeway right across the street, as well as some restaurants and coffee shops (Starbucks is right next door). Price was reasonable and found it on Expedia; the hotel is super clean, simple but homey. Hotel staff was nice. Parking is limited (and very compact if not there in time). We paid for onsite parking which still beat out on street parking. The rooftop view was amazing and great and worth the stay. We had drinks up there at night (byob) and coffee in the am (byoc). Comfortable bedding affordable parking courteous and helpful front desk beautiful roof top view great location extra amenities that I needed and they had- fridge, microwave, ice and laundry. Mediterranean Inn, was my mid week pit stop for our road trip. I was able to get a load of laundry done and warm up left overs as well as refrigerate the rest of my water bottles to keep cool in my cooler. This made me a happy mom. The room was clean, it was quiet at night, they had ac which kept us cool since it was pretty warm. The lobby is comfy and clean and so are the bathrooms downstairs, they have a nice and basic exercise room as well. The check in was easy and really I couldn't ask for anything more. read more

So I would like to start with positives; Great location, beautiful view from terrace rooftop. Here's the thing this hotel is pretty much like a Quality Inn with breakfast, pool or any extras unless you want to hop on a bike. So with that being said they charge 350.00 plus a night and there was a cockroach in my shower!! It ran right past my toes into the drain. I tried to complain to mgmt but since it was a Saturday they weren't available. I was provided an email address which I promptly sent out to, "Sheila" and No response. There's always complimentary Lemon water & coffee in the lobby and an attached Starbucks as well. Everything's extremely neat and clean. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash & bar soaps are included in the bathrooms You're about a 6 min walk to the space needle (0.8 miles) and a 30 minute walk to pike place market (1.4 miles) They also have umbrellas for you to borrow, ask the front desk. read more

The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is that this hotel is old. LOCATION (5 Stars) It's a short walk away from Seattle Center, where the Space Needle is. There are several restaurants, pharmacies, and grocery stores within a couple blocks. AMENITIES (5 Stars) When you are in your room, you probably feel like you're staying at motel. With that said, their shared amenities are unexpected and impressive. They have a good business center and even a fitness center, which you would not usually find at a motel. Free coffee and water in the lobby (but stay away from the coffee). There's a Starbuck attached, which is directly accessible from the lobby. ROOFTOP TERRACE (5 Stars) I was expecting the rooftop terrace to be a bigger, but the 360 view from the terrace was amazing, nonetheless. You see the Space Needle right in front of your eyes. You can also see Mt Rainer in the distance. The only downside is that there's no food or drink service. All you can do is to lounge there. PARKING (4 Stars) They have a secure underground garage (with a gate at the entrance). It was about $19 per night with in-and-out privilege, which is not bad for Seattle. HOTEL BUILDING (2 Stars) It's very clean and well maintained, but it's OOOOLD. The guest rooms are particularly dated. I booked this place simply for the rooftop and to catch a view of the city. It rained the majority of my visit so I just ran up there to take a shot before I left. My room had a joining door where you could here people next door. My neighbor snored.....terribly, Lolol! I liked that it had onsight & secured parking since I heard that Seattle has a bad rep for stealing cars and break ins. What I didn't like was having to pay $27.00 per day for parking and additional City tax. Maybe the cost of parking should be just a little lowered since the average guest is visiting and will spend more time away from the hotel than in the room. The city tax I felt was unnecessary. But I don't understand the politics behind that stuff, I just know that This made the cost of the hotel extremely overpriced. However, it was cleaned! And convenient location to walking the city, and the check in counter reps were friendly and efficient. read more

Fantastic stay at Mediterranean Inn in Seattle. Perfect location for walking to all the sites and restaurants. Nice, spotlessly clean rooms with kitchenette for light meals or snacks, fabulous rooftop deck to hang out at and enjoy the views, and the best staff and housekeeping anywhere. Staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and welcomed. This is our new home away from home for Seattle. Very LGBTQI-welcoming which is important for us, too! Just book it. Good price too for the area. By the way, we stayed in room 529, and you can see seagulls nesting on the rooftop across from the room if you go soon. We stayed here for the Janes Addiction concert recently. The room was small but clean and we were able get early check in which was nice. Proximity to the concert as well as all the great restaurants close by made all the difference. Fairly expensive though but not surprising on an event night. No other dining options on site. Parking is not free and should be given prices of the rooms. But is gated and secured under the inn. Lovely place. We truly enjoyed our stay and were grateful that they allowed us to check in an hour earlier than expected. The room was nice and cool when we walked in which I love and gets so cold fast! It made sleeping very pleasant and although it takes a while for the room to heat back up, it was still very nice. The only downside I would say is that our bathroom door wouldn't close all the way, it was like the door was broken? The handle was just weird and it never would turn to and upright or like correct position. Another thing I wish they had was a fan in the bathroom. I did appreciate it getting warm in there but since the door didn't close all the way, if we had the AC running, you could kinda feel it going into the bathroom which made it cold. Also keep in mind parking is $27 a night, secured garage which I loved but limited spaces and some people parked like in weird spots that weren't marked spaces which kinda made it hard to get out when we were trying to leave. read more

We booked this hotel only because of the view and the website said it was a world class roof top patio. Well we get here and the view has been obstructed by a new hotel that has been built. So don't be fooled by the website picture. I was only able to get one picture. The roof top is really small and can accommodate maybe 3 families. This hotel has no pool or hot tub. The parking is only for compact cars. The wifi is horrible. The reason I gave them a two star was because the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. read more

All the staff members were very friendly the moment you arrive. We were greeted with a smile the moment our taxi arrived as the staff member came out to assist us with our luggage. We arrived much earlier than the check-in; however, our room was already ready which was a relief as we were nervous about where we could secure our luggage while we went to the Space Needle and Pikes Market. The hotel is definitely an older hotel; however, you can tell that did the renovation to upgrade it. We were impressed with the bathroom. If you ask for two beds, the beds are very, very close together, just enough leg room to exit. Our view of the water was just gorgeous being on the 5th Floor. The roof top view is very limited with tables but a nice view of the water and the Space Needle. Another plus for the hotel is that it is very well centralized to the Space Needle, Pikes Market, and the piers to catch your cruise. They do offer an independent hotel shuttle that will take you to the piers which is worth the $10.00 per person, cash only, which doesn't say in the hotel description but was a relief when we asked at the front desk. There is a true Starbucks located on the first floor as there is no restaurant. Overall, we would stay here again if needed. read more

I was pleasantly surprised at this place. My job booked the entire team rooms here. I stayed in 3 different rooms across the 4 weeks I was there and all were great. The hotel is older but very well kept. I did not have any cleaning issues and the staff were great about my extra towel requests. They were also super accessible and friendly. All of them! There is no room service but many restaurants within a 2 block radius as well as 2 grocery stores and a dry cleaners. What's super fun is the full service Starbucks next door which is accessible via the hotel without having to go outside. This was awesome because this was during the time when it was snowing. I would order my coffee and breakfast sandwich then walk downstairs and grab it. The hotel is also walkable to downtown, about 2 miles. I actually walked to work twice and back to the hotel about 5 times, taking a shortcut thru the Space Needle park. I always felt safe. During a big snow one evening right at the 5pm rush hour, instead of waiting for Uber to sit in gridlock, we walked. It was awesome. read more

Stayed here for a night prior to boarding a cruise and it was the perfect spot. The location was great. It wasn't the closest walk but it was walkable to Pike Place Market and to the main area along the water. The room was clean. It had an iron in it which was great since many of my clothes were wrinkled after flying. They had free coffee and they also had a Starbucks attached to get a breakfast you did have to pay for from. The rooftop view was amazing. It was a great spot to watch the sunset with some takeout and a drink. I highly recommend this hotel. read more

I loved the rooftop patio with a great view of Seattle, the Space Needle, and the waterfront. Loved watching the ferries come and go across the Salish Sea! The hotel was clean and comfortable. Convenient location. Parking was super affordable, secure, and had direct access to the hotel so also very safe. Like many Seattle neighborhoods, there are some unhoused folks along the sidewalk, but we were two women traveling and we still felt safe walking. read more

March 29-31, 2019. Booked my reservation via Booking.com and got a good deal (based on comparison on other sites) Location: it is situated near the space needle, international fountain, seattle center, key arena etc. There is also a star bucks on the 1st floor of the hotel, CVS pharmacy, Safeway and Another Market all in 1-2 blocks distance. Very conveniently located I arrived 12nn and the check in time was 4pm. The front desk told me that they will try to get me checked in as early as possible and by 1pm my room was ready. Online I made a request near the elevator, and they indeed gave me a room next to the elevator. The room is a decent size (a bit small) but not an issue for me becauase I was by myself. It was clean and had free snacks. They also offer free wifi, free bike, bike locks and helmet. The room is clean. It is not a modern design hotel but definitely not outdated. The only issue I had was the TV had issues but they were able to fix it in 2 minutes of my request. The staff were extremely nice, courteous and very professional. I enjoyed my stay here. The best part is the the rooftop. The set-up was good; very relaxing. You can actually buy food, wine and just sit there and relax with a great view of the city (space needle). Summary: DEFINITELY COMING BACK TO THIS HOTEL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. read more

They definitely have a good view from the terrace. Due to limited number of rooms with a view, most of them are first to get sold out. So, confirm with them if you are looking to get a room with a view before your reservation. Other than that, a very old dingy feel to the actual floors where rooms are located. I would never stay at this place again or recommend someone just to get a view from the terrace. As my friend's apartment terrace has a same view of Seattle. To have a better view of the city, one could go to space needle as well or a view point at the avenues. The staff is nice and the main floor is spacious and we ended up hanging out there before we retired to our rooms. Oh! Don't forget, the terrace access is during fixed hours so you can't really enjoy the place as per your convenience. read more

The only negative thing, is there a homeless people on the streets, but they were everywhere. The staff was nice and accommodating. We liked this hotel for our three night stay in Seattle. If your time is limited in the city, this is a great option. The hotel is within walking distance of some excellent restaurants and quaint coffee shops. Parking is around $18/night and be advised to drive very slowly out of the garage as there is a steep incline. We rented a car but after trying to deal with parking in the city on the first day, we found that it was easier to just walk and take the bus everywhere. The hotel is very close to the bus stop and about a 10 minute walk to the Space Needle. It felt like we were in a fairly safe area in the neighborhood of Queen Anne. The hotel let us check in a little early the afternoon we arrived and even upgraded us to a slightly larger room for no extra charge (nice surprise). Get a higher floor away from the street if you don't want the street noise as some of the buses and occasional loud cars/motorcycles going by (we had second floor). Liked the additional sink and mirror outside of the bathroom for ease of getting ready in the morning. After our room was cleaned on two occasions, we returned to stronger than normal smell of air freshener, but our rooms were clean so no complaints there. Thankfully we could open the windows and let the smell out. The hotel had decent amenities. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea downstairs. The coffee was burned one afternoon but that's a little understandable since it was later in the day. There is a Starbucks literally attached to the hotel so one could also make the argument that there was not a lack of options. There was a gym, but my husband and I being fitness-minded, we found it was a little small and we wish it had free weights. The best part of the hotel was the rooftop view! We took some excellent photos of the Space Needle and Seattle waterfront from there. Overall, the price was reasonable for the great location of this hotel. read more

When I was trying to figure out where to stay during my trip to Seattle, I was looking for whatever was closest to Climate Pledge Arena since my wife and I were there for a hockey game. My laziness truly paid off. They offer a bag check which we were planning on using since we arrived long before "official" check in. I unfortunately didn't get employee names but the person at the desk who helped us check in managed to find a room for us that was available! The employees were all very helpful and friendly. Any time we went to the lobby (arriving or leaving), we were greeted. Our room was very clean and the bathroom was far bigger than we expected. The location was fantastic as well. Great food in every direction, small grocery store close by, short walk to the arena, food court close by, and the major tourist stuff (Space Needle, MoPop, Glass Garden) were only slightly past the arena. Bus stops were a couple minute walk and the monorail took 10ish minutes to walk to. As if it hadn't already been a great experience, check out time was hours before we had to go to the airport and the staff still did a bag check for us to hold our stuff between check out and when we had to head to the airport. If we're ever in Seattle again, I thankfully already know where we plan to stay. read more

A simple hotel that provides lodging, a fitness center, parking, beverages in the lobby, and a great view of Seattle. The staff was pleasant and the room was simple as well. The room has a kitchenette which is a nice addition to it and the bed was pretty comfortable. I was lucky enough to get a room that was facing outside the building so I had a nice view of Safeway and the parking lot behind the hotel. During my stay I was frustrated with the lack of parking spaces they had. The spaces are compact and there wasn't enough for everyone who was staying that weekend. I called the hotel and asked them for suggestions. They said to park on the street because it was free until Monday (Sunday it's free parking). I mean if I paid for the I should have a spot right? They should do assigned parking spots so you know what douchebag took up 2 spots. But other than that no complaints and it's a budget friendly hotel that'll serve your purposes while in Seattle. read more

I had to cancel my reservation due to COVID-19 health concerns in the area. Seattle is in a state of emergency and the hotel has refused to issue a refund for my canceled reservation. Management has gone missing and has not replied to my email in regards to this situation. Under certain situations like a state of a emergency and a viral outbreak you'd expect businesses to act accordingly.
