If you are looking for a good Italian restaurant with great prices and service, go to Medo's. We had manicotti and ravioli and they were both very tasty. The bread sticks with their homemade sauce was delicious. The can't beat the prices for any local restaurant. read more

We were passing through the area and stopped to eat there. Outside appearance almost made us turn around and leave. Once inside we found the service to be very good. I am not a fan of sweet tomato sauce but the food was good and the portions were huge. I would go back. read more

The customer service here is horrible! I have ordered food from them for four years because their food for the most part is good but the people that answer the phone seem high or flat out rude. If you lose business then you lose a place to work. The past six months has gotten worse. I have finally made the decision to stop allowing the abuse just because I get irritated with having to repeat my order because the person on the other end is so rude or if the person taking the order has to ask someone a question and you hear screaming or cussing on the other end. I have tried bringing it to the attention of the owner but they don't care either. They have lost my business! I have given them much opportunity to fix their customer service isssues. read more

Blandest tasting stuff claiming to be Italian food I ever tried to eat. Italian food is bursting with flavor. Saying this is Italian food is criminal. The only taste the meats had were the seasonings. You could serve wet cardboard with the same seasonings and it would have tasted exactly the same. read more

Absolutely love this place. I think it's just the service people think is so "terrible" but honestly the dine in is so pretty and the fountain in the front is so welcoming. Deliveries are so fast and the food is always so warm and delicious. The only thing I really recommend is to add new desserts as much I love y'all's chocolate cake. Absolutely try this place. Worse place to eat at, it was fine a few years ago when I first moved to asheboro but now it's completely terrible. Not only was the service terrible but the coffee was as well, I saw a worker wearing no gloves cooking the food. Imagine them having some illness, huge no no. Never before had I ordered from Medo's before...heard they had good pizza. I walk in and order a med. take out pizza. Twenty mins. later I was asked what I had ordered... I repeated. Twenty mins. later I inquired about my pizza. I was told it just came out of the oven. Ten mins. later I was told sir it's coming right out. Ten mins. later I inquired again... I was told 5 minutes. While waiting I had to listen to the filthiest language from employees and it was disgusting. From F*** this to F*** you cursing in general right in front of customers at the register to hearing from the kitchen. Over an hour later I got my Pizza. It was good but the demeanor and language of employees is a turn off. Not something for your kids to hear. A month later I called in an order for another pizza. I went 30 mins. later and while waiting my turn in line.... the same trashy language, the same 4 letter words, same trashy employees which to me displays very poor management. The pizza is good but the employees and management leaves a lot to be desired. BE CAREFUL if you go here with small kids b/c of the language. read more

One star because you cant give zero stars! I already posted a review but apparently they removed it. But I'll keep spreading the word. We've tried this place twice. both times hardly anyone in the place. The first time service was very slow and the food marginal. Decided to give it another try and the next time we never, ever got service. We came in and were told to seat ourselves. Watched a service tend to the man across the aisle from us but never acknowledged us. Two giant televisions on either end of the restaurant playing television programs with lions devouring their prey...very appetizing. Lots of laughing and carrying on from the kitchen but finally we got up and left and went somewhere else. Honestly I don't even know how this place stays in business. Bad food. Wrose service. Terrible location and atmosphere. Asheboro doesn't have a lot to offer in the way of Italian food but seriously, anyplace is better than this one. And now I wait. Worst place to order delivery....waited 2 hours ended up canceling order....never again

This place lacks customer service. Plain and simple. I called to place an order and I was put on hold for 6 minutes by a gentleman...then a young lady answered and said "medos" I said "I'd like to place an order". She mumbled something and then proceeded to place me back on hold and no response. I called back and another new person answer and i finally placed my order. Bottom line....the food is pretty good....the people answering the phones to take orders are honestly god awful. They need to get more experienced workers in my opinion. read more

I recommend DO NOT get the chicken tenders for $5! You will be greatly disappointed. Look at the picture which one doesn't belong? Three different chicken tenders from the last one. I was told they would be large chicken tenders however they are very small and sad looking. I'm very disappointed in this restaurant. I had high hopes I was let down. The one star is for the food taste. The calzone, lasagna, and other meals that our party ordered were good once they finally arrived. Other than the food, everything needs work. Our food came out a few plates at a time, and each time, at least one of the plates was incorrectly prepared or didn't belong at our table at all. We were asked at least three times to repeat all of the items we were missing. My calzone came out at least 20 minutes after the first plate arrived at the table. A meal that should have taken about 50 minutes took about an hour and 20 minutes. When paying up front, we were not offered any discounts for our pain. We will not be back for any family meals in the future. read more

Ok, I'm with a group visiting Asheboro on business regularly. We always stay at the Holiday Inn or the Hampton, both decent hotels btw. On night we were there everyone wanted Italian. The front desk recommended Medo's. Why? I have no idea. Maybe no one in Asheboro has ever had ral Italian food if this is the best the town has to offer, because this is NOT good italian food. Very bland tasting. Maybe it was like fake tofu meat or something. Service was good though. The decor and atmosphere was laughable. No I would not recommend this, and no I would never return. Was told yesterday they don't use pork products that it is turkey sausage, turkey pepperoni, turkey ham... Can't say that's gospel, but it would explain why it tasted so bland. read more

Looking for pizza in Asheboro...not too many good choices. Sir pizza is ok, but wanted some real pizza. Was so excited when I saw this picture of what looked like authentic coal oven pizza with fresh mozzarella and fresh basil. Well apparently that picture was taken at another restaurant! I asked the waitress about it and she said she had never seen anything like that there. Back with local friends for dinner. Ordered 2 calzones, 1 chicken & 1 meat. Both were quite bland and could have had more meat filling. Even the marinara dipping sauce was flat. Vegetable spaghetti was just OK. Service was good as were the prices but the food needed more flavor. Will try again sometime. read more

My husband and I have been ordering from heat for years. We were at my parents house 2 miles from the place, and it took 3 phone calls to get our food delivered because they messed up our address when we repeated the address and spelled it to the lady who took the order. When they finally got to our house it had be 2 hours and 30 minutes. Left half our order out and would not give it to us for free only a small discount when they told us they had to reheat meal. WORST PLACE TO ORDER DELIVERY FROM!!!!! Delivery order from this place has been wrong more than once. If the order isn't wrong it takes over an hour to get the food and when it does finally get here it is half cold. This time part of my order was missing and when I called to get the rest of my order was assured that it would be here shortly. Waited an hour and a half and still no delivery. Called back a third time and was told that my order was incorrect and that's why I still hadn't gotten the rest of my order even though the same woman on the phone had me repeat 3 times what it was and she said she remembered taking my order the first time. my sister called and told them she wanted a regular Stromboli and the girl told her they don't have regular strombolis anymore which is a big lie cause my husband and I got one like 2 weeks ago from there. my sister started out talking to one girl then she put her on hold and then another girl got on the phone to take her order . you need to hire experienced reliable adults to work there not teenagers who don't know what the hell they are doing. all those teenagers need to be fired. and ya'll need to cook the food all the way through instead of it being doughy and not cooked all the way. i'll make sure that we never order food from there again and people who deliver my food cant seem to find our address , it's not hard to follow directions to my house out here on Montclair ct, which is located off of nc highway 134 past the cox's Harley Davidson motorcycle shop drive up that road til you get to Monterey road, drive up that road about half a mile or so til you see the sign for Montclair ct, turn right onto Montclair ct drive until you see 3180 Montclair ct. not hard to find my house buttheads read more
