We've been regular customers for the last 2 years.. We usually order wings and the occasional salad. 12/23 we ordered wings (cooked crispy) and a chef salad. The salad consisted of lettuce, a half cup of mozz shredded cheese, 3 halves tomato slices, one that consisted of part of the stem, 5 odd dry hunks of carrot The wings were so pale they were almost white, layered with so much sauce we couldn't see the wings this cost us $27 + tip I had to remove the gross pieces of veggie in the salad and remake it using my own ingredients. The wings had to be cooked in the oven. Very obvious when a restaurant doesn't care about the food they serve. Never again. I could have bought a whole bag of wings, and all the ingredients for a salad and fed 8 people for what that terrible dinner for 2 cost. read more

This place opened a few months back in a strip center off Groometown Road. As far as I can tell this is a locally owned restaurant with no chain affiliation. It is a small place with a limited amount of seating, and seems to do more take out and delivery than eating in. They specialize in pizza, subs, burgers, pasta entrees, a few salads, and some appetizers, including wings. We tried a Cheeseburger ($5.95 with FFs), an American Sub ($5.50), and a large Pizza with Pepperoni, Green Peppers, and Onions ($12.45). The Pizza was actually pretty good, though the crust was really limp. The toppings were good, and the cheese was outstanding. The Cheeseburger was solid, with a nice flavor. The FFs were under cooked and under seasoned, but there is potential there if cooked properly. The American Sub was just OK, the roll is not at all crusty, and the meat and cheese filling was on the lite side. Would order the burger and pizza again. Sam's is pretty much exactly what I would have expected. A large and varied menu of pizzas, subs, wings, and other fried and short order foods. The prices are decent, and the food is fairly good, though not a must have. Its a good take out joint for people living and working in the area, is the best way I can describe it. The interior is definitely geared toward take out, with just a handful of tables for dining in. They also deliver within a 5 mile radius. Beverages only come in canned and 2-liter form. No brewed drinks available. I had a chicken parm sub with fries and a drink. I would say the sub was very filling, had decent flavor... particularly the mozzerella and marinara sauce. Next time I would probably order the small, as it came with quite a bit of fries which filled me up. The fries could use more salt, but were otherwise crispy and OK. My wife had a calzone which was not skimpy on the toppings, and she was pretty pleased with it. Overall, I'll throw these guys a bone and give it 4 stars. The prices are good, and they are hitting their mark as attempting to undercut the other meal options in the shopping center, albeit with a slight reduction in food quality. Upon a recommendation, I went to Sam's to get a steak and cheese sub. As you can see from the picture, it was more like a bread and cheese sub as the meat filling, which another reviewer noted was sparse, didn't even cover all the bread. Here's a tip for Sam, when you make a sandwich, especially one that is named after the ingredients, every bite should contain said ingredients. Unfortunately, this was not the case for this sub. They also don't accept the Attractions coupons, which is weird. read more

It's National Take Out Food Day, so we headed for Sam's .. We ordered 10 wings mild Buffalo, cooked extra crispy, and a chef's salad with extra ranch dressing on the side.. The food was great! The salad was fresh and crispy with lots of toppings..the home made ranch dressing is awesome!! These wings are as close to upstate NY Buffalo wings as you can find here in NC (and I've tried waaaay too many) The sauce is on point! This is my favorite spot for a simple grilled chicken Greek salad- tangy dressing, lots of iceberg lettuce, flavorfully grilled chicken, and a good portion of carrots, cucumbers, olives, and pepperoncinis. On a whim, I tried the grilled chicken sub today and was blown away. They REALLY know how to grill chicken at this place. It's a simple sandwich, chicken, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and maybe some cheese (couldn't tell) but executed great (if a little skimpy on the protein). I love Sam's! It is very close to my work and so convenient. For the amount and quality of the food, the prices are unbeatable. They have a very easy online ordering system, they deliver via DoorDash, or of course you can order over the phone. I've tried so many items at Sam's and everything is so good. They have an awesome grilled chicken salad - lots of fresh veggies, cheese, homemade ranch dressing, and juicy chicken! All topped with a delicious pita. The eggplant Parmesan and spaghetti are great, but I also really enjoy their pizzas. Ashley is the best!!! She is always happy and in a great mood. Disappointing food I ordered Burger and Fries online through GrubHub. I the section that asked if you want anything extra. I added Mustard Mayonnaise and Ketchup. Picked my order up got back to my office and there was no Tomato or Lettuce. Called and spoke to two rude people who said that if you add something in the comments the only give you what you add. I asked what kind of sense did that make? So if that is the case why not just give me a bun and no burger. WOULD not issue a refund and told me to call GrubHub. When GrubHub called them they refused to issue a refund. I advised you will give me a refund and he finally did. Total jerks. NEVER going there again. read more

I didn't want to make myself dinner a few nights ago, and Sam's was having a special delivery deal. Bingo. My first Sam's experience was extremely pleasant, and I'll definitely be ordering again. The burger was huge and perfectly cooked, and the accompanying sides were delicious. The gentleman that delivered my meal was friendly and patient (I hadn't yet returned from walking my dog when he showed up [because delivery was so much faster than expected!] but he waited a few minutes for me to hurry back, which I appreciated immensely). We eat at Sam's QUITE often. More often than I would like to admit. The food is BANGING. The burger is huge, and wings are out of this world! I made the mistake of ordering wings from a major pizza chain after having them at Sams. I laughed at how tiny the big chain's wings were. I learned my lesson. STICK WITH SAM'S! They will even do custom orders for us, and ALWAYS go above & beyond to be sure we're immensely happy. The owner is ALWAYS nice to us, no matter how busy they are. If my hubby picks up our order, the owner is AMAZING to my 6 year old. Praises her for doing good in school. Rain or shine, my order is delivered to my door with a smile. Almost every delivery place charges a fee, so it's shouldn't be an issue. The fee is not a tip by the way. Give accurate directions & tip well. A little respect goes a LONG way. Do unto others. :) I have bragged to everyone I know, praised them on social media on several accounts too. We love everything from the pizza, wings, burgers, stromboli & even the desserts. The Greek grilled chicken salad is OUT OF THIS WORLD. I have no clue what the chicken is marinated in, but I HAVE to order extra. It's divine! The Ranch is house made and my 3 year old is ADDICTED. THANK YOU for helping me get vegetables into my kid! They love the kid's spaghetti and meatballs, and chicken tenders and fries. The kid's cheeseburger is an adult one, so it's way more than my 6 year old can finish alone. I can't brag enough. Even after calling them and getting advice from them, I was STILL called back with "I'm sorry, we no longer carry or have the Family pasta dinner for $24.95. It will be over $42.00." They were running a 20% off your order special on their website. Just as I had done before with our pickup order, I used the code & was BLASTED over the phone. If you don't carry the Family Pasta dinner, why are you ARGUING with me over the 20% discount? Sooo...I'm supposed to PAY for delivery, when he's picking it up? Me thinks not! Being WHO we are and HOW much we order from them, when my husband walked in, they were glad to fill this order. However, it wasn't the 4 full sized pasta dinners with salads & garlic bread that we have gotten before. They gave us 2 adult pasta dinners with salad & garlic bread. Needless to say, Mommy had a grilled cheese she prepared at home. This has just left a bad taste in my mouth, figuratively speaking. Food is fantastic, I love there food and I can not express just how great the food is here. The Steak n cheese I have had in Greensboro. I'm from DC and it's been a challenge finding the kind of food I'm use to. My go to for subs. Also appreciate them going above and beyond after Door Dash sent me incorrect desert. I ordered cheese cake and dasher grabbed chocolate cake. The store send their own driver to bring me what I actually ordered. I'm waiting for it now. Anyway....this place is right across the street from my job and there aren't many places to get quick food over there so I was happy to see this open up. I got the small Fajita Steak Sub, small fries, small drink... $5.00 with coupon. Great Sub!!!! When they say "small sub" you're thinking half of a large sub, but no. The small is an 8" and the large may be a 12" or more. The cheese was good cheese and that matters on a steak sub. The onions, peppers, mushrooms, were all cooked just right and the meat was juicy and there was plenty of it. The fries were well seasoned and their ranch was also very good (something else that probably only matters to me). They have some really good "just opening" coupons with their take-out menu that are good for just trying things out if you want to. My co-workers have tried the salads, wings, and cheese fries and won't stop talking about them, so they are next on my list. read more

The chicken cheese steak pizza I order via doordash was horrible the meat was literally black. The excuse the cook gave to Haven was that he cooked the meat and then placed it on the pizza, no he fully burned the meat and then placed it on the pizza put the whole thing in the oven to ensure the cheese now match the meat. Since I used door dash to get the order in total I paid 16.75 for a burned to a crisp pizza that I did not eat. The store offered a store credit but do I really want to give him a second chance to burn my food again? The right thing to do would have been to send someone to get the pizza since I had not ate it and gave me back my money. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Horrible customer service... I will never order from this again! We (as a company) have been ordering from that place for Months with orders that were well over 100.00+, 2-3 times per week. Today we ordered and 2 of the salads were incorrect. Essa who said he was the owner and then changed his tone and said he was the manager is RUDE! I don't see how he is able to work in a customer service setting. He basically called me a liar when we called back to try and make the order right. I had 3 people witness me making the order and knew that it was ordered correctly. He then tells me that he will just bring me some "chicken" to put on the salad, that already has dressing on it and will be soggy by the time he gets here. On the 2nd salad, it was only supposed to turkey on it. They put ham and pepperoni on it, ESSA tells me that it is turkey in the ham and pepperoni so deal with it! and Hangs up the phone on me. He calls back and says the owner said remake the salads. He then come back to the school yelling in our Front office saying that they will never deliver to our business again! I have visited this establishment many times, and they have great food. However, I will never give them my business again! I placed an order for delivery (which they charge $3.00), and the delivery person pulls up in front of the building, and waits for me to come to his car!!!! Yes, it was raining,but where is your customer service!
