I typically have a great experience at this location. However; yesterday I took my son to have him checked for a severe cough. The doctor that attended to him, Asim Abbasi MD, I was not very fond of. He had a very bad "bed side" manner in my opinion. When a person is sick, they would prefer to speak with a doctor who is patient and empathetic. This doctor lacked the qualities. He gave my son his prognosis and treatment options literally as he was walking out of the door. He told me to buy some Mucinex. He didn't even give me a chance to ask "What kind of Mucinex?" as you know there are several options on the shelf at the store. I ended up having to ask the nurse as I was walking out the door. If I ever decide to go back to this location, I will make sure I call ahead of time to check to see if he is the doctor on duty. read more

Great service: friendly, thorough and quick. My kid was running a high fever, and my wife thought she might have the flu. She recommended MedSpring because they are "fast and good". We arrived shortly after opening, about 9:20am. It was early and we were the only patients waiting. The receptionist was very friendly. The only strange thing was that I had to hand over my drivers license and insurance card, but was told you have to do this on every visit. We waited only two minutes, and my daughter was taken to a room. I was offered the use of the K-Cup coffee maker, and a few good selections were available. The nurse arrived to write-up the symptoms and take measurements (height, weight...) and then we waited only a few more minutes for the doctor to arrive. The doctor asked a good number of questions and then took a mucus sample for flu testing. My daughter tested positive for the flu. Ok, the wife was right again... UHC insurance is only a $40 copay and MS faxed the Tamiflu prescription to our pharmacy. Overall, a great experience that took less than an hour from the time we walked-in to the time we left. read more

It handles emergencies and routine tests, such as drug tests or Covid tests. The front desk employee harshly told people there was a 3 hour wait for emergencies, and other people were told to come back a different day. The front desk employee was more concerned with their hair than helping people. Do not go here if you can help it, they are rude and inefficient. read more

I'm not one for doctor visits...wasn't feeling 100% over the weekend. Went to Care Now yesterday. For starters, my wife called them to find out about appointment, insurance, etc. Alexis the receptionist was super courteous, friendly and helpful. When we arrived, she was still the same friendly person my wife spoke with, and the nurse who came and called us in was equally friendly, courteous and caring. I had the combo test and she was very proficient at handling that as well. NP Drew then came in and saw me, and she also was top notch !! A few minutes later I got my diagnosis (Flu B) and my wife asked what she should do-NP Drew suggested test for her also...we were both tested, given prescriptions, and in our way in less than an hour. Highly recommend this location and their staff!!!! Couldn't have asked for a better experience... On a rainy Sunday morning, this is the last place we expects to be! But what a wonderful experience we had... Friendly and courteous staff, knowledgeable nurse, extremely competent doctor(Dr. V is specialized in Urgent Care medicine) with a phenomenal bedside manner. They have 10 rooms, so there's rarely a wait... X-rays on site... Comfortable rooms with TV and wifi makes it even more pleasant. We were very impressed and pleased. I am also an allied health professional and have works in different hospitals... Not all professionals have a great attitude or bedside manner. But you can't write off the whole place based on one bad experience with one person (in reference to a previous review). We will be back for years to come. read more

I waited 30 minutes for a doctor to see me for her to come in and spend less than a minute with me. When she came in to "examine" me, instead I was interrogated by her abruptly asking me what I had done to my foot. There was NO bedside manner or medical expertise shown. This visit was a waste of my time and money. I only came here on a Saturday because I started a new job and can't take time off during the week to see my primary doctor until my 90 days are up. I have been here 3 times now and I love it!!! Becky and Dipan are awesome. Truly skilled Nurse Practioners. They are always very thorough and truly care about each patient's individual needs. The iPad check in was quick and efficient. They clean them between each patient to keep the flu germs from spreading; that was a relief to see in a healthcare facility. I chose this urgent care facility as I was close to my home & my daughter had a fever. After a cold welcome from the front desk, I was told to full out paperwork & attach my insurance card & ID. The waiting area was clean & spacious but 45 minutes later I was still waiting to be seen. Apparently, there was a computer issue & they could not see anyone until the problem was resolved? I was only told this after I asked for my info back to go to another urgent care. Regarding: awesome job with 7 year old son's chin stitches. My 7 year old son fell in the shower and split his chin open on a Saturday afternoon. Being new here, and not knowing where to go, I found this on the web. We went in, and the staff was super attentive to our (minor) emergency, and saw us first, before the kid in before us for the school form visit. I SO appreciated their speed and care shown. I was a bit nervous when they said it may be best to see a plastic surgeon, but it was in a spot so far under his chin that no one would see it, we proceeded. They sewed him up with 8 stitches--and they were careful and exacting, and very nice. We just got the stitches removed today by our pediatrician. First, I'm so glad we (couldn't) go to her--they only glue skin (really?, how do they NOT do stitches?). She agreed that Dr. Titone did an awesome job. Reed, the nurse, was super sweet and helpful. Had to make a last minute trip a few nights ago because of a flare up of a condition I've been treated for for the past 6-7 years (my typical physician was closed for the weekend). Even though I made it just before they closed at 9:00PM, they still took the time to do a thorough examination. Never any hint that they really wanted to leave as soon as possible. They did, however, give me an estimate on how long I would have to wait to be seen, which was very minimal. And seriously, guys, the facility was immaculate--both lobby and treatment rooms are straight up immaculate. I didn't need anything, but they had a fully stocked fridge with water and sodas (not just diet coke, coke zero as well), an available Keurig (a higher end version), and a cabinet with tons of snacks. I couldn't have had a better experience at this Medspring location. Obviously hope I don't have to make another visit, but if I do, I won't hesitate to venture back there. read more

This is literally the best urgent care I have ever been to. I had to bring my son in a couple of months ago for a nasty flu and they were so excellent with him. What is usually a nightmare with a 12 year old became very simple and fast. My husband stopped in for the same thing a week later and had an amazing visit. Today I stopped in for a different matter and the entire staff from front to back were so welcoming and easy to talk with. You can actually look forward to going to the doctor when you visit this location. It's extremely clean and comfortable. They even provide snacks and tvs in every room. I've been a patient here twice and both times were pleasant experiences. Even though I've never had to wait for more than five minutes before being shown to a room, there's coffee, tea, and hot cocoa available in the waiting or reception room. They also have free wifi. The rooms are clean and each contains a coloring table (in case you arrive with a young child) and a tv that you may control. The nursing staff was efficient and so were both of the doctors I saw. Each of my visits necessitated an antibiotic and the staff was great about calling my regular pharmacy to have the prescription ready for me to pick up. I highly recommend this clinic for times that you can't get in to see your regular doctor quickly. My insurance doesn't cover urgent care but both times my bill has been about $150, which came out of my health savings account. I'd definitely return. read more

Medspring was clean and well kept, something I look for in a care facility. The wait was about an hour... however I was a walk in and it was thanksgiving weekend. The staff was attentive and kept me informed on the wait time. They did not have a doctor on premises... I was seen by a Nurse practitioner. She was very efficient, listened, and asked pertinent questions. I am happy with the care I was given. Recommend. They even have coffee and tea available while you wait to be seen! read more

I'm pretty sure they are overcharging my insurance company and consequently, me. Said my husband was here for a 45-min expanded visit complete with vitals, a diagnosis and prescriptions. We were not in the room longer than 20 min. I'm not sure what it means by expanded. This is the same service that you get at any doc visit. This was also with a PA, not MD. I just saw my claim and I owe $198!! What a racket! My insurance company called to dispute and they gave them the runaround. I will not be going back and super unhappy at this point. I drive an extra 15 min past the Memorial Hermann Urgent care in my neighborhood because they have always been so nice at medspring, but something is definitely up with over billing now. read more

Updated from 1* to 4* ******************************************** We came here on a Sunday evening for a family check up. They ran out of flu kit and diagnosed everyone with ear infection and prescribed the amoxicillin and cough medicine. Everyone has flu symptom... the Amoxicillin was not helpful at all. We called the 888-980-0303 and 888-980-0505 and was told that a physician will call me right back to change prescription. We called roughly at 6pm and waited til 7:45pm no one called so we decided to stop by this MED clinic. At 8pm sharp doors locked. The staffs walked out and saw us and told us they are closed we asked for another prescription Bc it's not working for us... if we need Tamiflu let us know I'll rush to the pharmacy! Instead, she refused to listen and kept the door locked. With the dangerous flu going on in Houston, this clinic doesn't really care about any patients wellbeing. There were no patient waiting in line. A quick revisit check up will not take up too much time. We have a 5 and a 7 years old not feeling so well. So much for the urgent care... i know we're late but we called head of time and no response. Giving us some time to explain would be nice instead of treating us like germ bags and staying as far away from the door as possible to talk to us. I don't think this is a good place to bring you family at least for ours! read more

Went in at 9:15, filled out paperwork for 25 minutes to then be taken back and told, "Oh, didn't they tell you at the front desk we are out of flu tests? We've been out for weeks." Um no they didn't tell me! She then tells me, "oh, well, the doctor doesn't need the test, he can tell by seeing you".... o k ? Really? Back to the front desk to get money back for the appointment, lady still on her cell phone texting... says here is your receipt and when I asked do you have any other recommendations she says No, not really, you'll have to google it... The experience I had at Next Level Urgent Care was amazing, they were courteous, took me to a room, made me comfortable, asked if they could bring me anything. I had a mishap where I cut my head open and needed it to be treated and closed. I arrived at urgent care and was immediately taken back for the PA to see how bad the cut was and what was needed for the treatment. The PA was Becky and she was awesome she explained what was going to happen and why. She even took a photo of the injury with my phone to show the extent of the injury. She cleaned it up, gave me a shop to numb the area and placed sutures and stapled to close the wound. She was very thorough and very friendly in explaining everything. The center is clean, quiet, and the staff all very helpful . If you unfortunately need their services there are top notch. I will definitely WHEN needed use their services again. read more

Sloths and liars... I went in for an infection on my leg and ended up being there over 2 hours even when I called in before. They informed me that I had a $98 charge from a visit to another MedSpring in town, which I'm not sure why they didn't inform my about at my last visit. This was in November and today I received a $255 charge from them, even though they said insurance would completely cover that visit. Also, the "nurse" that checked me out could not answer any of my questions about the infection (it was covering half my leg) and proceeded just to squeeze the puss out. I could have done that at home and saved $255. I do not recommend this place to anyone unless you're ok with being hit with hidden charges read more

He was quick, nice, to-the-point, and no nonsense. Explained to me the treatment plan, what to expect, and did not sugar coat it. It was what I needed. There is nothing urgent about the care here. My husband stopped on his way home from work, during an open appointment time frame based upon the website. Paper work completed he was shown into a room where he waited a full hour with NO ONE coming to see him. Just sent my college-aged daughter there since it's covered by our Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. She seems to have bronchitis and cannot quit coughing and has had a slight fever. We are all losing sleep at night because of this! She waited over two hours (and had made an appt online). The nurse took a throat swab, and then doctor came back to tell her test was negative and to go home and take some Claritin or Zyrtec. My daughter asked for help with the cough, and doctor told her "can't cure a cough". The doctor spent less than 5 minutes with her after a long long wait. and did NOT listen to her chest or look in her throat. I'm betting we'll have to send her elsewhere for some real help if cough and fever keeps going. Total cost with ins. - $170. Won't be going back. read more

This was one of the best visits to an urgent care we've ever had. My son was having an asthma attack & was taken immediately back. The nurse & dr were both very caring & great at explaining the course of action. My son is a severe asthmatic & is on a strict course of daily meds, so this is not the first time he's been seen in an urgent care. We went once when he had the flu, once when I had an accident & no one else was open and today when I was home sick from work. Neither visit has taken longer than an hour, the rooms are nice and clean, & the staff has been great! My only thing is that all the doctors have been young but they've all been very informed. It's nice to have such a convenient facility in our growing area. Hopefully you don't need them but if you do, I'd recommend Medspring! read more
