It was a little hard to find but her daughter guided me there on the phone while I was lost. Initially it was a little off putting as I thought they might not be as sanitary because the wax was dark colored. I later found out she doesn't use wax but sugar. This process reduces irritation to the skin & is less painful. In my 35 years of life, I have only been waxed once when I was 19 for a pool party. I vowed never to do it again because of all the pain & skin irritation I experienced afterwards. There was minimal pain & absolutely no skin issues after this procedures. I asked "Peter" the receptionist if it could be done in an hour and he said yes. I got there and the lady started soaking my nails in a grocery store plastic bag with acetone soaked paper towels. Weird but ok. After 15 minutes of that, she announced "you have solar nails and we don't do that"! Really?? Your website says you do. See pic. She replied that their website was out of date like that absolved her of any responsibility! It took her 40 minutes of paper towel soaking, sawing away with an electric file and slapping on acrylic to finish one hand! She acted as if she wanted to quit then and actually told me that I should go back to my former nail salon. No joke. She finally finished 1 hr and 20 minutes later despite the promised 1 hour by Peter. My nails were so poorly done. And to boot 3 DAYS LATER my nails are bubbling from beneath the surface. See pic. Just horrible and a complete waste of time and money.
