Q Mochi & Caramel Pudding Shave Ice (medium)
    Cathy S.

We came here on a hot day this week for a cool afternoon treat. This location just opened and it used to be Noodle World (RIP). The space itself is small so you can see everything when walking in. All tables were occupied when we went but luckily another small group shared their table with us. It looked like they only had 2 people working the whole time between all the orders and they were doing their best to keep up. The guy at the register was patient with us despite being so busy and was helpful with the recommendations as it was our first time and all the choices can be very overwhelming! We also got a free iced jasmine green tea with our order this time! What a pleasant surprise! We decided to order the Q mochi & caramel pudding milk tea shave ice, medium size for $15.50 that was the perfect potion for us to share. (The large is only $1 more and it looks significantly bigger lol) The shave ice had brown sugar syrup and condensed milk with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. The four corners had different toppings including almond pudding, caramel pudding, taro balls, grass jelly, and pieces of chewy mochi logs. The whole dessert really worked well together in both flavor and texture, and the best part is that it was not too sweet (IYKYK). The Berry and mango shave ice looked amazing too so we will definitely give that a try and this will sure be a popular spot this summer!

I am a huge meetfresh fan. I came on a weekday around 2pm and was the only people inside. I wanted a mango bingsu but they were out of mango. Sooooo sad. I got a strawberry shave ice and added sago. The strawberry was very good. The sago got too cold and wasn't bouncy anymore. There was a perfect amount of cream on the ice. I just wish there was mango.

This is the second time I've visited the Meet Fresh location in Tigard, and unfortunately, I won't be coming back.My first visit was about a month after their grand opening. We ordered four drinks and one Hot Red Bean Signature dessert, and it took 46 minutes for our order to be prepared. To make matters worse, they skip our order entirely. We watched them prepare several orders for customers who arrived after us while we continued waiting. When we asked why other customers were receiving their orders before us, the staff told us that those were smaller orders and that ours was "too large." I don't consider four drinks and one dessert to be a large order, especially for a dessert shop. The same thing happened to a larger group ahead of us, who were also left waiting while later customers were served first. The experience was frustrating and gave us the impression that order size mattered more than serving customers fairly and efficiently. I hoped it was just a new-business growing pain, so I decided to give them another chance.During my second visit, my sister-in-law was placing our order when the cashier stayed on her phone the entire time. She barely acknowledged us, seemed uninterested in taking our order, and came across as rude.I've had the Hot Red Bean Signature dessert at other Meet Fresh locations and enjoyed it, but the quality at this location has been disappointing. I've ordered it here twice, and both times it was watered down and the toppings were not soft or fresh as they should have been. Between the poor service and consistently disappointing food quality, I have no intention of returning to this dessert shop.

I ordered a grass jelly signature bowl with qq balls. They did not have the topping I wanted so they had to call me back up to the front of the store to change my order since ordering was through a screen. I was not a fan of the replacement toppings they suggested. The seating area was clean and spacious. They have a free water station with mini dixie cups if you need a sip. Overall, the experience was mediocre and not worth the price.

Overall experience was good. We ordered drinks and shared a pudding and Q mochi milk shaved ice. The wait time was a little long, but it's understandable since we went when they were still pretty new. The inside was super humid though. The shaved ice was great, we loved the toppings. Knocked off a star because the drinks were not. Will have to go back and try the other desserts!

We loved this place! Portions are huge. We were surprised by the prices but satisfied with the taste and portion. I would highly recommend getting the black sugar boba milky shaved ice if you enjoy brown sugar, caramel flavors. It came with a scoop of ice cream, boba, and flan. Although something to note is that this particular flavor took longer; it was at least 10 minutes delayed compared to the other two shaved ice flavors we ordered. It could've been that they needed to prepare the boba. Each shaved ice was full of flavor from start to finish and we were content at the end. They also sell boba drinks and other various desserts. We came around 7pm on a Friday night and there wasn't a line but a crowd started to form shortly after, resulting in no open tables left.

I was so happy to find a Meet Fresh in Portland, as it's one of my favorite dessert spots in California! We ordered our usual, the Double Taro Signature. While it didn't taste quite the same as the ones we've had in California, it still hit the spot and satisfied my craving! We had to order at the register because the kiosk wasn't working. The service was a bit slow overall. The store offered plenty of seating, so finding a table was easy.

Meet Fresh is my go-to spot to bring friends. Their desserts are such a good deal--especially the large size, which is huge and perfect for sharing with 2-4 people. It's always a fun experience to dig into one of their bowls with a group of friends The toppings never disappoint. The mochi is always soft and chewy and the shaved ice is drenched in condensed milk and brown sugar syrup, making every bite sweet and satisfying. If you're looking for a place to share delicious desserts with friends, this is the spot. It's always a good time, and the portions make it totally worth it!

amazing dessert - do not calculate the calories tho since the first time i went, i went back twice already, i really love their sesame balls ans q mochi! i like that you can customize your desserts to your liking! service is super nice - ive always had issues with using their app/point system but the employees helped me resolve the issues!

This place was my figurative Great White Whale. I'd had a shaved ice from them at a summer market last year, and it was absolutely life changing to be completely honest. I've been searching for them ever since and was thrilled to see they opened a location and I happily made the hour drive out to Hillsborough. Hands down the best shaved ice I've ever had in my entire life. You MUST visit this place. The boba is also phenomenal.

Really great shaved ice! This is a franchise, and I remember trying it years ago in California. They have an impressive selection of shaved ice, plus boba drinks and other small bites. It does get pretty crowded, but the experience is worth it. We ordered the Black Sugar Boba Milky Shaved Ice, and it was fantastic--topped with black sugar boba, red beans, black tea sauce, caramel pudding, condensed milk, and vanilla ice cream. The combination was rich, creamy, and full of different textures. The shop is clean, and the staff is very friendly. Definitely a great spot if you're craving quality shaved ice!

Black Milk Tea with mini taro balls
    Sarah M.

Got the double taro signature, it was alright, I know Asian desserts aren't that sweet but I wish it was just a touch sweeter. It was sort of bland. The milk tea with the mini taro balls, I got for free for checking in on Yelp. But when I tried to ask for it the worker was a bit rude & it felt like he was brushing it off. I had to ask the other worker there if maybe they were still working on it & then she made it for me. The milk tea flavor itself was good. Nice & strong. The mini taro balls were good as well, very similar to normal tapioca boba pearls. The best thing we got was honestly the strawberry smoothie which I wasn't expecting. It was super delicious. The jelly on the bottom added a nice texture. The space is very spacious & had lots of tables. I wouldn't say it was cozy or inviting though. Just like an eat & go place. Overall, the desserts weren't bad but maybe just not my cup of tea & the customer service experience was rude enough to make me not want to return.

Our favorite of the various we ordered.
    Andrew A.

First, the name of the place doesn't resonate if I'm craving something sweet. There was only one person tending the register and preparing food and drink for a crowd of ~15 people on a Sunday. Ridiculous! The water station wasn't working. Of the various items we ordered, the towering one with a brown butter base and vanilla ice cream was our favorite. The others were more than decent. The place feels sloppy and unsanitary.

We were seated quickly -- it was a nice day, so we sat in their lovely outdoor dining area. They brought us room temperature waters (not a fan), and took our drink orders rather quickly. Service was good throughout our visit. I ordered the IPA Bacon Cheeseburger, which came (over)loaded with lots of fresh vegetables, a large burger patty, and the IPA mustard sauce. I don't want to complain about a burger being piled high with bacon, pickles, and fresh onions, lettuce, & tomatoes; but it was difficult to eat. While the Challah bun was delicious, it was woefully undersized for the task of holding it all together. I enjoyed it, but felt the IPA sauce was lost in the midst of everything else, and I also thought the burger patty was under-seasoned. I ordered fries as a side, and unfortunately they were the "battered" variety, which I just don't enjoy. Restaurants -- please, just serve normal French fries, without any batter on them! We knew from past experience that baked goods and desserts are really what La Provence is good at, so we ordered Tiramisu for dessert. Their very non-traditional take on this Italian classic would probably some people uneasy, but it was delicious. It had a dense chocolate cake base, with a thick layer of mascarpone mousse on top of that, then a topping of thin, crunchy, chocolate hazelnut ganache. Not too sweet, with a variety of textures to enjoy. We would definitely come back again, but I'd get something other than burger and fries.

When we moved to Oregon, it was under construction but we kept hearing how good it was - in fact, all the local FB pages would gush about it when a newcomer would ask about the best restaurant. And once it finally opened, we tried it, but it was kind of like Marie calendars and Shari's, but local. Ok, but not what we had expected for all the hype. So, after trying a handful of options it seemed Bannings was the only place we could still get breakfast so I begrudgingly agreed. Well, I was mistaken! I got the breakfast enchiladas and a strawberry orange mimosa. Now, the mimosa - I'll get that out of the way first. It was weird - it looked curdled. It just had mashed strawberry at the bottom and it actually was quite good. I'd do a normal mimosa in the future, but good. But the enchiladas - delicious. Like, I'll come back again and again for those. And they didn't charge me extra for the avocado, which I think is righteous because I asked for no hash browns. But not all places would do that, they'd nickel and dime even if you passed on one side for another. Additionally; my husband likes a savory breakfast and a sweet one too - so he often gets two breakfasts and though he may not eat all of both he gets that savory and sweet. Well, the omelettes come with 3 pancakes. Perfection. And, I took 3 bites of them - I usually might try 1 or not at all - they are very very good. Last - it did not break the bank. I've about ruled out breakfast out because of how crazy expensive the places that should be reasonable are. This was reasonable - PLEASE DONT CHANGE!! All in all 5 stars, will be back for breakfast; and hey - when I'm wrong I can admit I was wrong! Give them a try if you haven't!
