This is a place we like to come to for a sweet and refreshing treat! The space inside is small but the food and wait are worth it

I wish there is a zero star. I bought a rice ball tofu pudding, and almost all the rice ball are not fully cooked. I told the staff and they gave me a small bowl with 4 rice balls (and they are not sure if these are fully cooked). Those 4 rice balls are good. I understand it is near the close time so they might not have that many fresh rice balls to replace, but they could have returned the money instead of give me 4 unsure rice balls for a 10 dollars bowl which supposed to have more than 10 "well cooked" rice balls. The service sucks and the way that staff deal with the problem is terrible. read more

I come here very often and I absolutely love to signature icy taro product. If you add in rice balls, it's even more tasty. The employees there are very attentive and will answer all of your questions. 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a late night snack. The Cupertino location is opened until 10pm. The atmosphere is very lively and full of people. Definitely give it a try if you haven't. read more

Now THIS is a desert. Ive tried everything from shave ice to ice cream. And unfortunatly none of them hit the spot. PUTTING THEM TOGETHER, you get that nice freshness from the mango shave ice but then you getg that delicious creamyness from the ice cream. I would rate it 10/10 read more

I'm writing this review with a heavy heart because Meet Fresh used to be one of my favorite Taiwanese dessert shops growing up and my family loves this place. My friends and I were excited when this Portland store finally opened and have been going to the store regularly. They recently started delivering through Uber Eats and we ordered for the first time last night. And unfortunately, this is what happened... WE FOUND A SCREW IN ONE OF OUR ORDERS!!! The screw was in my mouth and I almost swallowed it thinking that it was a piece of ice. I also tried to chew on it before spitting it out. It was a disgusting experience and absolutely unacceptable. So I called the store immediately to notify them and asked for a full refund of the order. The store manager (James) apologized for the incident and mentioned that the screw on the ice shaver machine fell off a few times and they had to place it back previously. He offered a refund and asked if I could bring the screw back to the store. I said yes because I didn't want them to come pick up the part from my place (which is what he suggested) and I thought it was an important part of the machine for the store to operate. The next day, the store manager (James) suddenly changed his mind. He messaged me directly and claimed that the screw DID NOT come from their store and accused me of scamming them for money, which is ridiculous since I had no idea where I would even find a screw like this and they obviously put a replacement screw back on the machine and pretended it never happened. So I went to the store with the screw that I found in my order and asked them if I could compare it with the ones on the only ice shaver machine in the store AND THEY APPEARED TO BE IDENTICAL! As soon as the store manager (James) realized that they messed up, he started freaking out and told me to get out of the store and actually called the police to try to scare me away. I was speechless at this point and extremely disappointed that this is how they treat their customers. What if I was a child and actually swallowed the screw? This would have been a much bigger issue for them. They ended up still offering me a refund, but I'm saddened to say that I will never come back to this store again. They should've dealt with this incident more carefully and just owned up to the fact that they've made a mistake. Make sure you carefully examine whatever you order in case this happens again!!! read more

We did that once and the bowl was way out of balance, just trust their choices, plus you can only fit so much in one bowl so you're losing by adding. This family owned business does not even deserve 1 Star. I do not recommend this place. By far the worst customer service I experienced. My son and I were overwhelmed from the big menu selection and needed help. The guy behind the register (the owner) had his eyes on his IPhone the whole time and was not bothered that we needed his attention. He did not even look at us when my son and I asked for help, he just seems annoyed that we asked him questions. He had an ugly bad attitude towards us. He was rude, arrogant and raised his voice bc he was annoyed. Treated us with no respect. The desserts taste poor, cheap quality, not worth a penny you pay. The atmosphere is cold. Nobody smiles. Love!!! What a welcome addition to downtown Portland. Three of us shared the Double Taro Signature and Mini Q Tofu Pudding. I loved the gnocchi-like chewiness of the taro balls, which complemented the taro paste, ice cream and shaved ice so well. The tofu pudding was top notch, super refreshing in this summer heat. Service was friendly and efficient. There was a long line but moved quickly. We all know the Old Town area has been rough lately, and I commend Meet Fresh for taking a chance and helping to revitalize the area along with the dumpling place next door. read more

I was here last week and the service was slow and it wasnt busy with quite a few employees. We received two (double taro & milk tea) out of four items ordered and when I went up to cancel the other two (egg puff and mangoberry) items, the egg puff was just completed and they were barely starting up the mangoberry so we canceled it since we were finished with the double taro and ready to leave. The male kid who took our order could try to be a bit more happy about working there. Employees seem new since my refund was a teaching experience for them. The double taro was good but i think we got a huge portion of grass jelly. The egg puff was ehh..nothing to talk about. The basic boba milk tea is a pass. I missed having Meet Fresh since moving from CA to Portland so I was so stoked finding out there is a location here now. The desserts are still delicious as always but I was really disappointed with the service. You can only order from their screen, which is fine by me, but it does create a bit of a line. Also everything I ordered was made incorrectly. I ordered an add on of caramel pudding to my double taro signature dessert and didn't get it. My fluffy herbal grass jelly drink didn't come with the fluff either. They were really busy so I didn't bother to get my order fixed but it's just something to consider. read more

So glad we found this place!! We went on Friday late afternoon. It wasn't crowded so we were able to spend some time to look at menus. They have so many options to choose from, but hardest part was to pick just one because they all looked so delicious!! I'm super happy that Meet Fresh opened here!! Every dessert item I've tried so far has been very good and consistent with their other locations. My personal favorite is the taro ball grass jelly:) Although I do wish they'd pay more attention to getting the orders right. I've gone 4 times spread out in a span of a few weeks and every single time there has been some sort of mistake(Missing an item(twice), missing an add-on, adding full ice when I asked for no ice). For a vast chain like Meet Fresh, I'd expect solid training for the employees or a better system to ensure mistakes are limited. They are still new though so I'm sure they'll improve over time. read more

This place is an absolute delight! I've been on a few occasions now, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating to special requests. One of the things that can often be a hassle downtown is finding parking, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it isn't a problem at this location, and street parking has always been readily available nearby. The almond pudding and Q mochi were absolutely divine. The almond pudding was smooth, creamy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. Each spoonful was blissful, and I couldn't get enough of it. The Q mochi was equally impressive, with its soft, chewy texture and delightful flavors. It was the perfect combination of sweet and satisfying, leaving me craving more. read more
