I came here after work for some food and wanted to try some novel foods. Seeing the picture outside I decided to get the Thai tea boba milk bowl and a popcorns chicken salad that also looked interesting. The bowl I really enjoyed it consisted of what I'm guessing was a bottom layer of soft tofu and milk, then Thai milk tea with shaved ice and topped with black and clear boba with breadcrumbs. All these things I liked but in a combination I've never had. The salad on the other hand was not as good. It consisted of lettuce, cherry tomatoes, corn, apples and dressing topped with fried chicken drizzled with mustard. Personally the dressing that I'm guessing is an Italian dressing with the strong sourness needed to be balanced with something sweet but the apples slices were too scarce. The mustard on chicken was also a strange addition that didn't work well with the chicken or the salad. Finally, the chicken wasn't as crispy as I would like. Wow wow wow this place was delicious!! Probably the best drink I've tasted in a while. I love how this place is open so late - I went at around 1am and it was still crowded! The man at the register was kind and although a little hard to understand, he got our orders in quick. However, like the other reviews stated, be prepared to wait a little to get your drink. I ordered a frozen Strawberry drink (forgot the name) and it felt like I was sipping on a CLOUD. It was surprisingly a little tart and not too sweet which gave it a unique but amazing taste, and the texture was indescribable. I also got the Fries and it was huge. They gave us 2 little tiny fork sticks to eat it with and it wasn't the most practical thing... but was a fun experience picking out fries one by one. I am currently eating my snack order right this moment because I am so upset I cannot even swallow this food. It is so old, dry, and stale with excessive spicy seasoning!! I still had to wait when I arrived so I thought ok the food will be fresh made. So excited! I don't understand how this is made fresh but then when I get it, it looks like it's day old and overfried and oily with too much spice. Terrible terrible. I called in my order. I spoke English and so did the staff member I spoke with. I see now that the receipt shows MEDIUM SPICY which is wrong. I ordered MILD for all items but my combo snack was MEDIUM SPICY!! Kill us! I had to make a bowl of hot water to dip my food in to rinse off the crazy spice. This is so sad and ridiculous. The kids couldn't even enjoy it! So disappointed for my first time. Sigh. Came one Saturday night with my son who's one year old wanted to have a nice time, the place was pack with people but the server when we came inside told us that they were closed even though there closing time says 12am.. Keep in mind that people where in there sitting down and enjoying thier food the only difference between us and them sad to say this but they were Asian, now keep in mind I said to myself maybe they are really close and they weren't lying to us.... I had the most surreal experience at Meet Tea today. I ordered three drinks (two yogurt drinks and one milk tea). The young woman spilled one of the drinks and proceeded to wipe the counter for several minutes. Finally, I asked if we could have our drinks so we wouldn't be late for our movie. Instead of finishing our drinks, she said she needed to finish cleaning first, and grabbed a mop from the back, then mopped the floor very slowly. At this point, I felt like she was going to clean the whole store before finishing our drinks! We finally got our drinks without a word from her ....only to discover that none of them had yogurt or tea. I asked her if the yogurt drinks were yogurt and she said yes, although I had seen her pour water in those cups. My milk "tea" was milk and water. This was the worst and strangest service I've ever had. And also the worker used tap water to clean the dishes and I think that the tap water is not even clean. She also did not even clean her hands after touching the rag and mop before making the rest of our drinks. And she didn't clean the syrup cup either. read more

The short: Slow service and poor quality for the drinks I ordered. It took over 20 mins to complete our order despite there only being two people ahead of us on a slow Monday afternoon. Too much ice when I asked for light ice (more than half the cup was ice in both) for two large watermelon drinks. It totaled over $14 before the "discount" at checkout. The watermelon drinks tasted watered down or were not made with ripe watermelons. Might be a good place to study for some, but personally, would not come again for service or quality. The long: Came in late afternoon on a Monday around 4:40. There were a few couples studying in the back, so it seems like a place some people . I noticed that it's really quiet--no music, the TV is frozen, and the air feels a slightly cooler than room temperature but a little stale. There was one guy behind the counter making all the drinks and he didn't greet or smile or say much to anyone coming in. There were only two girls in front of us who finished ordering in about a minute on the kiosk since we walked in. We proceeded to order two watermelon juices and upped the sizes to large. I received a weird text (attached) telling me I would get my drink in 40 minutes despite there only being two people in the queue, but I was hoping it was just a really bad text system. Thankfully, he made it in about 20 minutes (still took some time), but the drinks came out bland and watered down in flavor, and more than half the cups were filled with ice despite asking for light ice. Tldr: Horrible customer service. Laughing about mistakes. Long wait for order. Order was messed up and workers forgot boba and put it in after, overfilling the cup. I don't usually review, but this experience was bad. I ordered an Oreo Smoothie. It was not until 10 mins later they told me they didn't have it. I asked for a different smoothie, but then they said they didn't have smoothies in general. So I ordered a Mango Yakult with Boba. Also, the worker wasn't able to input the drinks we wanted without us pointing out them out on the menu. The friends I went with got their order before me and their drinks didn't have boba. When they said they ordered boba, the workers said they didn't have any, but there were some on the table. After that was pointed out, the workers put it in their drinks overflowing it. Made the drinks spill if the cap was pushed down. Also, them refusing boba that was there makes me think they just did not want to make any smoothie drinks. It was not until 20 mins later, I went to the counter for my drink and they said they already gave it to us. There was back and forth and having to remind them I had to change my drink. They finally looked around and found it just sitting on the top of a shelf. I guess they forgot about it after making it since they never called me up. And even with the late order, they forgot the boba again and put it in on top. Also, the whole time we were waiting, the workers we just cracking jokes with each other and barely working on drinks, which made the wait time longer. I saw the brick toast desserts for this cafe and decided to visit, but what we got looked very different from the images. Instead of being assembled and on plates, the toast had the ingredients on the side and was one an inch thick like one slice. $7 for a small boba drink and $12 for a slice of bread with some topping is quite expensive for the size. The taste was okay but the presentation made it kind of unappetizing The wait for the drink was 20 minutes or more, the food took longer maybe 30 minutes at least. Other small details like the fire alarm battery beeping and restroom being messy with paper on the ground made the experience not very pleasant. read more

Great place to hang out at! Everything tasted delicious! Loved the Harry Potter drink the most since it tastes like Calpico and all the food was superb. The tofu was fresh and crunchy and all the food was pretty filling. We all had a great time and what's even great is that we all live close by, so we were all down to come back to hang out here again on our own time since it was a very casual chill place to catch up and they also had board games in the back of where I took pictures of the drinks. read more

Open much later than some of the other boba places in the area! Because of this there was a decent crowd and some time for our drinks and food to be ready (with lots of things being sold out, in particular 2-3 drinks I had lined up in my mind weren't available because they were icy/smoothie drinks, it was not longer available on the menu, or they didn't have the ingredients to make it), just know that there will be a wait! There's plentiful seating inside (most of it occupied though) and 2 tables outside. I believe that they've undergone a lot of interior aesthetic changes. It's much brighter and more modern in comparison to some of the older pictures seen on Yelp. There's a light sign for a photo op as well. I partly came here to get their cute bunny brick toast but it seems like it's no longer on the menu. Makes sense though since it's a huge serving that def takes longer to make. I got the: 1) Strawberry milk with pudding: -Simple drink. It's just milk with some strawberry jam sauce and their egg pudding. -Mixed together, it tastes a bit like melted ice cream with pudding. -Pretty sweet even with 75% sugar adjustment, so it was more of a dessert drink for me. I actually ended up keeping this for later on, mixed in some more milk and it was more to my taste (also technically giving me more "drink" lol). 2) Caramel Almond Honey Toast: -They took a lot of care in the packaging with whipped cream and the cookie straws on the side and a cup of vanilla ice cream too. -There was a swizzle of caramel and some almond slices on the toast. -It's Thrifty ice cream or an equivalent 100% , but not bad. -The toast was a bit subpar though, only the edges were toasted with the middle part just being completely un-toasted white toast. -I'd say skip their honey toasts, especially if it's something you can get at a different boba place. I don't mind giving this place a try again when they're better stocked (esp since they're open pretty late), but maybe I'll try something savory instead! read more

The pieces are huge, unflavorful, and not crunchy: the complete opposite of what popcorn chicken should be.
