This is a nail shop that I frequent. I haven't found a place yet that can perform the services the way that I like them. The vibe is relaxing. They have massage chairs with music playing in the background. I needed a pedicure, something serious, so I decided to go and pamper myself. The place is clean and the staff uses disposable tools. One thing that I will say is be specific about how you would like your nails and designs done. I'm pretty sure that they will be able to do it properly, but if you don't let them know, they will do it how they prefer. They also apply lashes and microblading. I was in dire need of a fill in. I was in the norcross area and needed a place that was open until 8pm because it was 7:20pm. I googled nail salons in the area and was able to find Mega Nails and Spa. They did such a great job! I may have to come back for my fill in. Me and my bf got pedicures. I of course got a fill in with my pedicure. I got something called solar nails about three weeks ago at a nail salon in Marietta and I wasn't sure how a fill in or and touch up should go. They were able to fill them in with no problem. The lady who did my nails did a great job with the coffin shape and she was finished in like twenty minutes. My pedicure was pretty decent too as well as my bf. Had to be good, he fell asleep while they were doing his pedicure. All in all a clean, quick and friendly staff. Really pretty establishment, but I need nail techs in general to stop taking customers' money if they know they're incapable of completing the design we ask for. I am severely disappointed in this. My birthday is tomorrow and it's already ruined. I wanted a shorter version of the design in the photo and was given the most ugly nails I've ever received. It looks nothing like what I asked for. There are also model hands up front that make you think they're able to pull off any design, but that's obviously just for show. The design is clearly done with a clear pink acrylic over a layer of black streaked polish. I should've known she wasn't capable of doing it when she applied a solid colored pink as a base. Very over priced here I got a gel mani and pedicure on Friday 10/9/20 here and it ended up costing $90-100 dollars just for me(mind you I've never paid this much ever in my life for a gel mani pedi) They have really good customer service and take there time (4 hours in total) but also change prices when customers are about to pay. I'm visiting from out of town and decided to give Mega a try, based on the reviews/pics on yelp. I went in this morning to get a fill-in and just regular polish and was very pleased! My tech was very meticulous and made sure to ask if everything was to my satisfaction every step along the way. I am very picky as I have been getting acrylic for YEARS so it's important to me that my nails look perfect. The owner even checked in a couple of times giving pointers when needed and made sure I was having a great experience. I would highly recommend this salon! I needed a fill after only 2 weeks from my last nail tech so I came here. No broken nails. The man tells me I need a new set. No I don't. I asked them if they could add some nail jewelry that I had brought in with me. They said yes. I had a photoshoot scheduled on a Monday, so that Sunday, I came in to get a gel polish change and then opted to do a full gel manicure instead. Before the evening was over, 2 nails started to peel off. I'm not sure if it was due to me getting a French manicure, but that shouldn't have happened. Monday I get to the shoot and more nails are peeling off and I'm not happy. I don't think to call them because #1 what are they going to tell me #2, I was already at the shoot, and #3, I was heading to Las Vegas the following day. The worst part of all of this is, my nails are weak, frail, and thin and they were NOT like that when I went in. I noticed that what the tech did in this instance (and no other instance there or elsewhere) was use a drill to get the old gel polish off after soaking them in acetone as opposed to scrapping it off as most nail tech's do. Then the nails all curved upwards and broke off here and there. Yesterday I couldn't peel an orange because my nails are so weak/soft. For this reason and this reason alone, I will NEVER go back there. I have no experience as a nail tech and count on the nail tech to exercise proper care, service, and expertise to their clients and in this case, that was not done. If I call a plumber, I expect them to be an expert in their field. If I'm in class, I expect the teacher to be experienced in their field. It shouldn't be any different for a nail tech. read more

As the pictures indicate my nails were chipping within a day from the lack of service and effort during the time of my visit. I came first time 2 weeks ago because my usual place was busy .Theday after I left my tip broke . I have an overlay and wear my ails short so this shouldn't have been the case . I came back and was told they would fix everything etc etc so as I'm sitting there he cuts my nails too short in which I have to get tips . Clearly their was a misunderstanding between overlay and fill even though he's a liscensed nail technician. Great salon! Went for my first time this past Sunday with my boyfriend; celebrating our 1 year anniversary. Every other salon in the area closed at 6 so we decided to try this new salon, as it stays open later. We both got pedicures and I got a full set. I did gel for both mani & pedi. Very sleek salon. They adjusted the heat so we would be comfortable, offered complimentary wine and did an awesome job on the set/pedi's!
