Very bad service and they didn't know what they were doing. They said we had bad plumbing , charged me $450.00 and didn't fix the problem. They wanted to open the wall and re do the plumbing for $785.00, I didn't agree. The Next day I had someone else come out and he fixed the problem in 15 minutes. Seemed like good prices and good reviews- they responded quickly. Confirmed appointment, never showed up- called them and they rescheduled. AGAIN, they Never showed up. TWICE. They show up on time, fix it quickly, and do it all on a holiday w a friendly customer service. Called at 2:45pm and was told that they would get ahold of the technician and I would be called. No call back, no show. Called again on Monday because I really needed my plumbing issue resolved. When my kitchen sink backed up, I called Mega Rooter. I spoke with Luis who said he would get someone to my house between 12 and 1pm. I was pleased. When no one showed by 1:20pm I called again. I was told someone else would be out. 25 mins later Alex showed up. He was courteous and seemed competent. He did some work that seemed to fix things, but I agreed to a hydro wash the next day at 9am. I was not given a price or est. At 9:05 the next day Alex texted that he was gathering equipment. At 9:45 he wasn't here. I texted again at 9:45am and asked if he was coming and if I didn't hear from him by 10am I would call someone else. He phoned and sounded like I awakened him. At 10:15 he arrived. He gave me an estimate for the previous day's work and hydro wash of over $700. At this point I can't say the work was poor, but I am not pleased with the service or the price. The toilet was clogging and water was running and then shower wouldn't drain. Then second bathroom started to bubble. I instantly started to have the sweats and panic attack. James was professional and courteous and super helpful! He diagnosed the issues and gave us the best solution and price and he went to work. I'm no time he cleared the issue.. Had a bursting water line under the house, I called Mega Rooter and they were here within an hour to fix my copper pipe quickly. They helped get me in touch with a dry specialist to avoid mold and wood rot. Luis (owner) even came out to assist the guys that were here and he was a cool guy, they all were. Miguel and Mega Rooter again have saved the day! Due to the flooding in my condo (see previous review), we discovered that the master bathroom shower drain pipe was extremely corroded and at risk of a major leak. It was a ticking time bomb and the owner of the unit right below me requested that I replace the pipe, something that homeowner insurance wouldn't cover at this time. I was happy to do it but also nervous of the cost and scope of the work required. The owner of the unit below contacted a plumbing company who came out and went on and on about how "big" the job was going to be and that I will have to find someone to cut a large hole near the drain in my shower in order for them to fully assess the situation. They refused to give me a quote until I do that. Ummm, no thank you! I am not destroying my shower and replacing the whole thing just to get a quote. I contacted Miguel instead and he was able to come out the very same day. He reassured me and my neighbor below that he would be able to replace the pipe without having to cut through my shower and none of the extra s*** that the other company was talking about. Both my toilets backed up and then I noticed a back up in the back yard, The sewer line was overflowing. I tried to have Mega Rooter snake the sewer lines, Old cast iron pipes. There was a major issue down 6 foot deep. They ran cameras to determine the issue. They dug it up and discovered the drain pipe had completely collapsed, it was so old. They used brand new technology and ran new sewer lines in a about day. I had water back in just a couple days. All was left so clean from all the major work done in my back and front yard. All at a great price and by a very nice professional team of guys that did the work. I highly recommend this company. And will use them in the future. Sue read more

Mega Rooter replaced my old cast iron sewer pipes, and overall I was pleased with their work. They were pleasant, easy to schedule with and showed up on time. However, I do have a few concerns: 1. On the day the project was originally set to begin, they showed up to start work without securing a permit first. Replacing pipes requires a city permit, and had I not asked about it I'm not sure it would have been done. This delayed the project for over a month while we waited on the paperwork. 2. I was told the pipe replacement would take 3-4 days, and during the pipe burst I would be without plumbing service for 4-6 hours. This seemed very reasonable. There were apparently some unforeseen complications with the project which resulted in it taking 7 days to complete. However, my biggest concern is that I was left without plumbing service for 3 days. I eventually had to check into a hotel in order to use the bathroom and take a shower. When I mentioned this upon settling the bill, I was asked why I had to check into a hotel. When I explained that I was left without plumbing for three days, I was told, "Oh, I didn't know that. The guys said you were okay with it." No one would ever be okay with being left unexpectedly without plumbing for that amount of time. Had I known ahead of time, I would have made other arrangements for a place to stay, but the only information I was given by the workmen each day was "a few more hours, a few more hours" until it was 8:30pm and they had to leave. It seems as though communication among the various workers throughout the week was incredibly lacking. I was also told (after the fact) that they are supposed to set up a temporary plumbing connection if they have to end the day without finishing the plumbing work. This never happened. Mega Rooter did cover the cost of the hotel stay, which I appreciated. read more

I had a major issue with my plumbing on 6/18/22 and had family over for Father's Day and I called and the gentlemen was very polite and so was the technician that came out. The response time was very quick and I called six other companies prior and there respond time was 6/19/22 or 6/20/22 bad service response from them. Tony the technician was very polite and very respectful is employees like this that makes Mega Rooter Plumbing a great company. I HATE posting this review... but I called yesterday and made an apt for today 9-10am. Gave them all my info of the apt. No one showed up. I called at 11am and they said they had no record of me for an apt. It was the same person I talked to yesterday ... I asked if they had anyone available and they said yes we have some guys sitting around and can send someone out now. I asked for 1pm so would be between my work meetings. They said yes and texted me that someone would come between 1-3pm. It's 335pm. No one showed up. I had to leave for a work apt. Called him at 4:30 to ask when he'd be here. No answer. Called business and they were surprised he wasn't here. They said they'd contact him. Again no call to me. So I called business again and they said he couldn't make it after all and they didn't know that. they offered to send someone else but it would take another hour or more in I5 traffic.
