Truly a great place to visit if you like quick bites and are curious about the interesting décor around the restaurant. Filled with computer parts and old 2000's pieces of technology it's like you are going back in time. It's honestly a shock to me that looking at these items are over 20+ years old. There's also a coffee bar where you can also get coffee but it was closed by the time I got there. I came here to get breakfast but by the time I arrived it was almost closing time. That is unfortunately my own fault as I left the house thinking I'd make it on time to get breakfast. The lady at the counter did offer me to make a Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi instead and I said yes why not. After I got my Banh Mi I ended up eating in a parking lot as they were closing shop. The Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi is loaded with everything you'd want in a sandwich. Carrots, Daikon, Cucumber, Cilantro, Lemongrass Chicken all on a nice beautiful baguette that it's served in. This is worth the price and honestly worth coming back for. I will probably add a fried egg to see if it enhances the sandwich!

TLDR: Great lunch spot! Plenty of tasty options at decent prices. Come for their lunch special. Vibe: 4/5. Megabytes is tucked away in a small business park close to the Dulles Expo Center. Inside, the cafe functions as a counter service style restaurant, where you can order directly at the counter with the staff or on tablets located at the counter. They have a decent amount of seating, consisting of both 2 and 4 top tables, so larger groups can be accommodated. Separate from the main lunch kitchen counter is a coffee bar, where you can order such drinks as Vietnamese coffee and various lattes. Lots of fun video game decor can be seen throughout the space, with a few game consoles setup on the side for those that want to hit the sticks after lunch. Restrooms are shared with the rest of the office space, so you have to exit Megabytes and walk down a hallway to find them. Service: 5/5. The staff at Megabytes was very accommodating and helpful from start to finish. When I first arrived, I was a bit confused about the ordering system ie. whether I order at the tablet or with a staff member. This was quickly remedied by one of the staff members explaining I could do either and that my order would be called out and brought to my table when ready. They also made sure to recommend the lunch special, which is well priced and offers diners a bento box style of their top sellers. The helpfulness from the staff made for an overall better experience! Food: 4/5. My table of 2 had a fantastic lunch. I ordered the pork banh mi, which comes with all the typical banh mi fixings on a crunchy baguette. The banhi was of decent size and checked all of the banh mi boxes with tender pork, rich pate and tasty pickled veggies. My friend ordered the loco moco lunch special, which includes a serving of loco moco, a spam musubi and a side of macaroni salad for $12. This was a superb deal, as the portion sizes were generous for the cost. My friend said everything tasted great and highly recommended it. We also ordered spicy pork fries to share, which were tasty, however I felt the fries portion was lacking for the $10 price tag. Overall, Megabytes is a solid lunch spot that is a perfect place to grab a quick *byte* before heading back to the office!

My best friend brought me here on a lunch date and the Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi sandwich was awesome for me. I brought my dad in that same week, we both killed the house + lemongrass, and I got to hear a story about dad eating these kind of foods in Vietnam before he became a refugee. I am slowly introducing more people to this place--my buddies are going to love this uniquely fun museum-like interior more than i do (I specialize in eating, not in motherboards). Service is down to earth and welcoming, clearly everyone enjoys their craft. +++ Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi + House Pork Banh Mi (adding a fried egg for moisture is super worth it)

One of our favorite places to eat when we have off during the week! Finally remembered to take pics before we started eating. Food gets out quick, the workers are super helpful and friendly, and I've never been disappointed in my order. My go-to order is the lemongrass chicken banh mi, but I tried the loco moco combo this time and the gravy combined so well with the egg, burger, and rice! We initially came here for the video game theming, but the food has kept us coming back.

After seeing all the good reviews for MegaBytes - I thought it was high time for a visit! Stopped in on a Friday morning around 10:00 am for breakfast - the place was close to full seating-wise. After looking over the menu - I opted for their Sausage gravy and biscuits - topped with an egg. It comes with one slice of bacon - so I added a side order of bacon to go with it. And a bottle of water. Paid with Apple Pay. They bring your food out to you when it's ready. I advised that I was "eating in" - but the food was still presented in a to-go container. Sausage gravy was good, egg was cooked perfectly - and the bacon was crispy and delicious! I like all the computer/video game tech decor all over the place: Old logic boards, video cards, processors, video game hardware, old video displays, etc. Service was good! I will be back to try out their breakfast burritos! #MegaBytesEatery

This place is paradise for the bottled beverage enthusiast. I've never seen so many unrecognizable beverages at one time. Tried the orange ginger ale and thought it was good, of course the sugar content guaranteed it, but there are healthier options too (see pics). Sandwiches we tried are the lemongrass banh mi, steak and cheese, spicy chx and teriyaki chx tacos. Recommend the tacos and the banh mi. The steak and cheese is nothing to write about. He said the spicy chx was good in a different way. Everyone was pleasant and oh yea, there's Mario bros to play. Overall decent lunch spot.

I've been going to Megabytes since 2015. Eventually, this unique cafe would become a place where my dad and I and eventually my daughter and I would come to leave behind the stressors of the world. Whether it be work, the pandemic, or politics, this would be the place where we would go to become kids again. It helps to have the best poutine in town as well as this ridiculously delicious deep fried pancake sandwich with perfectly cooked spam and a fried egg. Combine that with the calm and casual ambiance and the availability of retro video games from NES to N64. Since 2017, my dad would always gravitate towards the PS2 drum set. Every time I took him there, he would "practice his drums" up until this year. My dad died last month at the age of 91. One of the lessons he taught me is to always make time to play no matter how busy or crazy the world gets. I guess that's why this delicious little spot in Chantilly is so important to the community here. I'm proud to be a part of it.

Great lunch and breakfast place, there's a lot of options, Sandwiches Burritos Quesedillas Tacos and couple more Combos. Great Banh Mi, Bacon Bomb is Service has always been great, get ready to wait during lunch, they make everything to order so it takes a little while. P.S : Don't forget to ask for the chili oil

I realized when I got to the car they gave me a cold sandwich. So I went back in and nicely said excuse me this was supposed to be hot. He immediately said, no you didn't say hot. I said yes I did. He says no you didn't. I say it was literally the first word out of my mouth" (it was also my last word.) He continued to tell me I didn't say it offering zero customer service. When I was about to lose my cool, I turned around and said fine I'll just heat it up myself at home. I feel as though he should've said I didn't hear you say that, but if you would like it hot, let me throw it in the oven for you. I wasn't asking for a brand new sandwich. I was just asking for an hot one. Instead, he had a complete attitude and was trying to embarrass me in front of his customers and talked crap to the customers as I walked out the door stating I didn't say that. That is the most disgusting, poor example of what customer service should look like. I love the food, but sadly, I'll never give him another dollar.

My…read morereception isn't always perfect so I calmly repeated my order a few times, in a slower variation each time. I'm assuming the lady got upset and gave up, hanging the phone up on my while I was mid-sentence. I called back immediately thinking it was a dropped call, and no one picked up the phone after MANY rings. Finally, the phone was answered by a man this time, who understood my order fine and got me set up. Cool! I was a little thrown off with getting hung up on, but it was no biggie (I know how things are with COVID, and i'm generally a compassionate person, hence this being the first time i'm writing a negative review). I'm not sure if they record their own calls or not, but if they do, then it will prove my case. When I arrived to get the food, I gave a warm greeting and was met with angry/judgmental stares from the two people working there (and they let me stand in line in an empty deli without asking me if I needed help for a good 4 minutes). They didn't speak a word other than repeating my order to me to clarify I was picking it up. Whatever, it was not ideal customer service but I wasn't going to get in my feelings about it. When I finally sat down in my car to eat my food, I must say it was one of the worst variants of this food item that I have ever had in my life. And it's a simple one, which puzzled me on how it tasted so foul. There was a protruding odor coming from the food item that just didn't smell right. When I took a bite, it was extremely disgusting and I had to spit it out. Ever since then, i've been thinking about the possibility of my food being tampered with (since this is a small deli and not some big chain establishment) and I really really hope it wasn't the case, but there's just no reason for a food item like that to be as disgusting as it was. I am giving 2 stars because I don't have it in my heart to give this small deli 1 star, especially during a pandemic. They were not busy at the time, so there's really no excuse as to why I was treated so poorly. I was a first-time customer, and will never be stepping foot in there ever again. The food taste/smell will remain a mystery I presume, as nobody would ever admit to such a thing even if they did do it.
