I have been taking my kids there since 2008 and I had had excellent service until I realized that the billing was completely incorrect. When I asked to get it checked and audited they try to come back at me for something they say I didn't pay for in 2013 and we are now in 2019. I know for a fact that every time I leave that place I don't leave until I pay for it. It's really sad that we had to end our relationship that way especially since I've given them my business for over 10 years. Was this really worth $400?? Probably not. Found a new place. Beware of the suggested selling of services that you might not need. Went to this location because of the close proximity of my house. Dentists were nice enough, but felt constant pressure to buy services from the very first visit, with all types of laser treatments, replacements of crowns, and whitenings and other treatments that my insurance didn't cover, or covered very little of the total cost. Was not referred to this place by anybody, which probably was a mistake. It felt like a high-pressure timeshare sales presentation, so much so that I wonder if the dentists who work there have quotas to fill. The dentists would suggest treatments, and then have their office manager visit with you to "close" the deal. Walked in one day and the entire front-office staff had been replaced with new people. After a few months, decided to try another dentist that that was recommend to me by a friend, and surprise, surprise, none of the treatments recommended by the first dentist were needed. Like a good car mechanic, a good and honest dentist is worth their weight in gold. They still call once in a while to schedule an appointment, but even after telling them I've moved on, they still persist. read more

After waiting in the lobby for around ten minutes I waited in the chair after getting x rays for quite some time! I was waiting for an hour. I got to say I was quite surprised to read the negative reviews. My wife and I have both been coming to this dental office for years. The people here are always so friendly. They accept my dental insurance so I really can't comment on there pricing, $5 copayment for me and I'm out. X-rays and cleanings every 6 months. I actually came here because another dentist across the street told me I had 3 cavities. I found that to be a little skeptical since I hadn't had a cavity in over 20 years. Imperial Dentist which also goes by Mehta Dental group can not be trusted when it comes to their pricing for any procedures from sealants to extractions. I have been quoted an excess amount above the fee schedule they are to follow by my insurance company on several occasions. They were charging me for my daughter sealants which I thought were covered by my insurance company but the "billing" person came into the room and told me she verified with my insurance and it wasn't covered. I called my insurance, and as I thought they were covered and the office adjusted the cost of that visit. The office was also charging my husband for a certain type of cleaning which was also covered by my insurance which the office said they verified and was denied by my insurance. I again had to call my insurance company which they confirmed was a covered benefit and that cost of the visit was adjusted. A couple years back my eldest daughter had to have some teeth extracted and the office wanted to charge me $110.00 per an extraction with a 5% discount. I end up taking her elsewhere to have this done and was only charged $3.00 and $8.00 because it was a covered benefit. Just recently, as of August 2nd, my youngest daughter had to have some teeth extracted and we decided to have them extracted at this office because my youngest felt comfortable with Dr. B. This end up being a traumatic experience for her and he was only able to extract 2. I took her elsewhere to extract the other 2 and was only charged a total of $16.00 for two extractions. I was charged $220.00 for the two extractions for an 11 year old at Imperial Dentist/Mehta Dental Group done weeks before. I called the dentist and explained to them I was over charged and how much I was charged at the dentist I was at. The new office verified the two extracted at Imperial/Mehta Dental were covered by my insurance. The front office staff is difficult to deal with and Imperial Dentist/Mehta Dental would not reimburse and kept saying it was not a covered benefit which clearly it was. Imperial Dentist/Mehta Dental use codes that they know will not be covered. This is cheating out the customer and I feel like they've robbed me and mislead me to think my insurance is not covering the services. This dentist office is purposely coding services in ways they know will not be covered and denied. I have literally walked in with a fee schedule in the past and had to check against it to make sure I was being charged correctly. If I wouldn't have done this I would have many more scenarios to include in this review. I have asked for Dr. B to call and discuss this matter since it seems he is aware of the coding by the fact that I'm always told they would have to ask him in order to approve a 5% discount. As of today, Dr. B has not been in contact with me. I do have to say my kids have been seeing Dr. B since they were 4 years old (7 and 10 years total) and he has made them feel comfortable with having to see the dentist. Not just over $220.00, but the fact that I can't trust this dentist office it has resulted in them losing 5 clients who have been loyal to this office for over 10 years despite the back and forth with their billing. read more

My monthly statements don't add up, they deducted the payment of $250.00 from my bank but my dental statement reads that I only paid $200.00. Watch the billing!!! read more

First time visiting & the staff was extremely friendly & make you feel very welcome It wasn't like other dental offices where they have talk waiting forever They attended to me at the very time of my appointment. They are very professional & up to date. I really liked that they take pictures of your teeth to show you & have a better understanding of what is going on in your mouth that you're not able to see Overall it was a great visit & I never thought I'd say this but I cant wait to go back to the dentist! Easy 5 star review. From day one which happened to be the same day I made the appointment they had me scheduled to come in. No waiting, or screaming kids. They were polite and went over the top with what I had expected. Julie the dental assistant worked so patiently with my high anxiety and suffer from dentophobia. I was also given a dental plan of what was going to be done over the course of 6 months. It's a family own businesses and has that comfortable feel to it. This is the best dental office I've ever been to and I've been to dozens. I'm that patient that gets kicked out because they don't like dentists which only reinforces the problem this has not happened to me here and I've been going here a few years. Everyone has changed the way they work to accommodate my fears of the dentist and any dental work being done they work with me babe take breaks if I need a break they let me go at the pace that I'm comfortable with not just try to rush me through and get to the next customer to get an extra buck they really care about the people that they are taken care of and they care about your teeth and the quality that your teeth are going to have for the rest of your life. I really hate dental work but I've been above average happy with these folks. Like a high B+ or a low A- if it were a school grade. There is no such thing as a solid A or A+ dentist in my world... The female dentist I see here only works on Monday and Friday. She's gentle, kind and accommodating to my needs. The staff is warm and friendly, the office is clean, the first time I called they got me in the same day. Waiting room has never been more than a few minutes tops. While I don't love the prices and I'll never love having needles and drills in my mouth I do highly recommend my very professional dentist. read more
