Leaking sink for more than two weeks. See review
    Ed G.

Late in the evening, almost 3 weeks ago, I used the west end men's restroom at this Meijer's and found it trashed with the toilet seat destroyed, laying on the floor and it's bolts scattered on the floor as well. Feces and used toilet paper were laying on the floor, laying across the toilet and feces wiped around as well. I immediately notified the greeter nearby to notify the management, and he said they've known about it for a couple weeks now and haven't done anything about it. I mentioned that it's a health hazard and the stall should be locked or secured in some way until repairs are made. The greeter directed me to to east entrance where the bathroom is located. I told him the electric sliding doors were deactivated. He told me that they were turned off but not locked on the inside and to just push them apart to access the restroom down at the east end. I did so. Twice, a week apart since then, I've returned to the same store and found the same restroom toilet seat in attached but, at least somewhat sanitary. However, the right hand sink still is leaking and draining into the floor drain just inside the toilet stall. What on earth is going on with management at this Meijer's location?!! They carry toilet seats in the store. What's so hard about grabbing one and installing it. It doesn't take too many brain cells to do a simple install!! Maybe Meijer's corporate needs to take a look at this location. SMH...

Bugs in a brand new bag of flour

I was disgusted to open a brand new bag of flour and find it was riddled with bugs. Is it worth it to drive 20 minutes back to the store and wait in a huge line for a refund of few dollars? I hate you Meijer.

Doesn't look like the usual Red target that I'm used to. I stopped by to look for several items for our store. A small space microwave, toaster oven, trivet, oven mitts and pads, utensil caddy, tongs, spatula, 3M hooks for hanging items in the kitchen and break room area on the wall and whatever other items I could think of that might be good for our break. I wanted the Black and Decker microwave, but they had none, so I ended up with the Kenmore instead. Although I wasn't able to find the coffee maker pad, I was looking for or the utensil caddy. I'm hoping I can improvise with other items instead. $260 later. I got just about everything on my buy list.

I arrived at Walmart around 2:46 PM, quickly grabbed a phone charger, and stood in line at the electronics register behind another customer. After waiting in line patiently, the cashier waited until it was finally my turn to inform me, "Oh, you can take that up front. He just had something locked." This meant I had to walk all the way to the front of the store again and check out there, which defeated the purpose of waiting in the electronics line. The issue isn't the direction to pay upfront -- it's the lack of proactive communication and customer consideration. If the cashier had simply informed me before I waited, I could have avoided unnecessary delay while already pressed for time. Customer service means being clear, helpful, and considerate. A simple statement like, "you can pay for that up front so you don't have to wait here," would have saved time and shown professionalism and courtesy. I am submitting this because I believe customer service training in awareness and communication would greatly improve customer experience. I wasn't asking for convenience, just basic courtesy. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Colleena Hernandez

Particularly, Duluth Trading Co overalls. The pockets (so many!)! The comfort! The cute patterns! The flattering cut! The durability! The fit! Did I mention the pockets?? I did a count the other day and, uhmmm. I think I have a dozen of their bibs. Yes, I'm aware it's a problem. But I have so many different needs! One waterproof-ish one that I got for my trip to Zion and worked perfectly for my river hike through the Narrows, several pairs of heirloom gardening style in long pants and shorts, some solid colors as well as a few of the more whimsical patterns, etc. One denim, a few more "fashionable" varieties, etc. Dirt, clay, all of it just dust right off. They're so good, you guys! The heirloom bibs in particular are worth every penny but they have so many amazing sales and markdowns you'd be silly to pay full price. One day I was in my pottery class. Our classroom has a huge window that faces the street and people like to stop by and watch the potters in action. I was wearing a pair of my heirlooms (as per usual) and a guy came in off the street, peeked his head in the door, pointed at me, and said, "I know you are so comfortable right now!" And without a beat I said, "Duluth?" and he said "Heirloom" and the we laughed together then spent a solid 5 minutes talking about how great they are and convincing everyone in my class that they need a pair. Talk about an IYKYK moment! (Duluth, seriously, call me. I'd make a great spokesperson). My family has teased me over the last few years as I've acquired more and more but I'll tell you what, when I was walking around a rainy Greenfield Village H'alloween event I stayed nice and warm in my waterproof overalls, with the front pocket that perfectly housed my apple cider which I could easily sip through a straw, keeping my hands free for other uses. Anyway, my aunt watches me managing this outing with ease and says, "you know, maybe I should get a pair..." (she mocked me for my fanny pack 6 years ago too and look at where we are now!) Winning hearts and minds, y'all! Anyway, yesterday I went in and added 2 more shorteralls to my collection. One covered in small mushrooms and the other, a bright green succulent pattern. Both were heavily marked down so at least I'm strategic when it comes to my addiction?

The universe was screaming that it was time and not to procrastinate any longer. The owner, Koko was phenomenal. He greets you with a smile and makes you feel comfortable right from the start. We visited the shop for SAS Trunk Show this weekend and walked away disappointed and dissatisfied. Staff was rude to customers, each other and the SAS Rep. Both my husband and I knew which styles and sizes we were after, having worn SAS for years. I was told by the store salesman that if I ordered my size and is was not correct I was "stuck with them." The rep said they were returnable. The staff member argued with him. Really! Take it into the stock room. We wanted to purchase at the Trunk Show to save $15 each pair. At $140 - $180 average, it is a good deal. I witnessed one staff chastising another for not following up on a phone order since the customer was calling again "chomping at the bit". My husband picked out a style in the men's section, only to find women's stock in the boxes. Not surprising, it is s little disorganized. Instead of our 2 or 3 pair order, we left empty handed. I had a quick word with the rep and explained that we refuse to order from the store, as we do not want to deal with the rudeness. I realize the discount was for the trunk show, but we prefer to order direct from SAS. I intend to call them Monday in San Antonio to talk about this issue. This store is a poor representation of a great product. This is an American manufacturer that should be supported. I felt bad for the rep. He was stuck there all day. Take my advice, The Shoe Store in Brighton and on M59 carry SAS. Go there. From experience, I can vouch that staff at Brighton are friendly and helpful. What a contrast to Hershey's. They must not value customers. Sadly, during a trunk show, it was not busy. That says something. Sorry Hershey's, you are a disgrace. I notice you are hiring.
