On my way to his house to work on some pre-funeral things, I noticed the car was driving a bit weirdly. While it was a bit early for my oil change, my car is getting older and I've lately had to get my oil change earlier. Avon is right on the way. So, on the way home from a day of processing belongings and dealing with paperwork I opted to stop in for an oil change. I pulled in behind a car that was already in the bay. This is a two-bay center. To be honest, we were initially looking at a 4-star review. I wasn't initially greeted upon arrival and waited a few minutes. After the car in front was finished, I was motioned in. However, as my visit continued it began to improve quite a bit. I dealt with two employees - not sure of names - a young female (Trinity is on the receipt) and a male. Both were quite friendly and professional. I got the conventional oil change. I had a coupon. I also ended up getting the cabin air filter replaced and two tag lights. I didn't feel pressured. In fact, while a serpentine belt was recommended they didn't have a certified tech for that when I arrived. The visit took longer than usual. They were thorough and had difficulty putting the tag lights back as the bolts had rusted a bit. They also were attempting to reset my oil service light (receipt says this was complete; it wasn't. They couldn't actually figure it out as my 2012 Kia is rather unique. However, I was impressed with how much effort they put into it.). The level of service convinces me to up this to a 5-star review. Yes, there were minor issues. However, I feel these were overcome with quality service, fair pricing (including discounts), and a car that was running much better when I left than when I got there. Ultimately, I was pleased. While I do prefer to get a greeting when I arrive, once the service started everything was stellar and I'm sticking with a 5-star review.

I've never had a problem before, so this was surprising. Honestly, it came across as a lazy mindset rather than a real issue. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

The oil filter was a oil filter that had been put on 49,000 miles ago by jiffy lube. Showed me the serial number and explained that they are the only ones that Cary that type of filter and pulled up the serial number and showed me when it was installed. Heads up. Next time you get a oil change verify that they change the filter. They said even the oil didn't even appear to have been changed. I saw it I was like sludge. The car illy has 72,000 miles on it. I'm so glad I picked this jiffy lube. By Lowe's in Avon. The manager and all crew very nice and professional Thank you guys and young lady. The only thing I would have to save is for the oil I use it was a lil pricey. But for the info I got this go around it was worth it.

Next day I brought it in for the service & the charge had changed to $167 & change. I still had them do the service. Then when I drove my truck after picking it up, the oil pressure guage stayed pinned to the top & stays that way now when the truck is running. Turns out the oil pressure sensor quit working during/after they did the oil change. When I took it back to them to fix what broke on their watch, they said it would cost me $300 + tax for them to fix it. They wouldn't work with me on price. I've owned GM's my whole life & never had this problem. I normally change my own oil but due to a hand injury and surgery I needed it done by a shop and Tires Plus is less than a 1/2 mile from my house. So that's where I took it. My mistake in hindsight. They have an overall 2 star rating for a reason I guess. I'm definitely far from a satisfied customer. I called corporate & filed a claim, they're supposed to get back to me within 48 hours with a solution. We'll see. Also while I was waiting a customer came in who had just had their brakes done & they were complaining that their brakes were going to the floor & not stopping the vehicle. How terrible is this place? Avoid this Tires Plus and go elsewhere, I'll never take a vehicle to these sub-par "mechanics" ever again. Zero stars, if that was an option. Merry Christmas everyone!

Within a couple minutes, Will knew what the issue was, and we were able to go down to the auto parts store and purchase everything we needed for under $20. He was able to get the car running in less than an hour and went above and beyond to make modifications to one part I bought (battery bracket) because the store didn't have the exact type we needed. Will's work was pristine. I cannot say enough about how great of an experience this was. He is also very kind and pleasant! Additionally, I would like to note that he performed all repairs that were requested, he arrived within 25 minutes of my call, on a Sunday, in the snow, and had everything done within an hour (part of this hour was him waiting on my trip to the auto parts store!). This will be the only person I call for any mechanic needs. I've shared his contact info with my family and recommend him to everyone! I've dealt with several mobile mechanics in the Indy area and can say Will is obviously and by far the most knowledgeable, honest, and gets straight to the resolution of the issue. Thank you so much, I feel better knowing my son's car is working -- and that he can call you if he runs into any other problems. :)

This is one of the few touchless automatic car washes in the Indy metro area. As such, there was…read morea long line (4 vehicles) ahead of me in line. That may not seem too bad, but each wash cycle takes about 5 minutes (or longer depending on what type of wash is purchased). The whole process is self-service so you never interact with an attendant (unless you have an issue with the payment kiosk in which case you can wave down one of the employees to help you). A basic wash and dry is $13. Tip: Download the UWash app and register your phone number to get a free basic wash. When you pull up to the kiosk, you choose your car wash a d pay using a credit card, cash, or scan a QR code (if you have the UWash app). The green up arrow tells you when to pull forward into the wash bay. A red X tells you when to stop. If you pull up too far, a green down arrow tells you to back up. I had the basic wash and dry (because it was my 1st time here and I had the app) so it took about 5 minutes total. 4 minutes of rinse, soap, and wash. The last 1 minute is the dry cycle (you drive slowly through the dryers as you are pulling out of the bay). There's a timer that tells you how long the dry cycle is so you can figure out how slowly to drive out to get your whole vehicle dry from front to back. It was night so I couldn't really tell how good a job the basic wash did, but it seemed alright when I looked at my car when I got home. I just wanted to get the road salt off (there was a big winter storm a few days ago) and it did a great job of that. I would have tried some of the more expensive car wash cycles if I didn't have that free wash at the time. The deluxe $19 wash has a bunch of goodies like under underbody wash (as you enter the bay), clear coat protection, ceramic wax, etc.

However, they neglected to find these obvious issues. Keep in mind I was told before service and after that they top off what needs to be topped off. 1. Radiator coolant was at the minimum before service. The radiator coolant remained at the minimum after service. They topped it off after I pointed it out, but I shouldn't have to. 2. Antifreeze was at the minimum going in and is still at the minimum. I will be topping it off before going to another dealership to have it flushed out and replaced. 3. They mentioned they checked the engine air filter and it was fine. Upon inspection at home, the dust on the air filter cover was undisturbed showing they had not touched it. Upon inspecting the air filter, it was painfully clear that it was not checked and was desperately needing replaced. A picture is provided. 4. They mentioned the cabin air filter was also checked and was fine. After removing the filter, it was clearly evident that it wasn't checked as it was disgusting. A picture is provided. I don't know if it's because they lost their master mechanic (what they told me) so it's inexperience, or if it was laziness, or a scam, but they have lost all my trust and I will never go there again. I will be going elsewhere for another inspection to see what else was missed.

Knowing that they were undamaged prior to the service I got, I went to talk to them. I spoke with Ken. He looked at my wheels then said "I'll have someone come out and fix them". He then told me he would set up an appointment with me within the next few days. As soon as I left he went and spoke with my uncle, a mechanic for the company, and said he would NOT be fixing the damage on my wheels. After not hearing from Ken for another week I went back to Indy Tire to speak with him again. This time he said the damaged wasn't caused by them. After arguing with him for a bit to no avail, he threatened to take the financing off of my tires, a cowardly move. This is after he'd already told me that he would fix the problem. This "manager" couldn't even call me to tell me this. After yet ANOTHER week, now more than two weeks after I noticed the damage, he offers to split the cost with me. He expected me to pay for damage that they caused. This is an absolutely TERRIBLE branch of the Indy Tire company. I don't think they represent Indy Tire the way that it should be. Do not go here. Under any circumstances. I went to the Indy Tire in Avon and also the one in Carmel the service was excellent! Great people work here. Ken at 30th and Post is a complete idiot.
