I know when trying out a new place I'm always researching to find the best people there, so I figured I'd spread the love. The front desk is so professional and courteous, they call if your waxer is out sick with plenty of notice, they're quick to answer and so kind! I've been coming here for three years, Morgan was the absolute best but ended up moving last year so I've been hopping from waxer to waxer and while everyone is great, I'm now sticking with Leticia. Things I get done are Brazilian(monthly), eyebrow(2/3x per year), upper lip(once a year..maybe). I've been doing Brazilians with Leticia and while I was a little scared to do my eyebrows (traumatized from past waxers and threaders), she did amazing and cleaned them up exactly how I wanted and didn't go too thin. Not all EWCs are the same, trust me on that,(9 years going to EWCs in three different states and multiple cities) but this one takes the cake! Front desk, waxers, cleanliness, ease of scheduling (and rescheduling), EWC Allen is all around amazing! (Arelle also comes highly recommended for eyebrow waxing but I personally haven't tried her out yet).

But the door to the building was locked -- you have to go up the stairs in the back, there isn't another way in to the spa suites. I was standing out in the rain for a minute waiting for someone to let me in. Thankfully, one of the girls in one of the suites had just arrived and unlocked the door. What was interesting is that she was the first one there. Like she had to disarm the alarm and turn on all the lights in the waiting area. For a 10am wax appointment, I found this odd. Doesn't your wax have to heat up? I was trying to give Tonayia the benefit of the doubt....Lord knows emergencies happen. I waited nearly 20 minutes and tried calling Tonayia's 972 # that's on her confirmation email. It's the same # that's listed in her Yelp posting, too. What was weird was that the phone didn't ring. I just got a message stating that this number wasn't accepting phone calls. No way to leave a message. So I emailed her by responding to her confirmation to tell her I was leaving. At this point, I had been waiting over 20 minutes with zero communication. Again, I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. I have a small business and I know things happen. But 2 1/2 days later, still no response to my email. There's nothing worse than when someone wastes your time. If she does go into business again, I'd highly suggest calling before you head to your appointment to make sure that she's really in the office. Fortunately, Peace Love Wax in Plano (who has a no tipping policy) was able to get me in the same day. I'd suggest going there instead.

Immediately felt like walking in to inquire would be an intrusion and was looking to add any conflict to my plate. I get that sometimes there is downtime, but it shouldn't look that obvious. That lady left me in so much pain and it was a terrible experience. So I switched locations and went here instead. So grateful that I got Camila for my waxing. She was thorough and quick and it was nowhere even close to the amount of pain that I experienced last month. If you're concerned about the pain, I highly recommend you see her.
