Not all Mellow Mushrooms are created equal- they are franchised, and some are definitely better than others. This one is one of the best ones I have ver been to. My mother and I supported this establishment every week. Even going to the lengths of tipping employees when they would get orders wrong. Last Wednesday my mother tried calling to place an order and was on hold for ten minutes. When my mom walked in she realized there were no customers to be attended to and stated she was on hold CHAD the server responded by saying "we're too busy" in an aggressive way to which my mother responded "you don't say that to a customer." CHAD responds by saying "you're getting loud" which lead to "you have a attitude" then saying she has a "smart mouth". I will say the black male manager stepped in. However these micro aggressions that this WHITE server used is disgusting and represents the company and Paulding county racist as a whole. Anyone who knows my mother knows she doesn't even speak loud but because my mother is black that's the only thing CHAD could respond with he was completely rude he even shrugged his shoulders and laughed. The week prior to this my mom came in to get a pizza replacement for them messing up the week before they couldn't even get the order right 2 times and even claimed something was in the bag that wasn't. As you notice we've given this place too much support and chances. Will never purchase from this establishment again better food places in COBB county to support. read more

This place makes some gooooooood pizza. I enjoy the Maui wowie and the kosmic karma. These pizza's are delicious. The artichoke dip and the hummus are excellent appetizers. The usual cheese and cheese with pepperoni pizza are also delicious. The supreme pizza is also very tasty. The staff are usually very attentive and will not leave you hanging in need of beverages. The waitress' are usually pretty attractive as well. You cant complain about that! read more

My daughter and I ordered a large cheese pizza, it took 30 min to come out... it was under cooked, the waitress offered to put the pizza back in the oven and gave us an additional small pizza to make up for it.. the dough was off and did not taste good at all, she finally told us that the dough contained molasses... ??? Do not get their lunch special pizza slices or just a cheese pizza. Absolutely terrible pizza. It seems as though they slightly heat up some precooked pizza for their lunch special slices or only cheese pizzas. It has been this way for years. This is not an anomaly. Sometimes the service there is terrible as well. Today it took 30 minutes to get a terrible cheese pizza and then it takes another 30 minutes to get your check when done eating. Only go there if you have 1.5 hours to blow for lunch and you want bad lunch special pizza. read more

First off service was great. Our server gave great service and was very attentive to our table. The bad part of this visit was the length of our stay. We ordered salads and pizza. We waited, and waited, and waited. Finally 40 mins later we got our pizzas, but still no salads. 10 more minutes, our salads came. We had no visit from a manager, the server apologized and did the best he could to make our visit pleasant. We got out bill and paid for everything over $100.00 for the. meal. Finally, the manager came over to the table and asked how our 2 hour visit was, we let her know about our experience and she says "we where backed up" and walks away. That's a bunch a BS because we watched every table around us turn at least once since we where there. I would think hard about the manager running your business. Pizza was great. read more

I love the pizza and Jerk Chicken Sandwich but the last 3 times our food took forever and they messed up the order the last 2 times. I understood the first 2 times but the 3rd time our food took forever and there was only one other couple in the restaurant. Enjoyed the pizza and the waitress provided good service. The place was nearly full for a week night. My only complaint was that it was very noisy and it was difficult to have a conversation. All the interior surfaces are hard and the noise keeps bouncing around. The TV should have been muted since guests were talking over it anyway. read more

I love coming to this location because the staff is very friendly and I've always had a great service! Even when I come on Thursdays and it is packed because of the Thirsty Thursday special. I love the baked pretzels with Turbodog beer cheese! Our favorite specialty pie is the Thai Dye. read more

They make the food wrong at this location about 80% of the time. I like mellow mushrooms pizzas but this location needs serious help. The manager has never once come to our table to find out what was going on & they have never once offers a discount for us having to wait for our meal to remade. If you go here plan to spend at least 2 hours because you will most likely have to wait for you meal 2x or more. read more

Never have been a fan of Mellow Mushroom but ate here for the first time last year and loved the Pizza at this location. However we have been back several times since then and the food and service keeps getting progressively worse. Tonight we were seated on what they called their patio in the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat on in any restaurant. After 15 minutes of not being waited on we were actually fixing to leave when the hostess came over apologized and took our drink order. We finally got a waitress 10 minutes later. We finally got drinks and the waitress said they had no ice but she served the table directly behind us and their drinks had ice? Our appetizer ( pretzel bites) came out undercooked and were a big doughy mess. The waitress did apologize and took them back to get us more. She finally did bring us more at the end of the meal ( along with ice) as we were getting ready to leave. I was presented with the bill which of course included our after dinner appetizer and an extra drink that we didn't even order. There is a new Johnnys Pizza down the street and it may be time to give them a try. read more

4 out of 5 times that I have visited mellow Hiram my food has been made incorrectly or burned, or raw. They have a few nice servers but that's about it. Sad to say they can't make a pizza or calzone for sh*t. To make it worse (as if it could get worse) in all the times our food has been made incorrectly & we have had to wait an extra 20+ minutes for it to be made a second time (sometimes wrong or burned again) we have never been offered a discount or anything to compensate for our waisted time & inconvenience. I wish they would get it together and be great like all of the other mellow mushrooms in the Atlanta area but after 6 years of the same staff cooking there I fear it will never get better. They need to do some serious housecleaning as far as kitchen staff goes! If you constantly burn food or make it wrong then you shouldn't work at a pizza house. Seems as though the kitchen staff must be related to the owner or manager for them to put up with so much wasted food. I am very disappointed in my experience at this restaurant. The only thing they can get right is the drink order & sometimes you will wait 10 minutes on that. Years ago when they first opened they were great, food was perfect & a manager or the owner was always visible & walking around making sure the guest enjoyed the food.
