I recently placed a catering order with Carrabba's in Carrabba's Italian Grill and had an excellent experience from start to finish. I initially tried placing my order online but ran into website issues, so I called the restaurant directly. From the first phone call, Sean Cashman provided outstanding customer service. He helped me with my order, reviewed everything carefully, and made the entire process easy and stress-free. When I arrived for pickup, my order was ready on time, hot, and fresh out of the oven. Sean walked me through everything, and they even provided the serving utensils and silverware we needed. The food was a huge hit with our group. We ordered the chicken penne pasta, lasagna, grilled chicken, house salad with house dressing, bread with oil, and oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies. Everything was delicious, and we received so many compliments on the food. If you're looking for a place for catering, I highly recommend Carrabba's in Douglasville. Our server was so attentive, and helped us choose things my one year old could eat. We ordered two sandwiches from the lunch menus, and they were delicious. They customized them so I could share with my baby. Chicken parm, and steak marsala, we all enjoyed them. The music was low enough that we could still talk, but my baby could dance to it. I ordered catering for the office and could not have been happier. Pollo Rosa Maria with Garlic Mashed Potatoes & House Creamy Parmesan Salad, plus Penne Alfredo w/ Chicken (they even put the chicken on the side so my vegetarians could eat it), with Sautéed Broccoli. Dessert: Oatmeal & Chocolate Chip Cookies Demolished it. And not because there wasn't enough, because it was that good and they could ask for a nap later. I snagged some mashed to bring home before it was gone - a red potato mash is amazing, and this one was so creamy. That said, maybe the biggest hit was the bread with the seasoned oil for dipping. Grown men in line for seconds on fancy bread made my day! While I can't speak to the ambiance of the establishment, the people who delivered it were super nice and even started to set it up despite it being a drop off. We got a to-go order of Kids Mac n Cheese and the Chocolate Dream dessert. The kids pasta came with a drink as well as a half a loaf of fresh bread with olive oil and seasonings! We were pleasantly surprised by that and the bread was delicious-warm and soft! My 1 year old loved the Kids Mac n cheese! Service was super fast and quick! We did not go inside but it looked well maintained from what we could see. The chocolate dream was the downer as it was not edible. The brownie was hard as a rock that we couldn't even put our fork into it. I did get a survey after and included this information and they gave us a coupon to use next time which I thought was really impressive! A perfect dinner date with my wife, and this restaurant did not disappoint us. The vibe was great, the service was outstanding from the moment we walked in and was seated. The drinks we ordered were great; we had the margaritas. Our food was awesome, and so was the timing of the food service. We had the calamari for the appetizers along with the Caesar salad. Dined for the June Bourbon Dinner tonight. Absolutely amazing. First the staff from the check-in host were all super friendly. Shout out to Shawn and Charmaine for leading such an organized great team. The courses were delivered in a timely manner and the waitress kept the tables clear when finished. Food was amazing. Seasoned well. Everyone offered great conversation. 220z pork chop was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Cauliflower mash was the perfect complement to this Summer event with asparagus. Great food. Went there for date night this weekend. I had the shrimp and scallop linguini in vodka sauce w/salad, while my better half has the lasagna w/sausage lentil soup. Matched that with a bottle of Chianti and breadsticks. Delicious. The server was very nice and was always there when we needed her. Always a solid bet. This last time, I had it delivered. I love that you get the bread, olive oil and seasoning/spice blend, if you wish. I have had so many good dishes, its hard to select one. Carrabba's as a general rule is a good, safe bet for me and this location didn't disappoint! A "100" current Health Score posted in plain view upon entrance is ALWAYS an excellent and welcome introduction. We had 7 adults and a 2-yr. experiencing his very 1st in-person restaurant outing. My Nephew isn't "bad" by any stretch, but he's 1 of the busiest, energetic children that I know and he can't be muffled by high chair straps. =D Our waitress had a lot to deal with and though she had 1 minor faux pas, when she brought us more drinks and left the old drinks on the already congested table, she did a great job! Not sure about my experience... honestly the front of the house service was nice! But the bartender Chris, wasn't that good. I asked him, his favorite menu options, he says it's an Italian restaurant that serves steaks... not really personable or a good recommendation. But hey. I paid $20+ for the Rigatoni Campagnolo. It's supposed to be pasta, fennel sausage and red bell peppers. When I got home and sat down to eat, I opened the box to see pasta, peppers and ONE sausage ball about the size of a quarter. ONE! I also ordered a spaghetti, add meat sauce & meat balls.
