Great White no Feta (should have gotten the feta)

We are soooooooo full!!!!! Got the Holy Shiitake & Great White- favorites!! Let the pictures speak for themselves! The hostess was not at all friendly. She was extremely territorial over HER Full Patio Party, "My Party"... like we cared. Who says that?! But our server more than made up for her- he was super nice, genuine & accommodating!! I guess a big shout out to the kitchen staff busting out great grub! Does anyone ever thank the chefs, managers & behind the scenes folks that make an operation run smoothly?? There is a full bar, plenty of booths & tables to accommodate planty of folks. Small patio outside, covered. Salads are AMAZING & pizza is always fresh. The crust is fluffy & full of flavor. Best part- Mother's Day - kids treated me!

Mellow Mushroom #3 on my journey to rate every Mellow in metro Atlanta. Suwanee Mellow is a good one. I knew I was in for a treat when I parked in the shadow of a giant slab of the Berlin Wall, just 20 feet away from Mellow Mushroom's front door. So far Suwanee is the only Mellow that offers Soviet-era artifacts on the side. Our server was incredibly pleasant as well, and the lava lamp chandelier has become the new standard in Mellow decor-- my home Mellow in Decatur offers no such lighting contraption. Pizza tasted typical of Mellow, and the pretzel bites came with both the beer cheese sauce and marinara, a little spice of generosity not offered by all franchises. If you're from Suwanee you're in good hands.

Mellow Mushroom Suwanee was remarkably put together. Well, compared to other Mellow Mushrooms that is. Our server was kind and prompt, and despite the fact that our family practically closed down the place (totally not our intention) everyone was really sweet and friendly towards us. The pizza was perfect and didn't take forever to come out (another + considering Mellow's normal wait time) and the appetizer of pretzel bites was delicious as well. A big shout out goes to the decor of the place, which went way beyond the call of duty. Generally Mellow Mushroom prides itself on a a a neon meets futurism meets stoner meets... mushroom (?) type aesthetic, but Suwanee really out did themselves with this one. It was like a Mellowy Sistine Chapel, so that fun. Yeah, would recommend!

Don't waste your time trying to find another pizza restaurant because this is hands down the best in GA! I usually had pizza crusts unless it's pan -pizza from Domino's. This place crust is soooooo soft. We ordered the buffalo and it was very delicious. I didn't try the cheese but im sure it's good. We ordered take out so we had to warm up the pizza. I would like to try it fresh out of the oven next time so dine in will be my next option.

The restaurant is relatively new and the decor and overall atmosphere are amazing. I've always loved tapas, but usually you have to choose between Spanish tapas, Asian tapas, Mediterranean, Latin, etc. Here, they basically brought some of the best small plates from different cuisines together in one place, which I absolutely loved. It's especially great for larger groups because everything is meant to be shared, so you get to try a little bit of everything. We tried the carne asada, which was really good, the birria ravioli had great flavor, although I do think the pasta could have been cooked a little longer. The octopus was one of my favorites, and the patatas bravas were delicious too. They also have a huge cocktail selection, and we tried a few drinks and some beers, which came out super cold. The service was amazing and surprisingly fast, especially considering we were a larger party. They had live music, which I believe they do on weekends, and the atmosphere was so much fun. You can even get up and dance if you feel like it! They also have a cute outdoor area called Bloom Bar. Overall, I would 100% recommend Suwanee Social. It's perfect for birthdays and larger parties, but I could also see it being a great spot for a date night. If you love ordering different things and sharing food with the table, this place is definitely worth checking out if you're in the Suwanee area.

Ate at the bar, my bartender was great but it seemed that the restaraunt knew that a bartender called in but didn't provide adequate barback hands to support the situation. Eventually some barbacks did show up but this was well after 9pm. The bartender on staff, Maddie, handled the situation extremely well and she smiled the entire time. Kudos to her for the way she handled things, but the entire time she was the only bartender working the entire bar. 5 stars to her. So there was a few locals that we talked to that warned us food can be inconsistant, and that's the breakdown in my review. We ordered 5 tapas, the potatoes came out mushy, one of the ribs was beyond chewable and the flatbread was undercooked. I'd go back and give them another try, but unipmressed by the food, I would struggle to go back for more than the ambiance, live music, and the friendly staff.

Their menu has food, drink, and hookah options. They had nothing on the menu except for Suya; so, we didn't have food. The drinks were pretty good and reasonably priced, given that they were served in plastic cups. The hookah was pretty good and lasted awhile. The sign would advise they open at 5, but doors wouldn't open until nearly an hour later. They would frequently do grocery runs to Walmart then charge you the same amount for items such as wings that were clearly different and finally arrived right before they close the lounge. So you literally had to box them, then pay your bill to close..... With that said, The recent visit I made last week was MUCH better. Decor of this locale is real loungy and sleek. Nice ambiance for a Gwinnett experience...The staff is very pleasant, and the Siracha wings are amazing!!! Presentation was so simple but nice... My friend got another chicken dish, that kinda looked like a Cordon Bleu, and that was quite tasty as well. Drinks are fair, (tiny portions with ice), and the music is good. Mix of African/Reggae/HipHop. In all, I recommend this place if the consistency stays like this....but I had to be honest about my previous experiences.

I would like to say I planned the perfect date, but as some of the best things in life, this was just an impromptu visit to cap off an already great evening. Outside of being on the rooftop, the bar itself is upscale yet approachable, service was fast and friendly. Being a bit of a self engrandized home bartender I'm a bit critical when out of my home lab, but their Smoked Old Fashioned wasn't bad. ("Wasn't bad" really means very good.") While I don't love the prices and hate paying a cover charge, when you throw in live music, a great vibe, and a view, I can't really complain. The owner made an announcement that whoever tipped the band $10 would get a free drink, and since most drinks were over $15 I thought that was cool on many levels. Will definitely be back to The Rooftop!

We walked around and finally ran into a waitress who told us to sit anywhere we wished inside or outside. The only area festive was inside a closed igloo and no heaters were on outdoors which was just a tad too cool for me despite the super nice weather that day. It would have been so to sit outside but without the warmth of the heaters we headed inside. We placed our order and explained we were just there for a pre-dinner drink and wanted to check out the venue so we didn't leave our tab open but we were quickly served the fabulous taking drinks on their menu(s). The Old Fashioned was on the regular menu and the Russian was on their seasonal tabletop menu. Server was very nice and took photos for some ladies we met. The only reason I can't give them a 5 star is they claim they are big on hospitality but yet we were not acknowledged upon arrival. Many restaurants and even some retail stores have a way to ensure they say hello/welcome immediately when you enter and without a hostess - the mindset should be that the bar or wait staff have a way to immediately say hello or welcome so those who have never been feel welcomed as well as those who frequently come. It would be nice to have a more festive decor for the holidays but that didn't affect my review; just a statement to say that the entire Sugar Hill area was pumping and themed with the holiday spirit then we walked in the only area decorated was not even accessible nor was it offered as an option to enjoy.

The prices were so outrageously high I started wondering if I was accidentally buying shares in the restaurant instead of ordering a steak. Then, before I could even process the emotional damage, I noticed they had already slapped an automatic tip on the receipt. Bold move. Usually people wait until after they've earned it. I would give a better tip at Texas Roadhouse, a real American Dining. The steak arrived looking like it had lost a fight with the shrink ray from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. I've seen bigger samples at Costco. It was somehow both tiny and salty as shit, which is an impressive achievement in all the wrong ways. The mac and cheese tasted like someone whispered the words "cheddar" and "seasoning" into the kitchen and called it a day. I've had more flavorful ice cubes. At one point I looked down at my plate and genuinely wondered if this was the kids' menu portion by mistake. As we departed this fine establishment, I felt as though the restaurant had not merely emptied my wallet, but reached into my very soul and repossessed my financial future. My pocket had a hole in it by the time I left, my stomach was disappointed, and my dad deserved an apology letter from the chef. If Shakespeare himself had dined here, Hamlet would've been five acts of him debating whether "to eat, or not to eat." Save your money, grill a steak at home, and season your mac and cheese with literally anything. It'll taste better, cost less, and you won't need a small business loan just to celebrate Father's Day.

Have a trio of birthdays and one of our friends recommended this spot. In the square of Sauwnee, easy to get too. Good parking. Started with drinks and ordered the garlic bread for the table. Ordered a spicy tequila drink that was blackened with charcoal. Very good drink. Ordered the chopped salad, lobster bisque, sweet potatos, Brussels sprouts and the delmonico ribeye to share. The salad was very good. Bisque was rich and had a good bit of lobster. Didn't like the sour cream in the soup due to too much acid in the soup. The steak was cooked to perfection. Sides were also very good. My only roque was the cut of meat was very fatty. After dinner went into the lounge for a night cap and to listen to the piano player. Steve Lee is excellent. A nit- the birthday cake they gave us was small. Thank goodness we didn't have much room for dessert All in all we will be back.
