One of my favorite places to get pizza when on a time crunch! I've tried their veggie pizza which comes with tons of veggies and is really filling. I've also tried their veggie pizza build your own and have gotten the chicken and olives as toppings. They usually aren't super busy when I come in and I get my order in 10-15 minutes. While there, also make sure to get their breadsticks! They aren't super greasy or heavy and are a nice complement to pizza. You can always count on them for filling slices since one large is enough for my family of 4! read more

Recently I bought a standard pizza from riverside pizza, and I would say that is a decent quality pizza for the price you're paying. They have very speedy delivery and due to the price, you can buy for parties, events or special occasions without feeling like you broke the bank. The customer service is pretty good, and at least when I go there the employees seem to be quite friendly. Overall, I believe Riverside Pizza is a decent pizza at a decent price, with reliable quality. I would recommend for anyone who wants a decent pizza at a cheap price. read more

I've never been disappointed with this fast pizza place! Perfect when you are on the way home from work and don't feel like cooking...and who actually loves frozen pizza? No thank you. I always go to the convienent drive thru and at times there is a wait since it's a small area, however, they move quickly as the pizzas are "hot and ready". In my opinion this is a far step up from well known "hot and ready" pizza chains, and it's within the same price range. I always get a half cheese/pepperoni. The price is only a little bit more than the normal $6 and still has a short wait. The staff working here is always very sweet so I don't mind circling back to pick up my order! If you just get pepperoni or cheese it will be ready to go. On my last visit I ordered their new $9 pan pizza (this one seems to be cooked to order) and 15 minutes later my pizza was hot and delicious! It may have been a tad bit overcooked but I'd rather have overcooked dough than raw dough (yuck) especially with a thicker crust. The quality of their pan pizza is great and reminds me of a couple of places in the area that specialize in Detroit style (cheesey edge) pizza. Riverside is a pizza place made for the 'burbs (e.g. families, large groups of kids, etc.). Not like an Antico or Varasano's, but more along the lines of Pizza Hut, Domino's, and Little Caesar's, except with better quality, service, and in some cases, pricing. This Riverside offers delivery and carry-out only. They have a drive-thru specifically designed for carry-out orders. If you want just a cheese or pepperoni pizza, you don't have to call ahead -- they always have freshly baked cheese and pepperoni pizzas on-hand. If you carry these out, they're only $5.99 each (for a large), which is a very good deal. Large specialty and five-topping pizzas are $10.50 for the first and $8.00 for additional pizzas. An order of garlic breadsticks is 99 cents. They also have a good variety of salads (Greek, Italian, Caesar, tossed green) that range in cost from $2.50 for a side to $6.00 for family size. I've tried their supreme, Hawaiian (chicken, ham, pineapple), and pepperoni pizzas along with their breadsticks and Greek salad. Everything is simple and formulaic, but tasty nonetheless. Great pizza place if you are feeding a crowd and/or don't want to spend a lot of money. You can get a large cheese or pepperoni pizza for $5.99. They also have a drive-thru, which is convenient. The only thing is that it's set up kind of weird because you have to make a three point turn when leaving the drive-thru, unless your car has an excellent turn radius. Not a big deal, though! They seem to have the same "hot and ready" concept as Little Caesars, but with slightly better quality. Hit or miss with this place. Sometimes they have a good stock of ready to go pizzas and others they're way behind. The same can be said about the staff. Some are sharp and get orders exactly right. And others just are lost. We eat here semi-regularly. The last time, though, was... odd. Typically when you call an order in for pick up, they have it ready for you. Whoever took my order interpreted bread sticks as "cheesy bread". Not cool. The girl who took my order was great. The one who rang me out was a confused soul. After much correction, I finally got out of there with my order. Most of the was correct. Why else would someone do a pick up order if it has to be put together in front of you? I also prefer to support local businesses and they are locally owned and operated. My pizza came with pepperoni and jalapeno and there was plenty of cheese. The pepperoni was fresh and moist and the crust was just right. Microwave pizza...what more can I say. As a native NY'er, this is the farthest thing from real pizza. In fact, I would rate Degiorno frozen better. Listen, if you have 3 starving kids who won't shut up in the car, and need to feed them fast, then this is the place. Other than that, don't waste your time. The salads are decent. She came back and told me that she would bring me the pizzas is 20 minutes. I told her he may not understand and that I called my order in 40 min ago so it would be ready. I asked her to get the manager so I could talk to him. She came back and told me he said "he didn't have time to talk to me". Whoa!! Terrible service. Several delivery orders have had to be cancelled after not receiving our order in 1.5 hours, and we live about 1 mile from the store. Gotta say, I've been coming here for the past couple of years. Didn't really care for the staff or the dine in atmosphere, but I liked the pizza....UP UNTIL MY HUSBAND BIT INTO A SLICE WITH A FINGER NAIL IN IT!!!! I confronted the manager kid who admitted that he made the pizzas that afternoon. I asked to see his fingers, and he was definitely a chewer. He suggested that my husband put it there, he didnt give me any info on reaching he owner and then he lit the nail with his lighter without even asking! He claimed that it wasnt a nail bc nails don't melt. WTF, NIMROD??!!? I DO NOT recommend this place!! Beware of fingernails...unless you like an extra something in your pizza.
