Wish there was a zero star option. I've been a good driver for almost 15 years, zero accidents. Out of that 15 years I was a loyal customer of Melody's for almost exactly 7 years. However my premium kept going up and I finally decided to go with another Insurance Company with more coverage for less money. Here comes the shady part. I called them twice to cancel, both times my calls went to voicemail and never got a response to the messages I left. The third time they finally picked up the phone and I was able to speak to someone. They put a hold on my automatic payments but told me that only Melody can terminate my policy so I should contact her and send her a request. Another full day later I finally got her email address, but of course she never responded to my email requesting the termination. So I emailed again, and yet again, no response. I don't think this is the way you should treat a loyal customer and this is nothing but bad customer service and a shady way of doing business. On top of this since I've already paid for this month's premium I should get a prorated fee on my next bill that I don't even know if will ever happen if I can't even get a response to a simple email. Sorry, I never leave 1* reviews but people should be aware of shady businesses like this. read more

Christian over at this location has helped me with excellent customer service for the 2 separate times I called in to add new vehicles to my policy. He also helped me with a renters insurance policy that was cheaper than what I already had with another company. I recently moved into the area so I am really happy to have chosen a good office I can trust! read more

When it comes to home insurance, nothing else is better than melody Avecilla and her crew. They are polite and answers your call promptly.

Simply put, they do it all for you, making the process as easy and painless as possible. After collecting my information, they found the best rate for my needs, set everything up with the insurance company, sent me the paperwork for a signature, handled the payment via credit card, and emailed me my policy. Couldn't be simpler. When my policy was up for renewal this year, they contacted me and handled everything, even finding a cheaper rate with another company. I never had to visit the office, it was all handled via phone and email. Plus, I did plenty of research on my own and could not even come close to the rates they found. read more

The office was closed every morning I tried to call and report my mileage and Merly (real person not robot) sent me a reminder text about reporting my mileage to keep my discount and I was done in 5 seconds!! So convenient and always friendly. read more

If I could give them a -5 star rating, I would! This is the most unorganized, unprofessional, unkowledgeable, rude, incompetent, people I've ever dealt with in my life. I've spent way too much time trying to get their mistakes corrected. They overcharge and have made a number of mistakes on my policy time and time again. What's worse is that they do not take any accountability and It takes "days/weeks" to have the problem corrected. I don't know who's worse, Melody, Bay or Christian ... Probably Melody since as the owner, she should have better customer service skills, knowledge and have a better trained staff. So if you have money to flush down the toilet, time to waste and the patience of a saint, then this place is for you ... otherwise, stay away from this office! I'm going back to progressive. They requested Yelp to delete my review for lack of details, well here are the details. They change my auto insurance policy from comprehensive to liability only and charge me double for less coverage. They sent an email that I need to sign but refuse, but change my policy anyway. When I called them to change it back they tossed me around agent to agent until I requested them to just terminate my insurance, and that didn't went easy as well. They're are a lot of State Farm agent that will deal with you with more professionalism. If you like State Farm get a different agent. read more

I was a State Farm customer for over 15 years. I moved from out of state and needed to switch my insurance over. I'd never had any issues with State Farm in the past, so there was no reason to leave them just because I relocated. Unfortunately, this office and its staff were the reason for me to finally end my long standing relationship with them. My issues were similar to some of the other reviews. In the beginning, Christian was helpful and friendly, so I will give credit there. However, after a while, it all went downhill. We purchased a new car, which obviously resulted in a change in the policy. Initially, I was told that the change would increase the monthly premium by around $100. To my surprise, when I received the next bill, the total increased by $600 (again, *per month*)!!!! No one reached out to me to inform me of the increase. Even still, I contacted Christian once I saw the bill to ask about the increase. I received no response. So I followed up with Melody, and she passed it off to Bay. I still didn't hear anything, so I followed up. Again. After going around in circles with them, I told them that I could not afford such an increase in the monthly premium and did not authorize the automatic payment to go through. After suspending the automatic payment, I still needed to know why the premium increased so much and what could be done to lower it. I reached out to Christian and Melody multiple times just to get some answers, but neither of them responded. I would only get a response when I would follow up multiple times. Christian's last response offered an apology while also stating that he "overlooked" my email. Way to make your customers feel important! All this back and forth went on for almost two months...two months of my wasted time just for me to get minimal responses and answers. Nothing was ever resolved, and I ended up canceling all of my policies with them. I would recommend staying away from this office. While it might be okay in the beginning, it won't take long to find out that they do not care about their customers once they get their money. read more

Absolutely the WORST service I have ever received. I have been with this Agency thru 3 of their moves so it's been a long time. I have at least 6 polices through them. Today I went to their "new" office walked in and joking said I like the other place better. Was answered with that's tuff. I had to report an accident as a car rolled into my parked car. was told I had to file the claim myself, they wouldn't do it. They gave me a number to call. What are they there for ? Just to sell the policy and collect the money? Then it's FU to the customer. I'm going to AAA as soon as I can. read more

I have been with Melody Avecilla's State Farm for almost 15 years. I have been a loyal costumer, only calling (maybe 4-5 times) in this time frame of almost 15 years when I had a new car it needed insured or when rates went up, but, no explanation. So, just, very rarely. Melody and her staff (Bay, Christian) cannot be reached! I leave voicemails after voicemails (because they never answer their phone), I personally go to their office...Bay, last I went, had the nerve to ask me to "keep waiting", while he was on the phone, on a personal call, for over 40 minutes...so, wait for what? When I asked how long shall I wait for, he asked me out! I tried to complain to Melody, but she acts like a Goddess, cannot be reached in any way...If I could give less than ZERO stars, I would...Don't they understand this is a free country and so many car insurance carriers we can choose from? Rude and nasty office staff with no customer service skills, do not advise using them. After almost 15 years (why did it take me so long, and why did I give them so many chances?!), I finally had some respect for myself and left, went to a different State Farm agent, whom I am very happy with. read more
