Melody Lynd literally saved my life in 2005-3006! I had gone to Costa Rica for breast augmentation. Big Mistake. Don't recommend this. I developed sepsis and was extremely ill on the plane home. Within 3 days of being home I knew I was in trouble. I told a friend that a red line was forming from breast to heart area and dizzy. He said get help! So he found Dr. Lynd. She had me rushed to Los Gatos hospital and my blood pressure had dropped. She gave me emergency surgery! Saved my life. So I've gone to her for Restyalin injections since. She's great painless. I love Dr. Melody Lynd! A family friend had been raving about her for years and had sent several of her friends to Dr. Lynd for various procedures. So when I needed to have a procedure done early in the year, I went to her for a consultation. I absolutely loved her personality and she immediately made me feel perfectly at ease. She really took her time explaining everything and answering the plethora of questions I had. I then had another consultation for two additional cosmetic procedures. Because she doesn't believe in overcharging her patients, I was able to get all three procedures done. I had gone to three plastic surgeons in the Bay Area for consultations about four years ago, but I'm so happy that I held off from having anything done before meeting Dr. Lynd because not only is she a phenomenal surgeon, she is extremely caring and sincerely wants the best for her patients. This my third procedure done by Dr. Lynd and honestly she is truly the best! I have referred multiple people to her for multiple different procedures and surgeries to be done as well. Yesterday I had my nasal fracture repair done by Dr Lynd I am still swollen which is normal but I can already see this morning that my nose appears to be so much better in just one days time. Years ago I had had a ear nose throat doctor attempt to repair my deviated septum well it did not go well at all and Dr Lynd had to re do my surgery removing a lot of old scar tissue etc that had been causing my septum to almost come through my skin on nose. She takes her time with her patients has a fantastic bed side manner and truly has a great heart all three different surgeries she has done on me have been fantastic results! I had written negative reviews on Google and on real self regarding my honest experience with Melody, which has been an absolute nightmare . I suffer daily from depression and anxiety over sending her $15,000 and putting trust into having her perform my timmy tuck. I had a tummy tuck with Dr. Melody in 2011 and was generally happy with the results, despite a noticeable "dog ear" that she attempted to correct in-office. Fast forward to 2022, after having my second child, I consulted her again for a revision tummy tuck and liposuction of my stomach and back. She assured me I was a great candidate, and I proceeded with the surgery, paying nearly $15,000. On my pre-op visit, she told me she wouldn't be able to turn me over during surgery to properly lipo my back but claimed she could still achieve good results while I was on my back. I trusted her expertise. However, when I saw my results the day after surgery, I was devastated. My stomach looked almost the same, my previous scar was still visible below the new one, and even a mole on my lower stomach was left untouched. I had zero bruising on my stomach, raising concerns about whether she actually performed the liposuction as promised. She assured me I was just swollen, but over time, nothing improved. She then attempted to fix my concerns with two microneedling + RF treatments, done six months apart, despite the manufacturer's recommendation of every six weeks. When I brought this up, she dismissed my concerns and insisted she knew best. The treatments were done in a rushed, incomplete manner, leaving large untreated areas. A year post-op, I went back to discuss my dissatisfaction. She became defensive, telling me I "didn't have much skin to remove"--but if that were true, why did she perform a full tummy tuck from hip to hip? She also admitted she no longer had the Smart Lipo machine for in-office corrections, despite initially promising liposuction as part of my procedure. She removed only 1,100cc of fat, far below what is typically done in California (max 5,000cc). Ultimately, I feel I paid for a full tummy tuck with liposuction but was left with minimal improvement--essentially just a dog ear revision. This experience has caused me significant emotional distress, and I deeply regret trusting her again. I'm sharing my story so others can make an informed decision. If you are considering surgery with Dr. Melody, I strongly urge you to do thorough research and ensure you get clear, written expectations upfront. Doctor Lynd is a very nice person, very easy to talk to, nice sense of humor. Yet, I have never paid so much for just listening to a doctor. I came for a laser resurfacing of brown spots on my face and the procedure lasted a few minutes , the rest of the hour was listening to dr. Lynd describing benefits of the oil she had put together. It would have been fun to have a friend like Dr. Lynd and meet her for coffee from time to time. Needless to say, I still need laser resurfacing. read more

I was in her office for botox over a year. Not happy with the service. I need to come back every two months to renew my botox. she doesn't use even enough in the touch up appointment. She charges you base on the area. She tries to connect with you with talking like a coffee friend but honestly she doesn't care about you. read more

Dr. lynd did my nose job about 8 years ago. I told her I wanted a nose job but I didn't want to look like I had had one. She said she knew exactly what I meant. And she did. No one could tell but they all said I looked great. My profile and nose are flawless. I was only sorry I hadn't done it earlier. Plan on going back for more work when I'm older. read more

I have had two cosmetic procedures done by Dr. Lynd. Both were exactly done as she told me they would be and the results were amazing. She also performed hand surgery on me and the scar is hardly visible. My brother was seen by Dr. Lynd in the emergency room. He almost lost the use of his thumb but Dr. Lynd did surgery and he now has full use of it. All in total, we have had four surgeries with her and I would absolutely trust her again! She knows what she is doing and friendly in process. Dr. Lynd cares about her patients and sometimes she is running late because she goes the extra mile to find out their concerns. My 2 year old daughter fell and cut her lower lip from the top towards the inside and needed stitches. My pediatrician recommended that a plastic surgeon take care of the stitches and called Dr. Lynd. Because of her young age, this required outpatient surgery involving general anesthesia, cleaning of the wound, as well as the stitches. I was very scared, and did not have much time to get a second opinion from another plastic surgeon. I tried, but there are not many plastic surgeons who work on small children. My pediatrician told me that she worked with Dr. Lynd multiple times in the past, and that I could trust her. She was completely right, and my daughter's lip looks great. It looked better right away and she's recovering well. I also learned that Dr. Lynd has extensive experience working on children Dr. Lynd is not only personable, but took the time to talk to us, explain the procedure to us and what we needed to do after the surgery She made herself very available to us and most importantly, did a great job on my daughter. Dr Lynd is amazing. I have seen her for a couple of things. First she did a scar revision on my knee. I had a dark red golf ball size scar which was a very uneven and painful scar. She was able to surgically remove that scar tissue and close that wound - leaving me with a much more attractive and functional knee. Previously, I could not even put weight on the knee without it hurting me. Now however, I can thanks to Dr. Lynd. She also removed a small cyst from above my upper lip. I had previously seen a dermatologist that told me I would be left with a significant scar if I removed it, however, Dr. Lynd managed to take it off leaving NO SCAR - at all. Because of these two experiences, I decided to entrust Dr. Lynd with an upper bleph. Again, she did beautiful work restoring one of my upper lid muscles which had damage from a previous car accident leaving a beautiful result improving my vision as well. Lovely to chat with and seems very concerned about your needs and desires! Dr. Lynd, however, would be a better coffee date than surgeon. She is unskilled and ultimately terrible with the knife. She will follow through on her promises and is very attentive after surgery, but you need more than that if you are spending a lot of money and altering your appearance. I had a tummy tuck, implants, and lower eyes done. My belly button is off center, my scar is lopsided, I have severe encapsulation, and one eye looks way worse now than before! I believe the only thing that she could not have prevented was the encapsulation of my breast implants. Everything else seemed totally sloppy and I would not wish on anybody! I will never have plastic surgery again, but if you do, please go elsewhere. It makes me sad to write this, but I wish I would have taken others' posts more seriously. I confess, I was influenced by her "good" price, which has been expensive in the long run. read more

Beware. This doctor completely botched my son's stitches and now the poor guy has a horrific scar he will carry with him forever. Even my pediatrician was surprised at the technique (continuous stitch vs tying off each stitch) she used which was ineffective. read more
