Will not be returning. I will say there was no hesitation on getting in for a quick manicure. Overall manicure was fine. The reviews were decent so I thought I'd check it out. $35 dollar for a manicure with gel nail polish which was fine. The environment was dusty and cluttered. No friendly hello or how's your day during the whole application. When it was done, she had me wash my hands and handed me a lotion bottle...then walked to the terminal to check me out. I always thought a manicure came with a quick hand massage?? Anyways, horrible customer service and dirty environment are enough for me not to come back. read more

I highly recommend this nail salon Tracy always does an incredible job on my nails and Van always does an incredible job on my toes their prices are awesome walk ins are welcome depending how busy they are so it's usually a good idea to call ahead and make an appointment I haven't been in since last December because I've been an incredibly busy lady but I'm hoping to see these lovely ladies either later this Summer or sometime in the Fall read more

Tracy does such a great job perfecting my nails. I like a more natural shape and neutral color and Tracy and Van always do a terrific job. It takes 45 minutes to an hour for my powder dip nail manicure. during that time there are so many calls for appointments and walk-ins that I don't know how she and Van do it all! Always nice to everyone and my nails look great! read more

Two of us came in for pedi and mani. Make very clear when call for appointment as to services wanted. One of us wanted solar but they thought both manicures. Were not flexible to correct but told me I got it wrong. Interesting approach. We got shellac on both. Excellent job from Tracy & Vin. Vin is excellent and quick. If want paraffin etc on pedicures, must ask and $5 more. Wish they posted their prices. They don't. Standard pedicure was $30 with shellac. Manicure with shellac was $30 and $1 for files used etc. They have 4 excellent massage chairs and 2 nail stations. Would come back here. Heard Melody (owner) is extremely good. Gave 4 stars for no pricing posted. read more

I had a gift certificate. It was dated 10/8/15. I tried to use it today. Yes I know it was written a while ago, but it has know expiration on it. I offered to pay any difference in price changes and even asks for 1/2 of what is was worth ($18). She said she told who gifted it to me it would expire. Why then, is it not written on gift certificate? Poor customer service.. and there wasn't even anyone in the place. Lost business and won't be recommending them to anyone. I came in today for a full set. I read the reviews and it seemed like one of the best around the area. I wanted a clear, but with a "V" on top with white full set . The lady told me they "do not paint". I tried to clarify this for about five minutes that they would not paint on top of my full set, she kept stating she could not do white paint on top of the full set. I was frustrated to say the least... a nail salon doesn't pain on top of a full set? Never heard of. In my opinion, she did not want to try to understand nor did she want to work.This would have been such a simple and easy job. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If they can turn someone down for this simple of a job, I don't think they'd invest the time to do a decent job on your nail work either. read more

I waited to submit my review to see how my nails would hold up. I went in for a fill and got gel polish. It has been over three weeks and there is no lifting! My nails look practically the same as the did when I got them done, minus the nail growth. I will definitely be going back. read more

I tried to go to three salons before this one just for a fill and all three had turned me away because they only had ONE nail tech that knew how to fill acrylic nails and she wasn't available. Van does the absolute best shellac manicure! She paints my natural nail perfectly to the edge, covers the tip, and the coats are so thin it looks like regular nail polish! But it lasts for weeks and never peels! Not to mention, in and out in 30'ish minutes! Great attention to detail...and inexpensive! The best I've ever had! I'll never go anywhere else! read more

I received a gift certificate for this nail salon with no expiration date listed on the certificate. I called to check to ensure I could still use it a year later and was informed that it would not be accepted. I think it's extremely unfair that someone spent $45 dollars on a gift certificate but no service was ever given. So essentially they just stole $45 dollars from the person who gave me this gift certificate. They didn't tell that person at the time of purchase that there was a expiration nor did they print it on the gift certificate itself. I will never give my money to this nail salon and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Absolutely ridiculous! read more

I've come to this place several times because they did a decent job with my nails. I made an appt recently to get shellacs and verified the price when I called. While the tech was doing my nails, I asked her to do a different color for my ring finger. When cashing out, she gave me an outrageous price that did not match what I was told over the phone. When I asked why there's a difference in price, she said that it's because of the one nail that I asked to be painted in a different color. I didn't ask for a design or anything on the nail, just that it be painted a different color, AND if I'd been told that there would be a 30% price increase, I would've stuck with the one color. I think the salon does a decent job, but it's definitely not worth the price increase! read more

After being late to my appointment (*give yourself time for parking and be aware of the Tuesday Night Market!) they still took me and even apologized for having me wait a few minutes before getting started. Whenever I come to Hillsboro from California to visit my family we go to get our nails done. The last few trips we haven't liked the place we have gone. So on a Friday night at 4:30pm we called Melody's nails to make an appointment for two pedicures and an acrylic/gel fill. It turns out we were their last customers right at closing. It was like having a private pedi party! Both of the girls were sweet and never once tried to up sell us anything in any way. I really appreciated this because my nail places in California are forever trying to up sell you and seem to treat you differently if you don't choose the expensive choices. Totally not the case here! Not only did our toes and nails turn out great, but I genuinely loved visiting with the ladies that work there. They have definitely found customers in my family and I! I plan on only going here when I am in town. The place is clean, prices are fair, services are fast but not rushed and the ladies that work here are sweet! She even stayed after hours on a Friday night to do my fill!! Definitely a little hidden gem in downtown Hillsboro! read more
