The owners greet you with a smile and want you to be comfortable. I had a gel French pedicure and it was painful. A sanding tool wasn't used to remove my old gel, instead pulled off. I mentioned several times, "this is uncomfortable", "please stop I'm not enjoying myself and you're hurting me". My technician spent time whispering to her fellow coworker, stopping at times. I don't care if the technician chats, but whispering and stop working isn't professional. The male owner was aware I was uncomfortable and recommended I turn on my massage chair, which wouldn't help my toe discomfort. I reluctantly stayed. My gel pedicure was nicely done, but the cost wasn't worth it. $35 for pedicure, $10 gel plus, $7.00 for French pedicure. read more

I just moved to Forest Grove and was hoping to not need to drive over to Hillsboro to get my nails done. I usually get the dip powder because it lasts and stays looking nice. I made an appointment and went in. First there were next to no variety for powder colors. A lot of them were similar shades of nude and maybe only 30 colors. Second, that was the fastest, slap dash manicures I have ever had. Not great, could be much better. Third, the powder color did not last. It was thin, broke, cracked and was uneven. It's been 2wks and I desperately need my nails redone. They did not hurt me, as another salon did, but I will not bother going back. The salon is nice, little cluttered, and tired. I got told to cut my own nails shorter till my next fill and to not do long nails. and then he told me that he doubt Mai would want to fix them. i came here for a pedicure and they were very nice but the shop didn't seem to have the same hygiene standards as other places: no liner for the pedicure tub, no sterilization seen on the tools used, etc. so it felt kind of uncomfortable. the price point was good, but i think next time i will pay a little more to go somewhere else. read more

Just moved to FG area and didn't want to take the drive out to my normal nail salon. Checked this place out. Atmosphere is alright, kinda of run down and a little bit of an awkward vibe. I got a dip manicure. Only have a few option for dip which is a bit odd. The lady who did my set did a great job with my nail shape. Her application of the dip was also not bad. I got my manicure done on a Saturday. Very next day two of my nails chipped. It was soon realized that my dip was way too thin. They are closed on Sundays and couldn't get my nails fixed until Monday. Well, come Monday and I had three badly chipped nails. I decided I wasn't going to waste time going back to get them fixed. Honestly so disappointed. I got my nails done (shellac mani and pedi) last week and three days later two of my nails had already chipped... fast forward to today and two other nails have chipped as well. Throughout this week the top coat of the shellac has rubbed off as well. I've gotten shellac manis for years and have NEVER experienced this; usually the shellac stays on my fingers for at LEAST 2 1/2-3 weeks before it starts to chip or look bad. The polish is super low quality and definitely not worth the $55 I paid for the mani and pedi. The pedi was really nice and that polish hasn't chipped at all, it's just my fingers. I definitely want my money back, at least for the manicure, because it was not worth it at all. I won't be coming here again. I'm really upset about it. read more

I was rushed to sit down then once I did hey had me waiting for 20 minutes while 2 lady's were on their phones. I got a full set of gel, which I asked for ombré and I didn't get. She got the acrylic all over the place and had to drill my skin to get it off. She ended up cutting my cuticle on my ring finger. About 4 of my nails are crooked and almost all of them are lumpy. My little sis and I decided on a whim to go get manis. I did a Yelp search and found Pacific Nails. All reviews were good and the store was close. Everyone said they were under new owners so we wanted to give them a try! We picked a very popular time apparently but we were happy to wait and they couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating! Sis had a bottle of water and a I had a generous cup of wine! Our nails were PERFECT!! Seriously perfect! I didn't have to point out any missed sides, smudges, or paint on my skin because for once, there was NOTHING to point out! I got a hand massage so nice I thought I'd come back after work tomorrow for just one more massage! I am really happy we chose Pacific Nails! 10/10 do not recommend a nail removal with them. It was so disappointed. I've come here before and loved it. But today the technician tried to use the acrylic nail to scrape off my nails and my nails clearly needed to be soaked first. She ended up ripping my real nails. When using the buffer machine, the tip got really hot and my hand jolted back in pain. It felt like they were just trying to rush and get me out of there. read more

I really appreciate their honesty and willingness to have people come back later when they're full. Went in the other day to get my nails done. At first they looked amazing but when I got home I took a closer look and I had polish on my cuticles, nails were uneven and crooked, and some were thick and thin. I've only ever heard great reviews from this place so I thought I'd try it out again to see if maybe my first time was an accident, but it proved me wrong. I'd rather go to the place that over charges than a cheaper place because my nails at least look better. Maybe it's just because they just got back up and running again or something but I don't know how I am go in 2 times in one year and get the same results. I hope this review doesn't ruin the taste for other people just though I should share my experience. Also this picture of my nails is after I spent over an hour trying to get the polish off my cuticles, thinning down my nails and reshaping them. The staff there are very friendly and make good conversation with you so that was a plus !! read more

The prices are not the worst but not the best, the staff was nice enough but spoke mostly to each other in their native tongue and said little to their clients, the "wine" offered was the cheapest you can get but...hey...at least they offered it. The pedicures we had were good, not the best, not the worst. I'd also list their cleanliness as middle range as well, some things were very dusty (shelves, displays, random plants around the shop, knick-knacks) but other things seemed to be paid attention to and wiped down. Took my little sister and I to go get a simple mani done. Nice colors to choose from. It was about $15/adult, $10/kids. Extras were $5/design and $1 if you want to get a buffer and file taken home with you. They close at 7pm on weekdays. We got there at about 6:30pm. They welcomed us in, and got us seated quickly. They didn't rush through anything, and took their time. They even reapplied polish on a nail when my little sister (she's under 12) accidentally touched something. We got out of there at about 7:15, which means they stayed late and took their time. We'll definitely be coming back - and I think we've found our spot! read more
