I recommended this for a friend's birthday (15+ ppl)and everyone enjoyed it; they were super nice…read moreand made it special for my friend . Some logistical challenges like no updated picture menu (people new to Indonesian food had no idea what things were), ordering at the counter(awkward/ time consuming) but overall the owners got thru it very well and pushed thru, the food was delicious and people liked the bottomless coffee/tea setup. I think their sweet spot might be smaller groups where that personal touch really really comes thru and is manageable with the current setup. I hope they continue to grow and keep the food awesome! They have a $18 buffet style sampler on weekends which I may want to try sometime.

Trying Indonesian food during my visit in Atlanta. It was good. I would recommend ayam bakar Bumbu…read morerujak for spicy lovers!! The grill chicken is covered with plenty of spicy Bumbu rujak. The chicken is smokey and juicy! My kids really enjoyed the mie ayam bakso. The noodle is very thin, the chicken is chunky and so flavorful. The bakso is also homemade, not store bought. It's also come with fried wonton a.k.a pangsit goreng. We also try their empek2, batagor, and kwetiau goreng. It's so so in my opinion. I'm really disappointed with batagor. The tofu is stuff with so little fish paste and it's super dry. It's also come with pangsit goreng which have very little chewy meat on the inside. The peanut sauce is very sweet and over powered the whole dish. It's self service restaurant where you get your own drink and utensils including napkins. The spicy sauce and sweet soy sauce is also available on the side. They also provide the food containers for the leftover that we want to bring home on side. The owner is nice and friendly. We order the food in cashier/counter and they will bring the food to the table. They also have mini shop for Indonesian snacks or seasonings. For the payment, they accept any cash form and charge 3% for all credit cards.

The food was actually superb. But, I don't like their deceptive pricing. Like would you like this…read moreand this. And you can actually get half and half. Then the menu prices become inflated without any notice. But for one of the "upgrades" or whatever the reasoning for the extra charge, it was only shredded lettuce along with a small dollop of sour cream and guacamole. It was rather sad. It's something you'd get standard at a chain restaurant like El Sombrero. Oh. If you get the consome, it will be an extra charge of $2.45. And they won't tell you that. But other than that, the food was good! I really liked how they had a separate birrias menu. Make sure you bring wet wipes because your hands will be oily. The birria sliders were delicious. Our strange total came out to be $16.90. Even with the $2.45 consome factored in, the total isn't $15.40. Since they were sliders, it's rather small. They're the size of the square dinner rolls but packed full of cheese, oil, and half chicken and beef. The beef was slightly more tasty compared to the chicken but both was just soaked with their variety of flavors. The birria quesadillas were $17.40. Even with the extra $2.45 with the consome, their math is not equaling $15.95 -- whacky! As for the taste profile, deliciousness. These three quesadillas were pretty massive. And like my sliders, they were equally oily and messy to consume. The horchata was really tasty. For a large, it was $6.75. It tasted different from other places. There was a nice rice flavor to it and less of the cinnamon flavor. Would I visit again? I think not. Good food. Prices were bleh, especially how it seems like we were charged more than their menu prices.

Good quality food, service, cleanliness. Everything is made…read moreto order of course, so your order is going to be fresh and hot. The fries remind me of the 90s Wendy's fries which were my favorite back in the day. Crispy enough on the outside, light and soft inside, and the perfect size and cut. Lightly salted. The chili cheese dog was on point. The split dog itself is a pretty generous size, good seasoning/flavor, & had the right texture to it; not too soft, not too chewy. It might actually be a sausage link; I didn't ask, so I'm not sure. I recommend ordering it with raw onions and add your own mustard. I like the dog more than the burger actually. The burger was solid. I got a double bacon with pepperjack, grilled onions, and jalapeños. Everything felt fresh. I think the burger could be better if the patties were a bit more crisp (cooked a bit longer or on higher heat for a harder sear and crust) and butter the buns before toasting them (they might already but maybe not enough butter to notice). The milkshake was the perfect consistency. Not so thick to where you can't drink it through a straw, and not too loose to where it's not a shake. The inside was clean, and the staff was friendly. You can order at a kiosk, or at the register. I used the kiosk, only because It's the first thing you see upon entry, so I thought I had to. The kiosk is missing some items though (unless I just couldn't find them), and the card reader was a little stubborn when trying to tap to pay. I could only find milkshakes as part of a kids meal on the kiosk so I ordered one separately at the register. Also, I was going to order cheese fries, but the kiosk only showed bacon cheese fries as an option. Nice spot and not too far of a drive for me. I recommend trying.

Honestly, I want my money back. My friend sent me a promo for National Burger Day, and I thought it…read morewas BOGO on any burger. That's also what I was told over the phone. The reality? It was only for their "classic" burgers--which I didn't find out until I showed up. The place already had a 90 health score, which made me hesitant. Seeing a visible, overflowing trash can under the sink to the right of the kitchen didn't exactly inspire confidence either. On the positive side, the woman at the counter was friendly. She asked for my name so they could call it when my order was ready. After 15 minutes (for just two burgers, in a not-busy restaurant), I finally had to ask about my food. The cook seemed confused, asked my name again, then looked around before finally finding my order. They never actually called my name, even though that's how the process was explained. The food itself was the biggest disappointment: I paid extra for bacon, but it wasn't added. The burger patty was pink, even though I asked for well done. The lettuce looked ancient, like it had been sitting out overnight. The burger was bland with no flavor whatsoever. The only redeeming quality was the mustard bourbon sauce, which paired decently with the paper-thin slice of pepper jack cheese (on my burger), though my fiancée's burger had the cheese completely forgotten. At the heart of every guy, there are four foods we know at our core--pizza, fries, chicken nuggets, and burgers. And this burger? Easily one of the most basic, uninspired ones I've ever had. The one thing I might go back for is the milkshakes--a few flavors caught my eye. But outside of that, I don't plan to return anytime soon. Even at the promo price, I left disappointed. If I had paid the full $22 (before tax), I would've been even more upset. For now, this is a 2-star experience at best.
