We asked for a written estimate for their verbally quoted estimate. He said they don't provide written estimates. He said he "found an old part made of copper, we haven't used copper in years, and could do the repair today price of $1200." That's $300 more than the original estimate for an admitted inferior repair that cost them nothing after neglecting to order the replacement at all. He still continued to refuse to provide any written estimate. Unprofessional, dishonest and extraordinarily poor customer service.

My kids were screaming, my wife was upset, etc. Holy cow it wasn't fun. Called Mark as soon as 7am hit as that was his office hours. Nobody picked up so I left a VM. He responded via text within a minute and texted me a rough cost estimate based on my description (I think he prefers text as opposed to calls). BTW, I felt that the cost was very reasonable. He was at my place bright and early at 8:30am. Mark was friendly, patiently listened to be explain the issue, was willing to get his hands dirty, etc. Like his approach of trying the simple solutions first. Thankfully it worked. He even wanted to check the crawl space below to make sure there was no water leaks. Thank goodness the crawl space was dry with no leaks at all. Talk about professionalism!! Great plumber. Excellent communication. Punctual. What more can a person ask for. Will definitely call him the next time I need plumbing work done. He lives in LaGrange, and his kids go to school here. There was very little urgency, despite this being an active backup that could impact tenants. I had to keep texting just to confirm my messages were received. When I followed up again in the evening, I received multiple back-and-forth calls repeating information already discussed earlier in the day, along with unnecessary explanations that felt dismissive. In the end, no plumber was sent and the warranty was not honored. I ended up paying $500 for another plumber who arrived within 20 minutes and fixed the issue. Justin himself is excellent, but based on this experience, the company's communication and response, especially regarding warranties, was frustrating and unreliable. Use caution if you're relying on their guarantee and dealing with urgent matters.
