One our group got the fried apple pie with ice cream. I'm not a fan of fruit pies, but I did have a nibble of the crust. It was light and crispy. Not heavy, tough and crumbly as I've seen done by others in the mountains. I would almost eat a serving of fried crust dough. Serve with that butter for the sweet potato, and some ice cream-THAT would be awesome. On your way out don't forget to pick up some grits or pancake mix from Logan Mill. It's the only grits I serve at my house.
