I'm totally obsessed with Pink Willow and I SOOO wish I lived closer, I'd totally be a regular. I've seen this spot on Instagram a ton, and when I had a meeting with someone who lived close, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to check it out. The space itself is so cute, it's very intentional and aesthetic. The pink stripes, ceiling clouds, plant paintings on the wall make it so unique. They have a pretty extensive menu, and I ordered a Garden Muse salad and it was delicious. I'm really simple and when it comes to salads, as long as the ingredients are fresh I'm happy. This hit the nail on the head. I added chicken and that made it super filling. The dressing wasn't sweet (which I prefer) and it's safe to say this is one of my new favorite salads :) I also ordered one of the latte specials which was a birthday cake latte. They were accommodating with my order of half sweet, and it was so good! I can't wait to come back for brunch! I'm already looking forward to it. read more

We were so excited to try the Pink Willow Cafe. It is a very cute place with outside dining in a lovely area. We sat at an outside table and asked if the area around the table could be cleaned as there were a lot of bird droppings next to it. Unhealthy as well as gtoss! The manager came out and explained it can only be cleaned off with a power washer and that is done once a week. (Obviously not today!) She (manager) did cover the soiled area with a damp dish towel. When our order came out the food was mixed up on the plates---my eggs, husband's sausage, etc. The plates were removed and brought back out. Unfortunately the food was not as ordered and now too cool to eat as well as not prepared as ordered. We were offered a redo of our food but declined at that point. What a fun brunch spot- the menu is great, the food and drinks were fun! Get the lemon curd blueberry French toast! They have seasonal drinks, a cute bar- lots of fun and fresh food made to order. This isn't a quick stop, the cooks make the food in an open air kitchen with limited space. It's a dance and they have it mastered. Wow, this place is busy! This is my second time trying to eat here. I put us on the waitlist about 30 minutes prior to arriving and we still had to wait another 30 for our table to be ready. It is pretty tight inside, limited seating and there's nowhere to wait around as well. The food came out quickly though and it was pretty good. Got the Monte Cristo. It is a bit pricey for the amount of food you get. I also tried the matcha (nothing too special which is what I expected since it's not really a coffee shop). There's a few items for breakfast that are not available for brunch after 11am. Cute restaurant with limited seating with friendly and helpful staff. The server uses a handheld device to enter orders and for guests to pay their check. This helps a lot with their efficiency. This is a great place to eat for a girls day out, the pink /girly aesthetic is a vibe! Be sure to join the waitlist early though as this is a very busy spot with limited seating, we opted to go on a weekday during lunch to avoid a huge crowd! I got their seasonal coconut cream pie latte and a BLT with dressed greens as did my mom. The latte tasted just like the pie, it was delicious! The BLT was also good, but the amount of bacon was not consistent between mine and my mom's, mine had a lot more which we were confused about. I was really excited to try Pink Willow Cafe! My friend and I arrive around 9:20 and we were a group of 4. When I walked in I noticed at first how cute the place was. My friend arrive before me so she was already at the counter waiting to be seated. When I walked in, I did not notice a sign that said to be seated go to counter so there were people that came in and just sat at an empty table. After we were seated we ordered coffee and the breakfast burrito. The coffee was not super hot, which can be a good thing and bad thing depending on the person. My breakfast burrito was okay. Nothing special and I thought the sausage would have more flavor. I chose the rosemary potatoes as my side and they were too salty. I will say I am not someone that adds salt to my food. My friend and I were there catching up and after about an hour and a half someone approached our table informing us we had 10 minutes left. We had completed our meals and paid, but I thought this was odd. There were other people in the restaurant and open tables so not sure what happened. If there was signage stating 90 minute table time, I missed it. Since visiting, I have gone to their Facebook page and noticed they posted five days ago about joining the wait list and the best times to visit for tables of 7+. I had higher hopes for my visit and was disappointed. My only draw back is that it can get very loud and very busy on the weekend. Brunch with some lovely ladies this morning at one of my favorite spots -- Pink Willow Café in Cottleville! I kicked things off with their seasonal Carrot Cake Latte -- such a cozy, delicious way to start the day. For brunch, I couldn't resist their biscuits and gravy -- seriously, that spicy gravy gets me every time. And of course, I had to round it all out with an espresso martini because... balance, right? I absolutely love this venue. It's such a cute, welcoming spot -- definitely not my first time here and certainly won't be my last! Inside was cramped and very loud The service, one seated was a little slow. Took a while to get menus and took 25 mins to get a check once we were finished. The food was not special. It was good just not out of the ordinary. I got the fried egg sandwich. A little too greasy. I had to use a fork and knife to eat it. The table shared the cookie butter cinnamon roll. I wish I would have just gotten that for myself. Super cute place! Joined the waitlist for 4 people about an hour and a half before we wanted to go and it worked out perfectly. Our wait was a little over an hour and a half. Their waitlist is online FYI. The inside is darling and they have a nice sized patio as well. We got here at 11 on a Sunday and were disappointed to hear we couldn't order breakfast. Ends at 11- even on weekends. Would love to see that changed so we can try their delicious pancakes at brunch! They do have a smaller all day menu that has some breakfast items- but no pancakes or french toast, etc. So get those before 11. For drinks, we tried the coffee and boozy iced coffee and they were great. They have a full coffee bar with espresso. For entrees, I had the yogurt with granola, my friend had the adult grilled cheese with fries, and everyone else had the bagel sandwich. All of the food was delicious. Good portion sizes and came out fast. Our service throughout the entire time was wonderful. They were short on their staff and it did not show! The decor is so darling- tons of photo op spots. The only other zonk is it is extremely loud inside. We were all screaming over each other because there is nothing to soften the noise. We joined the waitlist at 10:45am, but we were 17 in line, so we waited almost 2 hours to eat here. The space is small, so the place gets pretty loud even if 2 tables start talking. We ordered their Blueberry Matcha, Breakfast Burrito, and Grilled Chicken Sandwich! Blueberry Matcha was weak, and I couldn't really taste the matcha that much. Definitely taste the blueberry, though. I am a caffeine addict so maybe I just needed something a bit stronger. They have alternative milk (almond milk, oat mill, etc.) for the lactose intolerant people. The chicken sandwich was dry and bland, so I was glad I ordered the bacon. It helped! You get to choose between grilled chicken and fried chicken, and I think fried chicken would've been the better choice or ask for more condiments. The breakfast Burrito was delicious and loved the crispiness of the potatoes! We also added the gravy. The gravy is not just any ordinary gravy. It had a cheesy flavor and accommodated well with the burrito! Definitely need to go back to check out their other items. It was fairly crowded when we arrived just after noon on sunny Saturday. But we got lucky enough that a table opened up and we were seated very quickly. Our server came right over and took the drink order, with both of us ordering black coffee. Which when it arrived was delicious! Looked at the menu and I picked out something for the breakfast menu because I thought that was all-day menu, but that's the next section (breakfast only, it was noon). I've been to Pink Willow twice now and both times have been a fantastic experience! They're usually pretty packed so there will possibly be a wait but they also have a couple bar seats as well. This is a really cute place and a great addition to Cottleville. I highly recommend utilizing the waitlist on their website, as this is a smallish place. Because we used the waitlist, we were able to be seated as soon as we arrived. It had charming decor, lots of pink and definitely Instagram worthy. There was plenty of street parking when we visited at lunch time. It is disabled accessible but seating inside could be challenging if you use a wheelchair or mobility aid, as the tables are close together. It might be easier to sit outside on the patio. Also, if you use hearing aids, the inside can be very loud when they are busy. The have an all-day menu, a breakfast menu available until 11 am and a lunch menu after 11 am. They are open only for breakfast/brunch/lunch. I started with a cold brew with cream and the honey lavender syrup. The coffee was smooth and quite good. My server recommended the BBQ salad with added grilled chicken and it was incredibly good. Service was top notch by our server, Marina, and all of the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. I came across this cute brunch spot in Cottleville. Apparently they just opened this past Wednesday. I love their decor and that it coincides with their name. We were really disappointed with our experience. We ordered drinks and a cinnamon roll to share before our main dishes. It was brought out without any silverware or even napkins. Since it was a sticky, shared item, we weren't about to dig in with our hands. Our waitress stopped by shortly after, and when we asked for silverware, she said she'd bring it right out. Unfortunately, she didn't return for about 10 minutes. By the time we finally had utensils, the cinnamon roll was completely cold. She offered to take the dish back to the kitchen to reheat it, but it was returned unchanged because we were told it was against health code to bring food back into the kitchen. She then asked if we'd like her to check with the manager about getting a new one, and I said yes. The manager came out and told us it was a very popular item and they didn't have any more to replace it. The only solution offered was a to-go box with reheating instructions - not helpful for something we ordered specifically to enjoy there before our meal. So we ended up eating it cold, and it remained on our bill. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable - just to enjoy the dish as it was intended to be served. Losing a customer over a $6 cinnamon roll feels shortsighted. It's disappointing that such a simple issue wasn't handled better. read more

Since we had never been there we did not know they would have a wait list an hour long... they were so awesome and found us 2 seats at the "counter". (You can get on the wait list ahead of time on their website). This place is adorable! So much pink! I am definitely planning to come back for a brunch with friends! We both had sandwiches from the lunch menu. Our server was named Drew, she was awesome and super helpful as my daughter had many questions and was sharing details about our Girl Scout event and Drew listened to everything she had to say. I believe they have a rooftop section and there are some tables outside but it was raining when we were there so inside seating was the only choice.
