Owner/manager is literally so sweet, always chatting with customers, checking in, and giving recommendations! Their hibiscus lemonade I wouldn't write home about it but good enough. Our sandwiches were the same. We also got the French toast but we were full from the sandwiches! French toast was a little thick for me but I know for some people that would be perfect! There were lots of regulars, so clearly the place is popular! Go and try them out.

Good prompt service! If you like eggs made in so many different ways, this is the place for you. I had the veggie Supreme wrap (around $16) and it was very tasty; light like what I needed for a breakfast. It had a good amount of egg, Avocado, onion, Mushroom and spinach. In my opinion, i would like a bit more flavoring with salt and pepper. There was some dressing dripping from it so I'm not sure if it's good to take on the go. They had ample seating but when me and my friend got there at 9am; we had a brief wait of like 12 minutes to get a table. I would definitely recommend!

Super busy spot but did the best to give the best and fastest service. Love coming here for breakfast! Yellow interior wakes me up and keeps me smiling while I'm there!

Decided to try Eggcellent after being in the mood for brunch and seeing a couple of promising posts on TikTok, it was great! To start, I ordered a honey suckle latte and my bf ordered a Vietnamese coffee. We would rate both 8/10. Both solid. For food we ordered: Truffle avocado toast: 10/10. This is VERYYY truffle forward and I love it . You could smell it coming before it even hit the table. If you aren't a big fan of truffle I would stay away from it. Side of home fries: 10000/10. Some of the best in the city! Chicken crunch bowl: 7/10. Not bad, but nothing that you can't make at home. Our server was super sweet and helpful with recommendations. I do wish water was served and refilled consistently throughout the meal instead of having to ask for it (this appeared to be the case for every table, not just us) Overall I would return and would love to try the delicious looking French toast everyone around us was ordering!

Eggcellent Café definitely lives up to its name! The French toast topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries was absolutely delicious, and the scrambled egg whites with spicy pork sausage and fries hit the spot. Even the Arnold Palmer was eggceptional! Great food, friendly service, and a place I'll definitely be coming back to. Highly recommend!

Huge menu. Flavorful food. My son loved the hot chick. The Bennie was awesome. Very busy with only one server. We would come back.

Interior-- good seating available for small and large groups.

Had an impromptu morning breakfast with friends here early on a Monday morning. As expected, crowds were little to none, and was mostly the group of cops enjoying their morning shift breakfast. This is my second time here in the past few years. Table services was great. Ordering was fast once all of us arrived, and we got our food shortly afterwards. Food is pretty delicious, and there's a good variety on the menu. I was so ready to start eating that I forgot to snap a picture, but our table ordered a Mexi Hash, Iron Hash, and the Eggsplosion Burger. Overall, food is delicious. I think the portion size to price ratio is a bit wanting, especially if you're just looking for a simple breakfast, but it does seem more reasonably priced for brunch if that's what your coming here for. Ambience is great-- a bit small, but I love the brightly colored walls. Definitely helps with waking up. Heads up that parking is a bit tight, but if you're coming anywhere into Old City you should just expect that at this point, and it's of no fault to the business.

The brekkie bahn mi blew me away. This was a delicious combination of your classic bahn mi with a breakfast sandwich. They have a cash discount here, though small.

The service was amazing, such kind and friendly staff even though they were so busy. I also loved the ambiance - very warm, welcoming, comfortable, and upbeat. The food was great with big portions and good flavor! The prices are also AMAZING!!! Definitely will be a go to for us

They were busy when we went. Put our name on the list and then they texted when the table was ready. The food was delicious. Loved the potatoes and my sandwich, although the aioli on my sandwich was spicier than I expected. The staff were nice but they seemed very frazzled. It almost seemed as if they needed to have 1 more person on staff during their brunch rush... We actually got our food before our drinks, were not offered water when we sat down (and the couple next to us seemed to feel the same) It's a cute space, although there's not really space to wait inside out of the cold for your table.

Mexi hash skillet was to die for. And the Nutella latte was phenomenal I'm from NY and don't think there are brunches that match the quality and value this place has It is a bit of a wait though; especially for groups of 3 or more (prob 45 min on a weekend, put your name down), but well worth the wait

My gf brought me here while we were hanging out to celebrate my bday. This place does not take reservations so we walked in, signed in, and were seated within about 15 mins of arriving - this was on a Saturday, summer morning, before 11am. While we waited, we viewed the menu so that we could eat as soon as we were seated. I ordered a Clucker Benny and my friend ordered a small stack of pancakes with a side of cheese and eggs and potatoes. Everything was delightful and was a healthy serving size for both my friend and I. The place is small; service was fairly quick; the prices seemed reasonable although I didn't see the bill. If it's not too crowded, it's definitely worth a short wait... Side note: I don't recall seeing any turkey products on the menu but they do serve chicken (FYI to those who don't eat pork.)

We walked into Eggcellent cafe without a reservation on a Sunday morning and it was packed! We had to sign in using a kiosk to be added to the waiting list. It is much smaller inside than anticipated. After about a 12 minute wait we were seated at two seats at the window looking out to passers by. I ordered a cup of coffee ( 2/10) and De Olde Taco-(Shaved Rib Eye, Onion, Chihuahua Cheese, Scrambled Eggs, Spicy Chipotle Ketchup, Pico de Gallo, Cilantro, Scallion on Flour Taco shell, served with Breakfast Potatoes) 9/10.

We have eaten at the high tops, in the main dining room, and at the tables extending into The Harper lobby, and each area feels like part of the same unified experience. The colors and lighting inside are especially warm and inviting, giving the room a glow that feels cozy and uplifting, especially during a Philadelphia winter. Food remains at the center of the experience, and my order is always the Jerusalem bagel with egg and cheese. On the rare occasions when turkey bacon appears, I add it as a welcome delicacy and a little extra sustenance, though the bagel is already delicious on its own. The cinnamon sugar kubaneh, the chocolate chip cookie, and the Bloody Mary are excellent. K'Far has also expanded its selection of bowls and salads since we ate here most regularly, and they look consistent with the quality of everything else. These days, a full breakfast here does not always fit within our budget, but I still make a point of stopping in for OX Coffee, which is delicious and, happily, roasted in Philadelphia. The Yemenite latte is another distinctive pleasure, aromatic and satisfying without feeling like a novelty created merely for attention. The staff is consistently charming, welcoming, and composed, and the team's continuity and energy suggest that people genuinely enjoy working here. When our budget allows, I will absolutely return to eat. Perhaps the clearest expression of K'Far's brilliance arrives in one memory from a cold, radiantly sunny Saturday, when "Inspector Norse" by the Norwegian producer Todd Terje comes through the speakers as the restaurant buzzes around us. The track, the worldly crowd, and the aroma from the kitchen create the elusive feeling Steve Cook and Mike Solomonov understand so well: people go out to eat because they want to feel seen and be briefly transported into a more vivid version of life. I already love K'Far and The Hoxton as separate brands, so seeing them come together at The Hoxton in Williamsburg feels like an unusually natural and exciting partnership. Creating this kind of social magnetism inside a bakery and café is a subtle achievement, and Philadelphia is richer for having a place with this much flavor, warmth, and personality.

Our server Rachel was lovely and gave us a rundown of their specials and the menu's top hits. Our drink selections ranged from as boring as a Diet Coke to as fun as a seasonal lemonade. We were all content with our choices, though we puttered around making suggestions from their large drink menu. I typically go for a savory breakfast, but the stuffed brioche French toast was speaking to me. I can never turn down banana! The rest of our table ordered avocado toast (x2) and fried eggs with bacon. Everyone was really happy with their choices and an added bonus was that our food came out quickly. I insisted everyone at our table try a bite of my massive stuffed brioche French toast and the consensus was that it was ridiculously good. Though this spot is tiny, it is not to be missed.

Luckily, we found street parking right next to the restaurant, which was a nice surprise. When we arrived, the wait for a table of three was about 45 minutes. That's somewhat expected for a popular brunch spot on a weekend. Once seated, the service was prompt. Our waiter stopped by quickly with waters and took good care of us throughout the meal. I ordered the House Angus Burger with sweet potato fries. It was solid, flavorful, and definitely filling. My friend got the Bella Vista Omelet with home fries, and we both agreed that while the food was good, it felt like standard brunch fare rather than anything particularly memorable. Based on the long wait and the hype surrounding Sabrina's, I think we were expecting the food to really stand out. In my opinion, the dishes we tried were comparable to what you'd find at a quality chain brunch spot like First Watch. That's not necessarily a bad thing, the food was satisfying, but it didn't quite justify the lengthy wait. That said, the menu has plenty of more unique and creative options that we didn't try. I'd be open to coming back and ordering one of those specialty dishes next time. Overall, I left satisfied with the meal and service.

There's a grand staircase that walks down into an even bigger and more open area. Up first, was a $9 hot chocolate and a $23 Bluecoat (Dirty Martini with blue cheese olives). The martini was perfect, exactly how I like it with tiny slivers of ice shards. Second, I had a $30 Gold Espresso Martini with vodka. It was also perfect. Probably the prettiest espresso martini I've ever been served. The leaf design in your drink is pretty sweet. Tons of dates here, anniversaries, vacationers, and people super dressed up.
