*New* Double Chocolate, Dreamy Dulce De Leche Froyo, Dark Chocolate Chips, Coconut, Graham Cracker, Almond, Chocolate, Caramel, Cool Whip!
    Rachelle P.

This afternoon my boyfriend and I stopped in after ordering pizza next door at Pieology. I ordered their *New* Double Chocolate Froyo with Dulce de leche Froyo, topped with Hershey's Dark Chocolate Chips, Coconut Flakes, Graham Cracker Crumbs, Blue Diamond Almonds, Hersheys Chocolate and Caramel sauce and Cool Whip! It taste similar to s'mores minus the marshmallows, probably the best combination I've had! Did I mention the Double Chocolate is made with Ghirardelli and has no artificial colors or flavors! Order this and thank me later! I would highly recommend this location Support local, especially now when they need our business the most! We'll definitely be back when we're in the area and craving some Froyo! Happy Christmas Eve!

Been here a couple of times. After devouring sone Mexican food down the street, I was craving something sweet so I dragged my friend here. They have a great selection of fro yo flavors. I'm a huge fannof their vanilla and salted caramel. They also have a great selection of toppings to choose from. I usually go for the crushed kit kats or reeses and the cheesecake bites. Overall, the restaurant is clean, they have seating indoors and outdoors, bathroom was clean and the froyo hit the spot. Employees I've interacted with have always been super friendly and quick. No complaints about this place. When craving froyo, this Menchie's location will be my go to. Also, there is plenty of parking since it's a big shopping area.

My all time favorite frozen yogurt spots in Folsom. I've tried other frozen yogurt shops in Folsom, and this is hands down the best. There's no restriction on how many toppings you can add. The only downfall is, they only have one cup sizes. I wish they had smaller cups so I'm not always tempted to fill up my cup. (:

My husband and I happen to be in the area and noticed the new sign advertising frozen yogurt. We dropped in to find out that it was their pre-grand opening day. The ladies behind the register were very nice, cheerful and personable. They even let us sample whatever we wanted without watching over us like hawks. Other froyo places like to stand and give the samples to us (I think to restrict the sample consumption). I think I must have tried all ten of the flavors. When we were there, my husband and I sampled the nutella, mocha fudge, strawberry, pineapple, mint chocolate, vanilla and a few others. All very good. They even have freshly made waffle cones! Oh my goodness. Would definitely come back for more! I really appreciate that their products did not have high fructose corn syrup or GMOs either! Their toppings were also on point! Love the peanuts, mochi and fresh fruit toppings!

My kids love this place, lots toppings to choose from, but not much fruits. I like this yogurt places vs many others, because they have big selection of flavors, yesterday they had 8 or 10 different choices. Your kids will love it for sure & if you have a sweet tooth, you also will enjoy it!

    Loving her creation!!

We noticed the mango and they said the mango paired well with their sticky rice. I had to pause. Sticky rice gelato?? I was definitely sold! So obviously we had to get the mango sorbet and sticky rice. We also got the mango and lemon meringue. Each cup came with a mini cone or a wafer and we picked a cone. The sticky rice and mango sorbet were like heaven. Literally heaven. I'm never in Folsom but I will need to come back for this flavor. The idea of making sticky rice into gelato was genius but then combining with mango was just next level. I will be dreaming of this flavor. We were enjoying it so much I never got to take pictures. That's when I know something is good. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. They were lots of regulars coming in and out. The store is also adorably decorated and clean. There's a good amount of seating inside. Again if we lived near by we would be here all the time!

I then used the same sample cup to put ice cream in there, and then he yelled at me to not do that and called me "disgusting" this was very rude. My perspective is anyone else would do that, its like reusing a soda drink at fastfood, if not better. The sample cup wasn't even touching the machine and he was acting like i was the nastiest person on earth. This is my first time writing a negative review because i never encountered such an unnecessary interaction. I feel like he couldve told me "dont reuse cups i will give you a new one" especially because i was actually trying to give him a less hard of a time by reusing the same one. Besides that, every worker was really nice to me, and i loved the yogurt. I recommend this place, but this guy made me feel embarrassed, and stupid. Honestly, thats my perspective why i thought it was okay, but i completely understand if it is unhygenic, i worked jobs that handle food, and im all for hygiene. I just thought the fact that he had to be really mean to me and embarrass me in front of friends made me feel awful, and im not even a sensitive person like that. If you see this thank you for taking the time to read this, and i really did enjoy the Nuyo.

I then said, okay well if I order a single flavor of frozen yogurt can I add the milk chocolate crunch to that? And she says, well I can sell you the milk chocolate crunch "on the side", and I'm like ok, that's what I wanted...a side of the milk chocolate crunch to add to my Dubai chocolate cup. Then she says, "no, we can't put it in your Dubai chocolate cup, we have to put it in a separate cup because we have to charge you for the side cup." I'm like okay, fine charge me but save your cup and just put it on top of my Dubai chocolate cup. Then she says we can't do that. Resigned, I said ok just put it in the side cup. She proceeds to add the scoop of the milk chocolate crunch in a small side cup, hands me my Dubai chocolate cup, and I dump the milk chocolate crunch into my Dubai chocolate cup and throw the little side cup they insisted on giving me. Where is the common sense? Both young ladies working there at 8:35 pm on Thursday April 9 did not have any common sense at all. If someone wants to add an additional topping for a charge, why wouldn't you allow them to? I purchased the exact same thing just last week without any issues. The prior staff understood, charged me for the extra topping and simply added a scoop of the chocolate crunch to my Dubai chocolate cup. Perhaps staff need to be properly trained instead of frustrating their customers, especially customers that are willing to pay extra for additional toppings.

Funny how certain places can instantly bring back memories. After finishing a movie at Palladio in Folsom, I looked over and saw a pretty solid crowd gathered around Pinkberry. Anytime I see a crowd at a dessert spot my curiosity kicks in, so I figured why not go investigate. The moment I walked in I was greeted right away, and it felt genuine, not forced. Always a good start. As I scanned the flavors one immediately caught my eye... pomegranate. That was an easy decision. I loaded it up, added some fruit on top, and just like that I was in business. The flavor was refreshing, bright, and exactly what frozen yogurt should be after a movie... light, sweet, and satisfying without feeling heavy. Between the good flavor and the friendly hospitality, it turned into a perfect little post-movie treat. Sometimes the simple things hit just right.

Every time we order takeout and get our usual Rachel sundaes, the included sides of hot fudge are consistently only filled halfway. Interestingly, when I pay extra for an additional side of fudge, that cup comes filled to the top. Because this has happened repeatedly across both the Citrus Heights and Folsom locations, it feels less like a simple employee oversight and more like a deliberate management policy to cut corners. When a Rachel sundae costs $14.99, skimping on the toppings that are supposed to come with it is incredibly disappointing. For premium prices, customers expect premium consistency. Please stop shortchanging your takeout orders and do better.

The smoothie was completely tasteless, like blended ice with almost no fruit flavor or quality ingredients. For the price, it was a big letdown. What made it worse was the owner's reaction when I politely asked whether their smoothie was similar to Hailey Bieber's smoothie from Erewhon. Instead of answering helpfully, he got visibly offended and defensive. He then launched into a claim that Tru Bowls has "been around longer than Erewhon," which came across as rude and irrelevant. (For the record, Erewhon has been operating since 1966. Tru Bowls has not been around nearly that long.) Relax, Champ, even from a girl, you are spun way too tight! The combination of a flavorless drink and unnecessarily rude service ruined the visit. I won't be returning and can't recommend Tru Bowls to anyone.
