Gross chicken salad, good mushroom barley soup. Not big on friendliness or affordability Just barely okay in my book... maybe

Delicious, authentic food!! The corned beef melts in your mouth, with the best accoutrements, sour picked and cole slaw! The mushroom soup soothes your soul!! Plus they have Dr. Brown's Cel-Ray!! A nice treat: half sandwich, soup and a soda for $25!!

    Overpriced food

Had the mushroom barley soup & it stayed warm on my walk back to the apartment. Good serving size & included Matzo which was very fresh.

Had one of the few veggie options, the grilled veggie wrap, and a square potato knish. Both were very respectable

Terrible customer service. Men behind counter were nasty and rude. Unfortunately I walked out before I had a chance to order.

Miznon is always fantastic I was particularly impressed by…read morethe extremely warm, professional customer service at the times square location. Everyone from the cashier to the man behind the grill to the guy baking a fresh batch of tahini chocolate chip cookies for us were just SO kind. They even offered us a free taste of their lemonade which was incredibly refreshing. Mia and Fusy (maybe Suzy) should be acknowledge for their hospitality, professionalism, efficiency while still very warm. The steak and eggs pita was amazing as always- this and the baby roasted cauliflower are my MUST ORDERS- you will be sad you do not- but everything at Miznon is sooo good!! This mizon is very clean and speedy, but will not rush you if you stay a while!

I got the mushroom pita and the whole roasted baby cauliflower, and both were insane. Mushroom Pita: Fresh, fluffy pita bread, with roasted mushrooms in an umami-rich tahini sauce. This was mouthwateringly good, and the mushrooms also had a great, fresh texture. Baby Cauliflower: It sounds so simple but the magic is in the execution. The cauliflower is both soft and firm at the same time; it almost melts in your mouth. There's a reason that two times we went to Miznon, they had already run out. Friendly service, and a chill ambiance. They have fresh tomatoes and long green peppers as a living decor, and they will give you a cooked pepper if you like. Take them up on their offer - the pepper is delicious (and spicy if you eat the seeds).

One would think how hard it is to make chicken soup, put chicken in the water, add salt, bring to a boil, cook for an hour. Done. Apparently whomever cooked chicken soup that I was served did not read that memo. The soup I was served was absolutely the worst soup I have ever had in my life. It got better with next coarse, but not memorable at all considering the price. $$$.

Came in with high expectations, especially for the ribeye, but the experience was mixed. The salad…read morewas fresh, but it did not deliver that classic Caesar profile. It lacked the bold Parmesan and peppercorn flavor that usually defines it. The fries stood out in a good way. They had great crunch and texture and were easily the most consistent item on the table. The ribeye was decent but not at the level you expect for a $90 cut. The temperature came out at a proper medium and there was a noticeable char, which added some flavor. However, it tasted like it had been reheated rather than cooked fresh. The bone was not hot and the fat was not fully rendered or caramelized, which took away from the overall experience. It was not bad, but it missed the mark for the price point. Service was good, which helped the experience. But, with so many solid steakhouse options in NYC, this is not a place I would go out of my way to return to.

What an experience. Didn't know what to expect from a fully kosher French restaurant, but trust me,…read moreany doubts you may have will be quelled by the time your appetizers come out. Cocktails are a little heavy on the sweetness, but the food is delicious and dessert is insane. Never had key lime pie like that in my life. Pro tip - would go duck breast over duck confit, although both were fantastic. The rack of lamb was also divine. Only criticism is that service could use some improvement, a few of our appetizers were incorrect & we felt rushed to leave at the end. But otherwise no notes, would highly recommend that anyone check this place out.

Passed hors d'oeuvres included beef carpaccio, ahi tuna tostadas, short rib gnocchi, and patatas bravas. For dinner, we were given a choice of three appetizers: roasted caufliower, lamb riblets, or brussel sprouts with lamb bacon; a choice of four entrees: duck confit risotto, ora king salmon with coconut curry, tournedos au poivre, or cote do boeuf. The three dessert options were apple streudel, affogato "al caffe", and key lime pie. I ordered brussel sprouts, duck, and key lime pie, and Eric R. got lamb riblets, ora king salmon, and apple streudel. I think he regretted offering me a lamb riblet because it was ridiculously tender and melted in my mouth. What is truly amazing is this is a meat restaurant, so the ice cream, risotto, gnocchi, and other dishes that we think of as dairy-based were non-dairy, and still completely amazing! It was definitely the fanciest kosher restaurant I have even been to in my life. The restaurant was so packed that we could not hear most of the speeches, which were given into a microphone attached to a small speaker near the bride's and groom's family's table. I do not fault the restaurant for its popularity though! The menu is really fun so I think it would be cool to return here for a special occasion. It is also located in midtown Manhattan which is very convenient for transportation. B'teavon!
