Delicious coffee for a walk along the beach! Located just under the Venice sign, Menotti's is a cute little coffee shop for a quick stop with quality coffee. They have a specialty menu along with the basics, and they all looked delicious. Inside the shop are a few tables as well if you're looking to cozy up there instead of walking the boardwalk. The staff were friendly, made good recs, and were fairly quick. We got a vanilla latte and a Spanish latte and were very satisfied with both, the Spanish latte especially. Terrible experience with the cashier, despite the coffee being amazing. I come to Venice often, and every single time I stop here because the coffee is absolutely delicious. But today I was completely shocked by the behavior of the cashier/barista. I bought a coffee and a cookie, and I politely asked for just a tiny bit of milk on the side , literally enough for two small sips ,for my 2-year-old child. He told me it would be an extra $2. I said never mind, because charging $2 for a few drops of milk makes no sense. What surprised me even more was that while making my cappuccino, he intentionally poured the leftover milk down the drain right in front of me instead of giving me that tiny bit for my child. When I commented on it, he laughed in my face. Extremely rude, unprofessional, and petty behavior. I love the coffee here, but after this experience with the cashier, I'm honestly shocked. Needed coffee after a disappointing latte somewhere else. Recently heard of the Spanish Latte and was excited to see it on the menu here. Order it. It has a lovely blend of mocha and cinnamon. The espresso is robust so you can still taste it (sometimes places have such watered down lattes) and the milk is creamy and rich and pairs well with the sweetness of the mocha. $8 for a Spanish latte?? HA! This used to be a specialty of theirs but now many other local coffee shops are making it for $6. The only edge they have now is location with cool patio seating. Went with the "most popular" - Spanish latte- made with condensed milk. It was ok. I'm just being honest and not intending to come across nasty. I've been to tons of coffee shops and this one was the least impressive. Espresso was not memorable. One guy with a beard didn't seem all that friendly. Like, who doesn't say hello to customers as they walk in or approach the counter? No pastries, small bites, nothing. Spent 14 bucks on two lattes with no substitutes The outdoor seating area was cute. Sorry, just not impressed or convinced by these other reviews. Menotti's shows up on a lot of LA's best-of coffee lists, and I definitely understand the praise. It's definitely a good 3rd wave coffee shop with some serious espresso and a lovely interior. My barista was charming and friendly, and I enjoyed an iced Bees Knees from their Specialties Menu (it wasn't super overpowering for anyone concerned about the floral flavors). I definitely want to try their hot drinks next time! They also have a small parking lot in their back which makes picking up their coffee to go quick and easy! read more

I only came here once since I was in the area and it was on my bookmarks of places to try. The line is long but moves quick. Super nice people working here and the Spanish latte was absolutely amazing. I would come here again and get it for outdoor seating as well as try their other other items. Ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte w/ Oat Milk around 2pm and there was no wait!! The staff was super nice and helpful when it came to deciding what drink to get and I liked my drink a lot. This is a fabulous coffee shop in Venice beach just off the strand. These guys know coffee. I ordered a decaf mocha latte and my friend ordered a piccolo. Both drinks were excellent! My coffee had an awesome chocolatey richness with just the right amount of sweetness. There is a large outdoor area for sitting and enjoying the drinks. The prices here are very high. My drink was $8 which is the most I have ever paid for a decaf mocha latte but it sure was yummy, and yes, it's Venice beach so the entertainment is free! read more

This is a really tiny shop close to the boardwalk and main Venice "entrance" is, so it is a very convenient location for those who are visiting and want to see the frequented infamous vantage point of Venice Beach. Tourist trap location aside though, Menotti's is actually able to deliver a decent cup latte. The Spanish latte is delicious, as one barista so aptly calls it their "gateway" drink which I can see from reviews now that it must be a well liked drink. It is a little on the sweeter side, which I know can be a hit or miss with some folks depending on preferences. What I do appreciate though is that you can still taste the espresso, which is a nice change from some other coffee shops when the espresso is completely masked or burnt. I do prefer roasteries where I can get fresh coffee, as nothing beats a good cup of freshly brewed coffee with freshly roasted beans, but if you want a little sweet caffeinated pick-me-up for your stroll on the boardwalk, I would check out Menottis. read more

It was a little bit too light in taste for us. Space: One large table inside and plenty of outdoor seating. There's some boardgames you can play with too! Parking: Parking around Venice Beach can be a little difficult. We found a public parking further away and just walked through Venice Beach for about 15-20min to reach the shop. Overall: 4.5/5. The iced Spanish latte was probably one of the best ones I've had if not theeeee best one I've had. Rich in flavor, delicious and perfectly blended w cinnamon! The servers were fast prompt and kind. As soon as you order, they make it! Ain't that something? The shop was nice, not too big however there are seating outside as well with some umbrellas. Menotti's is really notti with their coffee and savories, if you know what I mean! Their coffees have a kick to it, (so is their pricing actually)! I got an oatmilk latte with a hint of vanilla and my bf got a Spanish latte, oh so delicious! We got a Large (ordered online), and when we both got our coffees, we thought it was a mistake because it was more like a Small. My large ($5) oatmilk (+$1) latte with a hint of vanilla (+$1) was $7...very expensive for what I would consider a normal small size cup. As for the food, during weekdays, their food menu is limited to the bakeries. However, on weekends, they have notti food goodies via Arepa stand (next door). You can go on their Yelp page to click the link to their menu to order online. I fount it much more convenient (if your order has food). The Arepa Stand Pop up is 9AM-3AM Sat/Sun. The notti, which is a Venezuelan tradition, is so yummy here! I got the Notti's which includes fried egg, avocado, plantains (hey there vegan!), and crema. If you order online, it might get confusing a bit because they include "add-on" for all of the items i listed above. However, those are extra. Your OG Notti's already comes with all of those so don't click these items again, you will get them as extra. THe $13 OG Notti's already included all of them. Would recommend if you're in Venice and want to check out local coffees and the Notti's (if you're there on the weekends). Prices are high though. Staff are super friendly and they make your coffee fast! My lower star ranking is more on the pricing overall. Would've been a 4 stars if their pricing was normal..Maybe if you order iced, the cup would've been bigger.. read more

Tiny little coffee shop on Windward just before you get to the Venice Boardwalk. It has seating inside for maybe 6 to 10 people. But plenty of outdoor seating. The coffee here is very good and very expensive today I had a green tea instead of coffee. 12 ounces of water and one jasmine tea bag for five dollars. Rent is very expensive in Venice. So many regulars come here that the workers know exactly what they're having and have it ready for them You will have one of the best coffees ever here. read more
