While I love the suit my experience with the staff today was much less than desirable. My previous experience with Men's Wearhouse a number of years ago was amazing service and this was looking for someone to assist in the fitting of the jacket and pants. Well, Been here quite a few times and always walked out with a suit usually but this time with the clearance suit I spent time measuring with tailor and manager, suit was 200$ and getting ready to pay and surprise surprise 285$. Mike said this is what we've always done.... no sir re. Never ever have I paid 85$ for a tailoring fee. Sorry gents. Very quick to let me walk, them social/ and customer service skills for sure were not top of mind for this man today.. I've always had wonderful experiences where I've been treated very very well here. This time it was not good... never good to have a surprise when you go to the register, and worse when you feel like you were a transaction. I have been going to Men's Wearhouse for years. This week I took my worker there to get a suit and the short bearded guy was awful. He knew nothing and told me the guy shirts are over there. No setting up shirts and ties making sure he looks good. When I made a comment he walked away and said this is your area. I was surprised that these kinds of shops were still in business. The last time I tried to look for a suit was high school prom! There were alot of options and colors...just not in my size or body type. In the end, I settled for a black shirt and pants, which I requested to have tailored. Then, asked staff to help me pick out shoe and a tie to properly prepare for a wedding coming up. Didn't get a jacket because I don't foresee me using this more than a handful of times, especially for the $400+ price tag. Definitely would come here again, makes my life so much easier when people who actually know clothes pick it out for me. I need to update my wardrobe anyways. read more

I had such a great experience here! My fiancé and I came in to get a suit for our upcoming engagement shoot. Since shared time off is a rarity, we brought our nearly 1 year old son along for the trip. The employees at Men's Wearhouse were so welcoming and charmed by our baby! Even when the little one lost his patience and wanted to move around, we never once felt uncomfortable or unwanted, or that our presence was unwanted! My fiancé ended up getting a custom made suit ordered for our engagement shoot. Every detail was patiently described, every possible option was explained. And there was absolutely zero pressure to go with a certain look or price. The whole experience of measuring and creating to look of the suit was relaxed, easy, and fun. They really took their time to ensure my fiancé got what he wanted. We were not rushed to make a decision, and I absolutely loved how they are a family (children) friendly business. Overall the customer service from start to end was awesome. His suit arrived upon the timeframe promised, and was altered in the timeline process. We will definitely go back to Men's Wearhouse when it's time to get tuxedos for our wedding. read more

Ordered a $500+ custom 3 piece suit 3 months ahead of a wedding that i am to be the best man in. A lot of the reviews on here are about the grumpy or rude employees, but i dont care about that if the job is done correctly... They forgot to order my vest, so my suit came as a 2 piece, i had to separately order the vest for another $100. (This was 2 months ago). Also, they didnt embroider my custom message on the inside of the jacket. Just annoying, why did i waste my time making a message if they werent going to do it. Called 1 week ago and the vest was in China, the man i spoke with assured me that it would be there this week. This week I went to the store and it wasnt there, as of then the wedding was in 9 days and they couldnt even tell me where the vest was. I said okay fine i need a vest as close to the custom color as possible. So i found a color thats close enough but they had to order the vest in my size and expedite the shipping. I asked for the vest to be shipped to a store location that was closer to me (i live in Massachusetts and went to a New Hampshire location to avoid tax), no problem they said. Now today i get a call from my parents. My expedited vest was delivered to their house IN NORTH CAROLINA. I dont even know when they got that address or why it was shipped to an address and not the store I specifically asked for. Its hard for me to wrap my head around the negligence with which you must operate to screw up so many things in one order. The rest of the groomsmen and the groom had no issues with their orders and they each went to a different mens warehouse location. AVOID NASHUA LOCATION. Go to Manchester or anywhere else. read more

We had the best experience here while selecting my fiancé's wedding Tuxedo! We came looking for a Tuxedo and the staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! Briana, the Wardrobe consultant, was exceptional! She spent a lot of time with us helping us pick the right tux and accessories to go with. The store manager, Micheal, was very accommodating and helped us schedule our alterations in a timely manner! Trevor, another staff member, was so enthusiastic in helping us select the right bow ties and cufflinks! The in-store Tailors also did a fantastic job with the alterations. Prom tuxedo rental and some qualifying statements. 1. Every school in our area advised on whether or not they were having a prom with about two to three weeks notice. Therefore, this location was slammed with requests. 2. Based on size of the store and customer traffic, they were understaffed. 3. There's a mix of more experienced staff here and less experienced. There's a wide gap in age as well; and you're going to get what you get depending on the person you work with. The more experienced staff are wonderful. The folks that are here for the employee discount aren't. Unfortunately, we worked with more of the latter up front and more of the former at the end of the experience and it's the experienced staff that resulted in the review getting two stars, as they saved the day. 4. I am a customer that wears suits every day and has been absolutely spoiled by other local providers, online suit purchases and local tailoring. MW is not a place I'd normally go for my own outfitting but I do expect that when I'm taking the time for a trip to a store for an event that happens once in someone's lifetime that the staff understands the gravity of it. This makes me critical, and perhaps overly critical. About our rental. 1. Measurements taken did not match the tuxedo given. I'm firmly of the belief that the tux we were given was intended for someone else and the only reason we received the one we received was due to our pressure to meet the prom date. While I can appreciate trying to satisfy a customer, I know someone else was inconvenienced to do it. Not a good thing. 2. We received an automated email advising us to pick up our tux. We waited a day before going in and once we arrived were told that the tux was not in and could be in the next day. This reinforces the thought that someone else who was equally inconvenienced, ended up getting our tux due to getting into the store before we did. Unlike point one where I actually compared measurements to final product -- this point is speculative. 3. The last negative comment is on attitude. We were upsold into a 220 dollar tuxedo because the specials advertised on MW.com "were not available in store". I did question this, and at the point where the sales staff was questioned, the level of service dropped through the floor. I opted not to escalate to management as there was a five deep line behind me and we went on with our day at the higher price. I left with the feeling that sales commission was all this person cared about. Probably not fair, as the person was under stress; but it's how I felt. The only reason we went to MW in the first place instead of a more well-regarded brand like Goulds in Acton was that the MW ads hit our email box the day we were told of prom. We would have avoided this entirely otherwise. Lesson learned. Now for the positive: 4. Considering the delays, we had to put a rush order in on our fixes. This is where I started feeling like a customer, as Michael took over and the nonsense that was happening to us stopped. We had all of the right things within a day and at no additional cost save for the rush fee for FedEx. 5. Going back in the next day, things showed up exactly when they were supposed to and were the right things. Again, a more experienced employee took care of me and this was great. Same with drop off. So about the rating. The staff at the front of the transaction deserve to be fired. It's bad enough that were they my staff and I was working the floor with them I'd fire them up front and do the work myself due to trust issues. That's a one star and if I could give them a negative rating I would. It's only out of courtesy that I avoided naming them here. (and I waited a week before posting this so I wouldn't. It was that frustrating.) The staff at the back of the transaction were outstanding and deserve five stars. Purchased a men's belt at this location and today while trying to put it on the metal buckle popped off the belt making the belt unable to be worn. Should have known "made in China". Went to store tonight to ask for exchange due to faulty craftsmanship and was turned down by the MOD. Still purchased the same exact belt as I'm a creature of habit and don't have time to shop around for a different belt. $40 down the drain. read more

Another excellent experience at the Nashua Store I was greeted again by Alexander Brown one of the stores employees. Every time I go there, I leave with a lot of great clothes. This time I needed to get summer and spring clothes. Great selection. Looking forward in going back! I'm hooked on this place, no other clothing store in the industry that treats you like your royalty. My mother started buying clothes for me at Men's Warehouse in Nashua. I'm not sure how she went from freaking out about my style of clothing to shopping here, but she loved it. The manager helped her pick out a few shirts based on the assumption that my mother and I are the same size. (We're pretty close to the same size.) Unfortunately, some of the sweaters she bought me just didn't cut it. So, with great hesitation (I was totally freaked out), I decided to exchange them for a suit. When I entered the store, the manager approached me directly and offered to help. I felt like I was getting star treatment. The employees got my partner water and found a seat for her while I was measured. About a year later, I went back to this store to buy a custom shirt. The manager remembered my suit purchase and treated my mother and I with the same enthusiasm as the last visit. He even sympathized with my difficulties with shopping, since he considers himself a small man. If you shop here, you will be approached by sales people, but they are not pushy. I'm not sure about other locations, but the Nashua store is great. Who knew Men's Warehouse would be such a great place for a little lesbian to shop? read more

There is a first time for everything AND this is the first negative review I have ever written. I usually only repond if I have something positive to say BUT my experience at Men's Wearhouse in Nashua, NH was exceedingly poor. I keep questioning myself, was I rude or pushy, were my grandsons not behaving well ?? We were not greeted upon entering the store. It seemed chaotic. I did approach a sales employee just to ask if there was a sign in process and was told ' no someone will help you.' We finally found children's suits on our own and started trying on jackets for size. A young woman eventually 'helped' us but didn't really. There was no measuring .... she actually told us to wait until closer to the event date BUT I had called the store to see if appointments were needed and was told 'no but inventory was low so we better get there soon.' What was so confusing was the boys are twins and have always worn the same size. She said one boy was a 10 and one was an 8. Wearing different sizes made one look too small and one look too big. She did find pants for the boys to try. In the fitting room, I took off the heavy shirt one boy had on and had him try on the jacket. I wanted her opinion and she was busy on the phone so I asked another gentleman standing there if the jacket fit. He said he should have on a shirt - I thought he meant to get the proper sizing - I said I just took it off because it was so heavy - he said I'm going to have to get that jacket cleaned now - in front of everyone - I was sooooo embarrassed and apologized profusely. The store didn't have the blue color in their size so we were not going to purchase the color tried on. Our original sales girl said she knew the jacket would fit, you didn't have to take his shirt off, she took the heavy shirt into consideration. She didn't even realize IT WAS THE OTHER TWIN !! Men were trying on shirts and pants .... are they laundered after every try. I was really flustered .... we had determined the sizes .... but still undecided on color. Unfortunately we will NOT be buying suits at your store and my daughter and I won't ever be going back, nor our husbands. I am retired from a position that depended on customer service to survive ..... our customers could be very difficult ..... I say this only so you recognize it is something I know businesses struggle with. The Nashua store could use some training. read more

They might be good if you are just going in to order one suit off the rack but if you are ordering for a wedding party GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! Every time we go in we are there for an hour while they run around and try to find things. They cannot keep anything straight on who has ordered what and which guys have picked up there stuff or who is still waiting for pieces. One person will call and tell you everything is in but you show up and they say it is not in. I am generally very laid back totally opposite of the the stereotypical bridezilla but they have me ready to snap. Once I am done with this order never ordering from there again! read more

Started in February to get suits for myself and 6 groomsmen. Had to go back roughly 15 times because the so called manager did not do his job correctly. Everything was not in size time after time and had to have my groomsmen take even more time off their schedules to get things fixed. My wedding was in July and it took to the week of to get things straightened out. Was honestly one of the worst experiences I've had. Will not go back even if it's free since they will mess that up also. The attitude the "manager" gave when he knew he messed up was just embarrassing. I feel sorry for him. Initial service was good. Ordered three tailored suites that were supposed to be ready on Friday. Called store to confirm on Thursday and was told yes they'd be ready. Showed up on Sunday and was told they would not be ready till Monday. Pathetic customer service. Worst of all they did not tailor my suites as requested when all was said and done. Great service and quality clothing. Bonnie was very helpful fitting for suits, shirts and assisting in recommendations. All her choices were spot on and sizes were near perfect on each recommendation. I have gone here 3 times in over a ten year period and always been pleased. They take the time to help make sure you are fitted correctly and also are on time when they say your suit is ready for pickup. Highly recommend. read more

I went there to rent tuxes for my wedding for myself, my groomsmen, my father-in-law and my father. We were measured several times and we were told we can pick up the tuxes 5 days before the wedding. When we went for pick up, one groomsman's pants were too long, the others, too short. My father-in-law's jacket was way too big and my father's jacket sleaves were viseably uneven. These mistakes were luckily fixable and the tuxes were ready the day before the wedding. The biggest problems with all the tuxes, a problem that could not be fixed was the quality. The tuxes they had were old and beat up and just looked disgusting. Now I now understand that when you are getting a rental tux, it's one that's been worn before. But I guess I was naive in not knowing that rental really means abused, and disgusting. What I ended up having to do was to purchase the tux which cost $740 3 days before the wedding. Because the one thing you want to do days before your wedding is get stressed out about your tux and get stuck with having to buy one. I am not saying don't go there but if you do, know that the quality of the rental tuxes is terrible and that they rarely get the sizes correctly the first time...Even if you get measured twice. read more

This review is about an experience that we had last year for the prom season. My parents had purchased a tuxedo set for my brother already, as the price of one turned out to be close to the price of outright renting one. However, he needed a different colored vest and tie in order to match with his prom date. We called the store in advance to see if we could rent just the vest and tie, and they told us it was just fine. After arriving though, the person that helped him was extremely rude and was not willing to rent just the vest and tie. He made my brother step to the back to be measured and fitted, and added on the ENTIRE tuxedo set AND shoes despite our protests saying that we already owned over half of the items he added to the rental. In the end, the rental ended up costing four times as much as they had quoted us over the phone. After arriving home, I actually contacted Men's Wearhouse's corporate through their website and through their support chat, they were able to modify the order to just the vest and tie - what we had originally been asking for over and over. For this reason, they get one extra star. Also, when we were returning, the manager was actually a very nice and pleasant woman. Surprising how rude and nasty her employee was. We tried Men's Wearhouse this year because the school sends them notification in advance so they are prepared for a large order. Just left Men's Wearhouse with my fiancé. Lauren the formalwear manager is an absolute professional and so great to work with. She answered every question and listened to every concern. She provided great guidance and insight to help us pick out tuxes for our wedding. We have 6 men in our bridal party and rentals for two dads and Lauren helped navigate us through all of the options on colors and patterns. I recently purchased a sweater online to give to my husband for Valentine's Day...even paid additional shipping to get it in time. I got an email the next day cancelling my order. I was told to go to my local store so...I did in the hopes that they would have it. No luck. When I told Lauren (one of the managers) what happened, she immediately got on the phone to Pennsylvania, found the item, and had it overnighted to me. Lauren went over and above for a $30 item. From walking into the store and being uncomfortably pushed to buy suits out of the price range of the group, to charging them extra money for supercrease and cuff tailoring that was not done, to not including ties and shirts were with many of the suits when they were picked up...Etc etc...needless to say, yes, there is always a higher charge when you attach the word "wedding" to any price tag, but this experience was beyond what could've been expected, and men's wearhouse created more stress for the groomsmen than necessary. read more

With the exception of large department stores, the selection of men's jackets and suits at a variety of mega-chains tends to be pretty sparse, both on merchandise and customer service. I've purchased sports costs from this particular outlet in the past...time to get some replacements. After seeing an ad on line for their 'but one, get one free' sale, I took the bait and went. The gentleman that helped me was attentive, listened carefully to what I was looking for, and helped me till I found it. Customer service of any kind, in the retail environment, is rare. Terrible! I brought my brother here for his senior prom and everything was ok to begin with. The short guy who did the measurements was't the friendliest of fellas but thats whatever I'd be pissed if I worked there too. We put our order in--nothing too confusing or overwhelming; no vest and a bow-tie instead of a regular one. A few days later I realized the bow-tie didn't match his dates dress so I tried to change it over the phone. It's against their policy; no big deal. I went up to change it personally and paid for it and got everything all set. Day before his prom we went to pick it up and we saw the pants are the wrong fit and the wrong color bow-tie. It wasn't even the original one we picked- something totally askew from what we wanted. They scrammbled to find the right one and they said they may have to over-night it which was totally unacceptable; prom was the next day and I work 8-5 and he was taking pictures at 3. After a while and my brother wanting to say something they finally found one laying around but they were so nonchalant about it. I would never recommend anyone going there, and I certainly wouldn't bring someone I care about there again. read more

I want to warn anybody that is considering doing business with this location. The manager definitely doesn't give a you know about treating customers fairly. I was over charged for a rental and the only way I found out is because me and the rest of the party chatted about it. Come to find out I'm the only one out of the party of 4 that got overcharged. A poor tux rental experience and manager attitude. The wrong size tux was ordered (discovered at pickup). The manager admitted that a "typo" was made on the pant size and we'd have to come back the next day to get the correct size. The next day came and it still wasn't available because they couldn't get it delivered. It finally came in hours before my son's prom started (the following day). When asked if something would be done for all hassle we went through (seeing as it was their fault), the store manager simply told us that nothing could be done. While the tux itself was fine, the hassle factor was high. Needless to say, we will never be back and won't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Stay away from Men's Wearhouse because they SUCK. They charge you alot of money. Provide poor service and poor quality products. The 6 tuxs that we rented were like a cheap Halloween custume , but the worst of all the silk shirts were never laundered or dry cleaned. So an hour into the wedding the best man and two of the grooms had to change out of their suits because they smelt like rotten sneakers. I typically only Yelp regarding spectacular foodie experiences however I was so impressed with the service at this store that I had to write about it. Let's go back a little to July when this all started.....my fiancé just got a new job and needed to go invest in a wardrobe appropriate for this new position. Any one with a big & tall size guy knows it's difficult to find clothing that fits. We went to men's warehouse in Burlington. Long story short we ended up spending around $2300 on suits,dress shirts,shoes,ties etc and the whole experience was horrible. We were pressured into purchasing items that were not the correct sizes because that is what they had in stock and honestly there aren't too many places to shop for his size. Fast forward 6 months we have a closer full of dress shirts that he is uncomfortable in every day because the manager we were working with insisted he was a 19 inch neck,well he's not. Then in December I wanted to buy my guy an overcoat for Christmas so we went back to Burlington. Well again I was so disappointed that they tried to sell me a coat 2 sizes too big because that's all they had and then told me "oh just buy it now and you can take it in"....ummm no. I walked out. ...So...... We ended up taking a ride the store in Nashua yesterday and boy was I impressed. Before I ever said anything about my horrible experience in Burlington I was greeted by a well dressed and friendly associate named Luke. He was eager to help us find colors and sizes that we liked. He was very polite with "yes ma'am" and "you're welcome". Cal me old school but exceptional customer service will get my money....every time. All said and done he helped us pick out items that Matt felt comfortable in. Upon check out I mentioned that our experience far surpassed our last experience at men's warehouse in Burlington. I proceeded to tell Luke how to associate at Burlington had basically sold us items that clearly didn't fit just so he could make the sale.Well Luke told us to bring back those 19 inch shirts and he would more than happy to replace them with the correct 20 inch size. I was floored. He said that he wanted us to be happy with our purchases. And that's what good service is all about. Thank you Nashua Men's Warehouse. I am consistently amazed at the customer service. I just had two suits pressed there for free after I purchased them a few months ago. The sales people are all very helpful and kind, I have had Latiff (sp.?) help me most times I've been there and he is very helpful. They don't have the fanciest suits but the prices and the sales are great, but really what I am most impressed with is the customer service. read more

I had done business with Mens Wearhouse for several years prior to this week and had always been satisfied but NOT this time. My son and I went into the store in April to order his tux for prom. The service was spotty but we eventually got the tux ordered. When my son went to pick up the tux this week, he did not like how the pants fit. He asked for a different style and was rudely told that they didn't have anything else. HMMM.I thought the brand motto was "You'll love the way you look" Guess not. I had to call and speak to the manager, Mike, who was curt and rude, but agreed to get him another style of pants. Why couldn't they have done that when my son asked? I just returned the tux and the manager Mike was there. I was waiting with another young man. Mike walked right by me and went to the young man behind me to return his tux first. The young man was courteous enough to tell Mike that I was first. Mike grabbed the tux from me, handed me a receipt, grunted, and moved on. Never again, Too bad for them because I have 4 sons, not to mention a husband, who will need many tux rentals and Mens Wearhouse will not get any of these sales. I wish no stars was a rate! went in yesterday after work to buy 2 suits as they had a buy 1 get 1 for 100 deal going on. The first sales associate was done with me in 2 minutes because he had to take his Break" he was helping another customer the whole time I was there. No biggie. except my new associate SUCKED! ! told her I had 500 to spend and I went on there site and showed her the color I wanted and the price. They conveniently didn't have any of the suits I liked online and they would show me suits that were 700 or higher. she didn't understand my needs and I left without a suit. went to Burlington coat factory in Nashua off exit 6 and found the 799 suit they were trying to sell me that I loved for 160 with the vest that mens warehouse wasn't going to include SAVE YOUR MONEY GO ELSEWHERE WASTE OF TIME read more
