Do not buy from here. I came here to buy a suit for a wedding. Seb was the one who helped me out, i dont know anything about suits but he convinced me to buy a $600 suit. When i came home after picking up the suit my friend told me it did not fit well at all, so the next day i tried to return it and was denied. Was told the jacket was missing the brand tag, which I dont remember there being one at all when i tried it on. It had been less than 24 hours since i picked it up. I suspect they removed the tag so I wouldnt be able to return it... Just felt like i got scammed, avoid this place. read more

Came in at 05:30pm on a Sunday to get a suit last minute as I needed it next morning and Saif was able to make it happen. He knew what size I needed without having to do measurements and allowed me to try things on to confirm it was the right size. I even got the pants hemmed prior to closing time at 6pm. read more

When I dropped by to rent a basic tux, the sales associate appeared annoyed by my lack of interest in something more premium. He began shaming me for being cheap in front of the other customers, and was partially relieved by a more experienced colleague. However, he later handled my check-out, and charged me the full price of the rental instead of a deposit at time of reservation, presumably to get the commission he felt entitled to. The experience has definitely motivated me to fit into my old suits and avoid coming back. read more

You're gonna hate the way you're treated. This location does not live up to Men's Wearhouse standards. Do yourself a favor and drive to any of the other NoVA locations. Do not trust this location with a group event - they never placed the order for my groomsman suit and tried to replace it with a contrasting suit last minute. I was refused a status update for my suit over the phone and had to get corporate to negotiate with the managers here to help me. I was lied to every time I called - I finally got an email saying my suit order was in progress 2 months after I ordered the suit and DURING the event the suit was for. My issue was resolved after filing a dispute with my credit card company. Representatives from corporate were helpful but even they could not get this location to issue my refund. I want nothing from this review other than to inform others that this location in particular should be avoided. read more

Fantastic store. Help from Men's Wearhouse was great from start to finish. I wish I knew the young man's name who fitted us -- he call me "boss"-- was truly friendly, professional and accommodating. COVID caused some last-minute adjustments to the wedding date and the Reston staff was amazing. I spent 600$ on 1 suit 1 jacket and 2 pairs of pants. it takes 2 weeks to get the alterations done. I get the pants back and they don't fit at all. I don't understand how this could be possible when we tried on pants together in store. Upon that initial visit I stressed I needed a tie for my first day of work and upon checking out and getting home I find the tie was kept with the clothes going for alteration when I stressed how important it was for the next day. The service was great but idk how this is able to happen when spending so much in a store such as this. will not be purchasing again from men's warehouse at all after this. read more

If you ever decide to get anything done at Men's Wearhouse, go to any other location than this one. They've completely messed up something I never authorized them to do. My fiancé is active military and got his suit done in Illinois with the assumption that his groomsmen have the option to rent or buy, and this was also the impression my fiancé gave me until I brought my 16-year-old cousin for his fitting on Monday. However, after waiting for an hour and a half to get measurements and check out, due to the busy holiday weekend with promotions, I didn't realize it would cost $630+ for the whole thing. To be fair, it's for (mostly) everything - we'd only be missing socks and shoes. However, this is something my cousin will only wear once and probably wouldn't be able to fit into the following year since he's still growing. I then asked if it would be possible to rent everything else and buy the pants since those were the only thing that needed alterations. The general manager, Anila, said the option my fiancé chose - was not rentable. We could have that option to rent or buy, with another style, just not with ours. Then Anila specifically told me, "You have plenty of time to choose since the wedding is in October. I'll tell you what; I'll put it on hold for alterations because the turnaround time would also take at least two weeks to complete and get all the pieces together." She reassured me I would have time to change my mind and go in at any time to go ahead with the alterations or cancel it, as long as it was within the week. I talked with my fiancé, and we changed the suit entirely as this was no longer an option. So, imagine my surprise, on Saturday, five days later; I go into the store to return the suit, and the alterations have been done. Anila wasn't working there that day, but the conversation between another employee and me went like this - Me: Anila specifically requested alterations be put on hold until I asked for it. Employee: I'm sorry, ma'am, the alterations are already done. Me: Why? It should've taken at minimum two weeks to do. E: I'm not sure what happened, but Anila forgot to take it off the alteration pile, or she asked someone to take it out, and they forgot to put it back. Me: I understand that, but it's been five days, not two weeks. E: We just happened to be finishing up all our promotion deals and went right into starting client work. - How very convenient. He called Anila several times with no answer, and for whatever reason, there was no other general manager to assist with this situation, either. He couldn't authorize me to return anything unless Anila said so. So good for me that she called back, but I would have to buy the pants since they were technically "damaged." I also asked why I had to pay for something that, yes, I paid for but was told - by her, specifically, would not be touched until I figured out my situation with my fiancé. I even went in not even a week later, alterations were done, and it was $150 that I will never get back because I was lied to. I know the Fair Lakes location would have refunded me and never let this happen, but I chose the Reston location for convenience. Do yourself a favor - don't trust this one. read more

Second time I've had an issue with this franchise within a years time. Unfortunately, MWH has a monopoly I guess on grooms suits and seems like I had to again use their rental program with the groom of a wedding I'm in choose to do group rentals though their franchise. Apparently the location right next to me doesn't offer deposits anymore and require you to pay upfront for rentals (felt sketchy when I was informed of this recent "policy change"). So now I'm out $200+ a month and a half earlier than I expected to be. This new policy lead me to call the customer service of MWH to ensure I didn't just get hoodwinks done some scum sales associate could just cash in on some weird commission early. After waiting a 40 minute call with about 30 minutes on hold and the first representative telling me that's not normal and not sure why that happened, a supervisor informed me this was apparently just the practice of this regions stores and had never heard of this... With them not being able to do anything for me I have yet again come to the conclusion that this his is a sub par franchise and welp, reviews are all I have to relay my displeasure in hopes that maybe... MAYBE people will stop using this franchise and look elsewhere. (First displeasure with this company was a rental that was falling apart and had broken straps and buttons. They over use their rentals and don't ensure quality.) I will be posting in all formats possible. read more

My 19 year old son was in need of a business suit, and we had previously purchased a very nice one from the Men's Wearhouse in Tysons, which is now closed. So out to Reston we went, and we were delighted to receive such kind and friendly service by each salesperson, and in particular, a young man named ABE, who I believe is a manager. He was eager to help, and did so with many others as we shopped around a bit. His personal care was notable, and he had such a positive energy. I hope his managers are aware of the fine service he provides each of his customers! By the way, the suit needed alterations and they were done (a couple times) in a timely fashion, no problem. Been here twice now, most recently with my brother to buy suits for his wedding. The customer service was shockingly great. Not that I was shocked that it was great, but I was shocked at how great. Seriously, the guy who helped us couldn't have been better at his job under any circumstances. After helping us with the suits, he picked out absolutely perfect accompaniments . . . I mean perfect. The ties, the pocket squares, the cuff-links, the shirts, the shoes, the belts . . . this guy was in the zone. They were tailored in time, I honestly couldn't be happier. I went in there reluctantly because I needed a black suit for a funeral. I don't typically wear suits for work, so I explained very carefully to the salesman that I needed something very basic and that it was for the funeral of a family member I lost that morning. He proceeded to show me the most expensive black suit he had. I once again explained my situation and that I really couldn't afford to spend that much on something I would be wearing once. He then added another suit (again which I explained I don't even wear!) and said he could give me both for only $100 dollars more! Only when I asked did he show me less expensive suits, and the only reason I even saw the least expensive one in the store was because I literally pushed past him to look at some others he had not offered. When I asked about these (which were still more than I wanted to spend for a one day wearing), he mumbled something about them being made of "man made materials." Talk about a complete lack of respect for the situation. I must have mentioned my predicament 5 times, but all he wanted to do was get the highest sale he could. I am sure they have nice suits, but stay away if you are looking for something inexpensive . . . They obviously don't care if you are in mourning there. read more

Needed a pair of boat shoes for a luau I was going to a few weekends ago. They had a few on display from Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville line. I was ready to plunk $79 down for a pair. But alas, they were out of stock - of both pairs. The salesmen were more interested in watching sports on the TV in the store (I for one am getting sick and tired of seeing TVs EVERYWHERE now....even on gas pumps). It felt like I had walked into a middle school classroom? They all just stood there and talked amongst themselves while glaring at their phones. Not only did I feel ignored I felt disrespected. I bought a couple things. But I know for sure I will not Be coming back. The staff here needs to be retrained on customer service. Customer service was pitch perfect, until the suits were actually purchased. I had two suits, one jacket, and two shirts, all which required some form of alteration, and it took four separate trips until the only some of the issues were resolved, and the others remained until I took the items to a different Men's Wearhouse. On the latter items, I was in the middle of moving at the time and requested that they ship the completed garments to my future residence, which I should have apparently paid for but was not notified to do so at the time. Needless to say, I gave them a grace period of over a week, and due to the holiday I figured there may be a slight delay. The garments never arrived and I called the store to ask what was holding them up, only to learn that I needed to pay to have them shipped to my house. Granted, this would have been fine had I known this would have been the circumstances three weeks prior, when I was last in the store and gave the other associates my forwarding address. So now I have to drive 25 miles to pick up garments that should have been correct after the first four trips to the store for alterations, only after being promised that they would be shipped to my residence. Also, I am with Brian H. as far as the good service comment. If you want to buy a full suit, and are not there for alterations or any other garments or follow-up services, the service is great, but remains poor in the latter circumstance, as the associates will trip over themselves to push you off on another associate or give each other pleading looks until one begrudgingly accompanies you. read more

I like the chain. This store is another thing. I bought a suit. They lost it. I waited around for over an hour while they searched. They found the suit eventually. I spent the time walking around the store by myself. I was late for my event. When they finally found - the suit - the treatment that I got was lousy. OK I understand they were embarrassed to have lost it - I have gone through this before with this staff. When I have walked in to buy shirts - several times the staff were talking - they did not acknowledge me - I walked to the back of the store and picked up the shirts - then walked to the cash register. Waited for the staff to notice me. When they did - they asked me if I wanted anything else. I usually have to wait to pay. The staff turns over but that might be because of the staff that does not. For every good employee - there is one that ruined my visit. read more

Men's Wearhouse is just another retail clothing chain and I'm sure they treat their employees like any other retail chain and pay them the same, if not less because they're expected to make commissions, and still the sales staff treat customers with respect. If you don't work in sales or consulting or something, you're only going to be buying a suit for something you don't care about or don't want to do, and this at least was reasonably quick. read more

I have worked as a General Manager for an international hotelier for a number of years. I can honestly say that everyone I have encountered at the Reston Men's Warehouse is phenomenal. I have been going to the Men's Warehouse in Reston for several years now. The staff is exceptional and the attire is always in style with what's fashionable in the current market. Ksenia has assisted me several times and she is not from Russia, nor does she talk down to anyone. She is always kind and gives me her professional and honest opinions, which is one of the many reasons I continue to return. The other staff I have encountered there is awesome as well. They all are willing to assist me in any way they can. I have read some of the other reviews and I don't understand them at all. Sticker shock... Are you buying your suits at Kohl's or Target? The suits at the Men's Warehouse are very good quality and last. If you want a good suit you should be willing to pay $400 to $1,000. If you can't afford it, then move on. It is not possible to get the same items at Burlington Coat Factory and the same quality as you get at the Men's Warehouse. Also, you will definitely not get the same service. I have never walked into Burlington Coat Factory and thought "wow this place is so clean and tidy". Overall I give five stars to Ksenia and her team. They are all awesome and always make me smile whenever I come into the store. I don't smile very easily. read more

Very nice people, but the most unprofessional I've come across. I've spent way too much money at this Reston Men's Wearhouse for the quality and service received, and that's my fault. My clothes fall apart/hems come undone, they messed up my tux order/forgot the shoes.. I asked them to get me the same, style pants in a different color and they had no idea how to do it. My husband was fitted for his tux for our wedding at this store. We were very disappointed in the service setting up the initial wedding party and the knowledge of the staff in helping us make selections. The measuring process was a disaster which was prophetic as the resulting tux was no where near the proper size two days before the big day. I have been a frequent customer of Joseph A Banks and have received consistently bad service that I decided to try something else. Their tailoring is terrible having had to return a number of pants with poor cuffs that fell out. I have purchased four suits and a tux from MW and their tailor at the Reston store is really good. Very high quality. My only complaint was I took some pants back because they were too large and it took them two weeks to fix them where it took five days when I first bought them. Otherwise the sales staff isn't pushy and they don't fight for commission. Great store. read more

I have visited the Men's Warehouse in Spectrum several times in the past few years. On my first visit, the store manager saved my tail. On the day of a formal affair, I found my tuxedo balled up in the bottom of my closet, where it sat since the previous year. The manager pressed the entire set and sent me on my way. Most recently, I'm new to the job search and needed an interview wardrobe. I need an extra tall suit, not normally carried in most stores. I stopped in and the new manager, George (not _the_ George), took great care of me. He fit me with a set of jackets and trousers that allow me to mix & match. i Wish i've read the reviews. I went to Men's Warehouse and was helped right away by a nice younger guy. He was pretty good and honest. All of a sudden this women who also works there tells him "move i'll take care of it". Apparently she was some kind of supervisor there. Any question I asked she should answer with a question. She was very rude and not helping at all. The worst is that they were about to have a sale the next day, and she didn't even bother mentioning it....luckily the guy told me before she got in the mix. Overall experience was horrible. She was talking down to me in her russian accent and making it seem like OK to spend $600 on a crappy suit. I recently took advantage of one of the sales going on at Men's Warehouse. Upon walking into the store I was greeted by two to three different store employees. All who were very excited and willing to assist. I was in the market for a few different types of suits. The gentlemen who ended up working with me was very knowledgeable and was able to fit me and find 2 fantastic suits within about 30 min.
