I really wanted this experience to go better. We started at the Men's Wearhouse on Stevens Creek looking for a specific tuxedo for a formal event. They didn't have my husband's size, so they called another location in Sunnyvale and told us they had what we needed. Unfortunately, when we got there, the suit they had was an Executive fit rather than a Regular fit. My husband wears a Regular, so the Executive was much too large. It was frustrating because that could have been clarified before we made the trip. Since we were on a time crunch, we ended up purchasing the Executive fit and paying to have it altered. Even after the alterations, it still didn't fit properly. After spending around $750, we were left disappointed with the final result. The staff was polite, but the communication between stores could have been much better. Verifying the exact fit before sending customers to another location would have saved us a lot of time, money, and frustration. read more

Came in with our son for a suit for prom. He found the one he liked, they took the measurements for tailoring, and they told us it would be ready in a week, in time for prom. Returned a week later for pickup (today), and it turns out they never sent it out to get tailored. So our son has no suit for prom, since tomorrow is prom. Our son is pissed and so are we. You guys ruined our son's prom experience. Extremely disappointing. read more

These 2 are incompetent, Francisco and Neebir. Definitely DO NOT recommend for selection and ESPECIALLY service. We went Saturday 5/16 to purchase a suit and get it tailored for prom. To be picked up by Friday 5/22. The 2 above clowns assured it would be ready IN A WEEK. Went to pick up the suit for PROM on Saturday 5/23 and it WAS NOT TAILORED. Complete fail. I'm not typically the sort to write reviews. This is in fact my first business review. Unfortunately, the staff at this particular Men's Wearhouse assumed the worst of intentions when I went to return a suit that I'd recently purchased. The associate who spoke with me quickly dismissed the possibility of returning the suit because the tags had been removed. He assumed that I'd used it for an event, and then brought it back only after getting my use out of it; though, because of the sizing problems, I wasn't able to use it for the event intended anyhow. As I explained to the associate, I had been a Men's Wearhouse customer in the past, even at this very store, but their quick dismissal of my concerns and rude treatment will leave me searching elsewhere for my suiting needs. read more

Not only did the tux rental work perfectly given that the groomsmen were all flying in from different states, but we have continued to shop at Men's Wearhouse for a wardrobe makeover. The staff are friendly and helpful, knowledgeable in style. Quick to answer questions, staff members have made recommendations for outfit pairings based on occasion, industry, and personal preference. The clearance area is the hidden gem. We always walk away with new shirts and sweaters priced $14.99 or less. Wish more men in Silicon Valley started dressing with respect instead of the common culture of t-shirts and hoodies :) Worth checking out this store for more than just prom and wedding attire. read more

We walked into the Sunnyvale store for a suit for Prom. These guys were so so kind and helpful. I ended up having to go to a couple of stores to get everything we needed (we didn't beat the rush). At the Sunnyvale store, Stefan and other staff really helped us, took the time, offered expertise. We also went to the San Jose store where Zane took excellent care of us. It was my first time renting a suit at Men's Wearhouse. The process was very simple and fast. As soon as I entered the store, I was greeted by a worker who then led me to the rental section of the store. A worker at the rental section showed me the different suits, ties, pants, etc. that can be rented (which are different from what they sell). I showed the worker what I wanted and they gave me some suggestions. Afterward, they quickly measured my sizes for the pants, jacket, shoes, etc. I was able to try a size that fits me well for both the jacket and shoes. I requested to pick up the item from a different store (Fremont location) and they were able to complete the request with my payment. (I have a different review for the Fremont location since my experience there was quite horrible, but I'll mention some things here since I am not sure who's at fault). When I picked up my order at the Fremont location, I tried it on but it was a little bit baggy. I did not complain about it since there was a bigger issue - the pants "belt" was broken and that took nearly 20 minutes to be resolved, so I did not really have time to complain about the size issue. I was also told that I need to return the rental after the day I use it, which I thought was odd. I picked it up 1 day before my event, and I need to return it the day after my event? What if I was on vacation? They also told me that any day after will be a $20/day charge. My friend also rented at a Men's Wearhouse and he was given a week to return the rental. My husband wanted to buy a suit for our friends' wedding so he went into this store. He asked a question to one of the workers there (he looked Indian) but the worker completely ignored him. My husband ended up walking out since it seems like the workers there do not really want to make sales and help the customers. Men's Wearhouse has everything you need for work , casual and special occasions. This location is one of the better ones with friendly service and always a good selection. I usually go here during the holiday sales and get two items for the price of one or other deals. You can get good quality suits and pants for reasonable prices. I go here because I'm hard to fit and need tailoring since I'm tall. They have a decent rewards program too. An old guy years ago said go to men's wearhouse during sales and you can build your wardrobe without spending too much. Its good advice I've been following for 20 years. read more

I made multiple trips to this location in a span of three weeks for purchase, trial, returns, and alteration - dealing with different employees at every turn, and came back happy each time. At every step of the process, they were very prompt and helpful. The suit was ready for pickup after alterations in a week as they had promised. The shipping and returns process was very efficient. We went in to figure out what my fiancé was wearing for our wedding with a clear idea of what we were thinking. We were approached by the manager Eddie Parker. When we showed him what we were looking for and gave him our time line we got an immediate eye roll and a ton of attitude. He rushed us through all of our options and when my fiancé was trying on the clothes my fiancé asked about the length of the sleeves. He rolled his eyes and went back for more options, at which point he turned to a coworker who was getting off work and rolled his eyes again and gave him a "this guy look". When my fiancé asked him about his interaction with his coworker he said "you are asking a lot of questions". Isn't that what a customer do? Isn't that your job to answer our questions? This is for our wedding day and we were treated like an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. This store needs to retrain their employees. My brother went here yesterday to get a couple of suits for an upcoming wedding. He barely walked into the door and the sales person started measuring my brother at the entrance of the door. My dad asked if they could step in but the sales guy went on with sizing my brother. After sizing, my dad brought a coat and asked to get matching pants. The guy immediately replied that he did not have anything to match the coat and preferred to sell him a whole new suit. I have mixed feelings about this Men's Wearhouse. For starters, I thought that some employees were very knowledgeable and helpful while others were clueless and bordering on rude. My fiance came here to pick up his tux for our wedding, which should feel like a special moment, but we experience a lot of back talk when we asked simple questions like "could we pick up the groomsmen's tuxes today?" or other simple things such as asking when they would have his tux retailored since they made the legs and arms too short... However, having experienced David's bridal, this place was definitely a cakewalk so I commend them for at least having some level of customer service as a "chain formalwear provider" even if that level of service was bleak at best. read more

They get a two star for how they manage notifying their recipients. I haven't heard of peep from anyone on staff saying that my suit has came in. Luckily I called or else I wouldn't have known. I'm paying for the service of getting a suit by a certain time and time is not something they seem to care about here. There's always some excuse and I call bs. The 5 stars is for the person who helped me (Is name was Calum). He was working the store entirely alone for the two hours I was there, and he handled it much better than can reasonably be expected. I needed help with a shirt, vest, tie, and jacket (lots of help, idk what I'm doing), and he was willing to stay late helping me pick the perfect fit for a wedding reception I'm attending tomorrow. Men's Warehouse needs to give this man a raise/ make him manager, since he's working so hard ( at one point he had 4 different groups all wanting his immediate help), and doing such a great job at it. read more
