Do not waste your money and put your trust in this unethical business. They will take your money, ruin your garment, and deny any responsibility. For years, we have been their customers for dry cleaning services, so we are extremely loyal. This time, I asked the owner/seamstress to alter a skirt for me because they provide alteration services as well. The request was simple and straightforward: to keep the inner lining length unchanged and only to shorten the outer skirt to be one inch longer than the inner lining. I also repeatedly asked them to make sure the inner lining does not peek out and that it should not be longer than the outer skirt. They promised a delivery date, but when I went to pick up the skirt, the alteration was not done. They said the seamstress forgot what the request was, so she didn't do it. They didn't bother to call me but chose to wait for me to go to the store to then tell me they forgot what the request was. Then they promised another delivery date, and when I came again to pick up the skirt, I saw it was completely botched at the bottom. The outer skirt was cut unevenly, and in some areas, cut way too short with the inner lining showing very visibly. They kept blaming on the style of the skirt for the issue. Not once did they apologize. I was extremely upset about this, because they've ruined my skirt but more importantly, because of their 'don't care, not our fault' attitude. The skirt was handed to them in perfect condition, and now I cannot wear it anymore because the length all around is messed up. The first pic was the skirt after alteration. The second pic was before alteration. The following few images show the skirt after the alteration, and you can see how uneven it was at the bottom and some areas were cut way too short. I am not a seamstress, but I would expect any skillful seamstress to pin the outer skirt properly first before cutting the material. This just looks like someone randomly cut the outer skirt without even checking the proper length. The alteration was already prepaid. They didn't apologize or offer a refund for the alteration. I informed them that the skirt cost me $52.13 and insisted they reimburse me for it. Unfortunately, they took no action. To be honest, the skirt wasn't expensive, and I can easily buy a new one without any issue. If they had simply apologized and acknowledged their mistake, I would have just let it go. Instead, they continued to argue, claiming the skirt was longer in the front. Even with that, they could have avoided the issue by pinning it first before cutting the fabric. And, if they truly had an issue with the skirt style and didn't want to do the job or not able to handle the job, they could have called me, and I would have gladly taken the skirt back and find someone else to do it. Now, they have ruined the skirt and simply used the skirt style as an excuse. We have been giving our business to them for years, and this was how they treated us. There is no way we will go back, and I would advise anyone to think twice about using their service. read more

Dry cleaning, one of the last of the American mom and pop businesses that has managed to avoid being turned into a chain conglomerate enterprise. I love supporting these small family businesses, and this one is easy to support because of their great service and pricing. The owners are a nice, hard working couple as are their kids who help out occasionally in the back. Their prices are more than reasonable and they do a good job. My only suggestion is to be very explicit when you make special requests, such as rush deliveries. They're busy and English is their second language, so just make sure you get on the same page so you don't get surprised. I've always had good experiences here, especially with rush jobs. I just make sure to call in advance of pick up on rushes so they know I'm coming. Love this place! read more

Worst experience!! It was so bad I actually downloaded the Yelp app. I come in to pick up my items, and they ask me what color pants they were. Then started grabbing from the line asking me if those were mine. The shirts are starchy, but wrinkled. Or should I say folded. It had lines there that you would think it was in a dept store rack. One shirt had a waffle mark on the front. They said "it's the material, it came up after cleaning." These are my best shirts and only dry cleaned and pressed. I've used this place many times and never had to have them re-clean anything. ********UPDATE: I had to have 2 items re-cleaned. Ruined my rain coat. She said this always happens and can't be helped. Well why didn't she warn me PRIOR to ruining it so I had a choice??********* Prices are standard for the area (there are a plethora of low-for-the-Bay-Area dry cleaners in Sunnyvale). But I like that the cleaning is done on-premises (rather than sent off-site like some other places). The owner really prefers cash to credit cards, and I think I remember a minimum credit card charge or being charged a small fee when I didn't have cash. I have frequently been yelled at by other dry cleaners for staining my clothes (must be cultural), but I don't think anyone here has ever yelled at me, which is a good thing! You would think they would like the extra business! I have also had some alterations done. I have had some cheaper alterations in Sunnyvale, but that woman was fussy and annoyed me. (She was also so old that she could hardly see anymore - not good for a seamstress!) This woman is more no-nonsense, to-the-point, which is more my style. I tell her what I want, and she does it. Easy. The inside of the store itself is an eyesore, but as long as it doesn't affect the service and keeps the prices low, I don't care. Given that I stain so many of my clothes, I give a lot of business and spend a lot of money at these places so I need good prices! read more

I randomly started going here when I lived in the neighborhood. Even after moving to Palo Alto, I still drive down b/c they do a good job getting everything clean. They do a good job on alterations as well. THEY MADE HOLES IN MY SKIRT. Because they're either too cheap to or lazy to hang a skirt up properly, and instead used giant safety pins to hang it on the hanger. Of course they didn't even try to make it on the seam or discreet, they literally made the holes on the front where it's super visible. HAD ENOUGH AND NOT GOING BACK!! I've been a customer for over a year now and I usually go in for dry cleaning of sweaters and alterations of shirts/dresses. Frankly I don't think they do a great job at dry cleaning. I can smell my perfume on cardigans after they've been dry cleaned. But today was the limit. Last week I went in to get a dress altered (tightened) and the lady there said she was going to charge me $8 which I thought was too much since all she needed to do was run her sewing machine straight down the two sides. However, she claimed it was a lot more work as she was going to open it both sides and then stitch it. When I went in today to collect it I saw that she hadn't opened the sides but had just run her machine down once/twice. I confronted her and she gave me lame reasons. I was very annoyed and told her that she shouldn't lie and cheat her customers. You don't say one thing and do another. To this now she said she would open it (which is not the point here). Usually forgiving and tolerant, this one was beyond me. I'm never going back. read more

This place is awesome. I just had 18 shirts and pants cleaned, they did a great job and had stellar turn around time (dropped off on Sat for Mon pick up!) Also had a pair of jeans hemmed, and the front lady went the extra step to make sure they would be the exact length I wanted. I have used Saigon Cleaners' services in the past but all my good experiences were negated when they lost my shirt. I had given a literally new shirt for dry cleaning and when I went to pick it up the shirt that was given to me was not only a different brand but even a different size. The lady just wouldn't believe me when I told her that it wasn't my shirt and even wore it to show her that it was 2 sizes too small. She made me come back 3 times in hopes that the customer who accidentally took my shirt would return it but nobody returned it even after 2 months. After giving me the run-around, she finally offered me mere $20. Customer service aside, she wasn't even willing to offer me a decent compensation and very curtly said "Sorry". My experience is a reflection on this establishment's clientele and its customer service. I am not going to give it any more of my business. read more

I came into this location to get measurements done so I can get my work shirts fitted and spoke with the lady at the counter which didn't even look up at me and said what do you want ,So I paused and waited till she looked up and then told her what I needed and she then replied no no Taylor here .So then I responded are you sure the Taylor isn't here cause the last time I was here you were the Taylor then she said no no I'm too busy which came as a surprise cause you're turning away business.So then I said would it matter if you charge me just to measure me so I can at least take the measurements with me to another dry cleaners and she said no no don't want too...I gotta admit this is the worst experience ever and this wasn't the first time I received this kind of service..I would highly recommend think twice of paying for things to be done here cause customer service is key and obviously the lady doesn't know what that is. read more
