I would like to start by saying Krystle is AMAZING. This was my second place trying on dresses and she made me feel so comfortable. I went on a Wednesday at opening and there was no one else trying to dresses for majority of the time I was there. She was kind enough to spend so much time with my mom and I, I never felt rushed. Krystle also does wedding planning outside of working there, so she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with any questions I had. Honestly I would go back just because of her, she was that awesome! Overall, my experience at Wedding and Dreams was a good one. It was an absolute dream that I found my wedding dress here! My sister set up an appointment for me to try on dresses and my cousin, my mom, and one of my best friend came with us. Immediately when we arrived I loved how secure the place was, they only do one appointment at a time, not too much going on, you pretty much have the whole place to yourself which made it seem so personal and thats important to me. Our wedding dress designer consultant was Virginia and she totally knew what she was doing!!! I loved the dress she picked, initially she picked 2 dresses and one of them ended up being THE dress. I picked out about 3 different ones and tried them on but nothing compared to the first one I tried on. The tears were flowing and it was such a special moment for all of us. The quality of the dress and the way it sparkled was what caught everyone's attention. The transaction was smooth and seamless, everything is final sale of course and they do offer aftercare packages and have recommendations for alterations. I had a lovely experience trying on wedding dresses here on a Sunday afternoon. Half the store is dedicated to traditional, Filipino wedding attire for men & women and the other half for western bridal dresses. Despite the split, they still carry a wide selection of wedding gowns. Krystle was extremely helpful & you could tell that she had a lot of experience as a wedding dress consultant. I only showed her 2 photos for inspiration & every dress she selected had checked off boxes for what I envisioned. All the dresses I tried on were gorgeous & intricate which made it so difficult to decide. I appreciated that Krystle also took the time to find veils that complimented each dress. I haven't said yes to the dress(es) here yet but it's still possible. Note that this is an appointment only establishment but scheduling online was a very simple process. The front doors appear to be locked at all times for safety & security. By the time I've reached Weddings and Dreams, I've probably tried on 30+ dresses and was starting to lose hope that I'd find the one. But, I am happy to say I found my dress here and not to toot my own horn but I felt and looked beautiful in the end product. My bridal consultant, Celina, was friendly and extremely helpful. By the time I got here, I already had kind of an idea on what I was looking for and she pulled different kinds of dresses in a similar style that it was a little tough to pick one but I did and I'm glad. Almost a year ago I found weddings and dreams with the goal of finding my dress for my Dec. 2025 wedding. This was my first and only shop I had ever visit as well. Pricelle was amazing! She asked me a few details about my wedding and asked my styles I was eyeing. She put me in 2 A line wedding dresses as that was my original plan. And then she put me in a fitted dress and I knew at that moment that that was the route wanted to go instead. She knew I wanted all the glitz and glam, and understood the assignment. After 5 dresses I was set, and said yes to the dress. She also gave me multiple veil options that complimented my dress which was super helpful. Check out process was a breeze and the turn around time for my dress was about 7 months. 7 months later I came in to pick up my dress and Virginia assisted me with trying the dress on, helping me pick accessories and a veil. She also gave me the option to do their dress preserving package which I couldn't pass up. They don't do in-house alterations but they had a recommended seamstress if you wanted to go with their option. Compared to other ladies stories on finding a dress that fit their budget, I would say the price of my overall experience could not be beat. All the staff are super sweet and accommodating, and the shop itself is intimate and full of options. Really disappointing experience. While my fiancée was trying on dresses, staff were speaking about her in another language, apparently assuming we wouldn't understand. Unfortunately, the comments included fat-shaming and judgment about her body. A bridal shop should be a place where every bride feels beautiful and supported, regardless of size. My consultant, Virginia, is wonderful; she knows what she's doing by heart, and she is so sweet and patient. And out of 4 dresses, BTW, they are all beautiful and look gorgeous on me. I couldn't be happier with my dress and service at Weddings and Dreams. I was looking for a bridal store that could help me with my vision to have a western dress and removable filipiniana sleeves. I couldn't find many places in the Bay Area that were able to help and I'm so glad I found Weddings and Dreams. I only tried on dresses twice and said yes to the dress pretty quickly after trying on ten or so dresses maybe fewer. They understood exactly what I was looking for and I only tried on dresses that fit my vision. Their dresses are also very reasonably priced. It's possible to find a dress priced under $1,000 during their seasonal sales but even outside the sale, the dresses are high quality at a great price. It was easy to book an appointment online. I brought my mom along the first time. We tried on different styles of dresses to see what I liked best. I landed on something fitted over a ball gown or even A-line. I came back a second time with a better idea of what I was looking for and found my dress in less than an hour. It was perfect and within my budget. I also bought a matching veil, which I probably could have shopped around more for but the embellishments perfectly matched my dress and in the long run probably saved me time. For my filipiniana sleeves, we ordered 2 yards of extra fabric and extra lace trim just in case. I was referred to someone who could do my alterations and make my custom filipiniana sleeves. The staff were helpful in choosing the right dress size. We placed the order and waited. It can take 6 - 9 months, which is typical. They gifted me a bottle of champagne when I said yes to the dress. Within the 6 - 9 month window, I got a call that my dress was ready to be picked up. I came in the following weekend and tried on my dress. It fit almost perfectly. I needed it hemmed and the bust taken in. They offer dress preservation packages when you pick up your dress but you don't have to decide then and there. I upgraded the garment bag, which in the end I'm not sure was worth it. The garment bag zipper completely came off while we transporting my dress from the hotel to the venue. I ended up having to stuff my dress into an IKEA bag the day of my wedding but it wasn't a huge deal and now makes a funny story. My dress was around $1,600, veil was $500, alterations were around $700 and my custom sleeves were around $250. Total I spent around $3,000 for my dress, alterations, cathedral veil, custom filipiniana sleeves, and upgraded garment bag. You can easily spend $5,000 on a dress alone for comparison. My fiancé and I swung by here last Saturday in the hopes of getting him a barong for our wedding. It was a success! They had a great selection of mother of the bride dresses, baby barongs, wedding accessories and wedding dresses. It was rather affordable too. What should have been a special and exciting moment for the bride became uncomfortable because of the way staff spoke during the appointment. Comments were made that felt unnecessary, insensitive, and unprofessional, leaving her feeling embarrassed instead of supported. FIRST-TIME BARONG BUYER About five weeks ago was my nephew's wedding. His request was for the men to a barong. I've never bought or owned a barong before. My nephew recommended Weddings and Dreams because this was the place where he got fitted for his wedding. I came here about two weeks before my nephew's wedding. When you haven't bought an item before you don't want to be overwhelmed with selections. Weddings and Dreams have a variety of selections, but never once I felt overwhelmed with the selections. Each barong in stock had different designs. The first one I tried one I liked however the second one I tried had a different design that I preferred. The lady who assisted me recommended to wear a white long sleeve shirt underneath the barong. After wearing the barong to my cousin's wedding I appreciated the style and quality I got from Weddings and Dreams. I originally chose this location, to look at dresses and to get a barong for the wedding party, when we got to my appointment (10 minutes early, traveled 1:15 to get there) the rep looked annoyed we were early. We went during a sale and she didn't explain that the ones with the sale tag could not be reordered. So I wasted time trying to fit my DD into smaller dresses (remember I'm Not the expert here they should be) I told her the style we were looking for and she barely brought me any recommendations. The icing on the cake is when she tried to put the clips on to make The dress "fit" it was some sort of black bungee cord contraption that I've seen other shops use, but ..... she barely clipped it so half the dresses were falling off my back. (Can post photos and videos if needed) if you don't like your job than get a new one. The rating id honestly give it less than 1 but I gave it 2 since they did have a good barong section. We didn't end up getting one there because of the lack of customer service with the dresses. Also I was excited to try on dresses (this was my first stop) and they didn't have my name on their chalk board (sure minor detail) but it was a big deal to me when others were on it. I appreciate that the owner has reached out to try to find out who it was that helped me- but honestly does it matter? Great customer service should come from anyone not because they got in trouble from a bad rating. Not only were the dresses beautiful, but the service was absolutely top-notch. Let me start by saying - I've been searching for my wedding dress for the past few months, and I wasn't having much luck. I started to feel pretty discouraged until I randomly stumbled upon this shop on Google and decided to book an appointment with no expectations. The following day, I received a phone call and a pre-appointment survey from one of their stylists to confirm my appointment. But they didn't just want to confirm the time - they asked who I was bringing, my relationship with them, what I was looking for, how I was feeling, and more. It felt so personal! None of the other bridal shops I had been to took the time to do that, so right away I knew this place was different. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Virginia, my stylist. Working with her alone made the entire experience amazing. She was so knowledgeable, honest, and patient - yet also made me feel like I was just shopping with a best friend. She helped me find THE dress, and honestly I could say, she was my fairy godmother that day. The couple who owns the shop were also incredibly kind and genuine. Even though they weren't my stylists, they still took the time to offer their thoughts, suggestions, and accommodations in ways that most shops never would! I'm a very indecisive person, but everyone there was so patient and supportive throughout the process. Summary: 3 stars for great service prior to my appointment, having a nice dress selection, and providing a clean & welcoming space. The stylists I worked with had good taste and pulled some good candidates. I'm withholding a higher rating due to unfavorable interactions during my appointment and pushiness. For context, this was my first wedding dress try-on appointment. However, I recently attended dress try-ons for a friend at two other shops, so I feel like I have some point of comparison. I purposefully went into this appointment not expecting to make a purchase that day because it takes me time to decide on things like this and I'm fairly budget-conscious. I had a positive impression prior the appointment: online appointment system worked well, the shop communicated with me via email and text message to confirm, and they sent me an online survey form to fill out. I thought this was a nice touch, as I hoped this meant I could share my dress preferences & Pinterest board and they would be able to reference that going into the appointment. I was pleasantly surprised that I was the only appointment on the day I went in. It was quiet and clean. We were offered water and the people I brought with me were permitted to go around the boutique and select dresses they thought I might like. However, it was evident to me by how the stylists asked me about my preferences and to show any saved inspiration photos that they had not read the survey I had filled out. This was disappointing because 1) all the info they asked was already there and 2) I felt it a waste of my time given that I had completed the survey but they did not take even one minute to skim it through. The survey was a good idea but not utilized. I have informed the staff to please take time to read bride surveys that they send out in the future. The main stylist was pushy. Had they read my survey, they would have seen that when asked if there was anything else they should know to help facilitate my appointment, I had written "please don't be pushy". She kept saying "if you know you know," "you look like a bride" as she added a veil to the look, and telling me that the sale would end soon so I should buy today if I wanted a dress. I understand this is a business and they need to make sales, but pushiness was not helpful to me. One of the last dresses I tried was one I kept considering, and when the stylist asked "is this the one?" I replied that I liked it but I needed to take time and "sleep on it" (it being my decision to purchase). Her response, rather than being understanding of the time it takes me to process, was that it probably was not the one if I needed that time. I personally do not believe the lore that once you find the dress "when you know you know" because I think there is more than one dress that I could be happily married wearing. But maybe that's just me. I just felt like comments like that were unhelpful. As a bride and customer, I want to feel confident in my purchase and feel that the staff supports me in being fully satisfied as well. Wedding dresses are expensive, so it's important that you feel comfortable with all aspects of the dress - style, comfort level and ability to move, details, price point, potential additional costs of alterations. I left the store with more knowledge about the types of dresses that do and don't look good on me which was a plus, but I was disappointed by the pushiness that I and the people who came with me experienced from the stylists. My search continues. To other brides, I would say that Weddings and Dreams may work for you if you're open to exploring styles, want a decent selection of styles with a range of price points (average dress I tried was around $1600), and feel okay to handle the pushiness from stylists. Sir Albert helped my partner pick out his barong coat for our SF City Hall ceremony, and they have recommendations for alterations for both bride and groom. Weddings and Dreams was the first and last bridal shop I went to, but not for the reasons you may be thinking. I made an appt online and got few texts asking me to confirm my appt, telling me what to expect, etc. They also asked for a pinterest board and echoed back to me the kinds of dresses I was looking for and wanted to stay away from, which was great. When I showed up to my appt, I was the first of the day. I was immediately greeted by who I assume to be the owner. She asked me if I had any pictures of dresses I liked to show her. I was a bit taken aback because I had received texts that verbally echoed what I was looking for, so I mentioned that we had exchanged some texts. She said something along the lines of "I didn't get a chance to see them", so I thought okay fine, maybe someone else reviewed them. But I was also the first appt of the day- she maybe she could have glanced over them before our appt? But oh well, not the end of the world. She got me 3 dresses initially and told me to try them on with open minds. Based off my thoughts about them, she could adapt and find other more suitable dresses. She was very knowledgeable about the structures of dresses and suggested alterations that could be done (e.g. converting strapless dresses to dresses with straps) for each of them. This part was all great, but then things went really downhill from there. I liked the third dress I tried. When she told me the price of the dress, it was clearly above my budget. I told her the truth- "I do like this dress, but this is my budget". She was probably a bit flustered and laughed, mentioning that it was hard to find a dress in that budget, then went "You said you live in **insert city** right? It's pretty expensive to live there?" I kind of laughed it off, because again she was probably flustered. Then she started talking about how you should buy the dress you really want for your wedding, and that to do it, you could save some money by "skipping buying Starbucks everyday" and "eating out less". I want to put out there that my budget, while smaller than others, is not completely unreasonable. I know this to be the case, because after making these assumptions about my life, she then pulled out several other dresses that were within my budget. I also have seen dresses online within my budget. Maybe she was annoyed because she felt she had wasted her time pulling out the above-budget dresses earlier? She had told me to keep an open mind and that she could always adjust. Maybe because price is something that's not as easy to adapt to when selecting another dress to try on, she was just thrown off. Given how angry I was, I handled the situation pretty civilly. She even called me maybe a week later to let me know that one of the within-budget dresses I tried on would go on sale soon. But the experience of a complete stranger making assumptions about me and giving suggestions on how to "afford" the dresses in her shop made me decide immediately I would never shop at another bridal shop again. I ended up finding a dress I really liked online that was comfortably within my budget. This place has lots of great reviews, and the owner is very great at what she does. If you are someone who is passionate about finding the perfect dress for your perfect day, this place might be for you. If you are someone like me who wants to find a dress she likes, but wants a more reasonably priced dress given it will be a dress worn a few times at most, this might not be your place. read more

I scheduled a time slot on their website and Arnold was ready at the time of my schedule for my consultation. Arnold was friendly and asked me a few simple questions and easily provided me choices that he had in-stock. I was able to try several barongs and sizes. I found the one I wanted and was paying for the formal clothing within 10 minutes. Tip: They also custom order barongs straight from the Philippines and it takes about 6 months to arrive. The choices vary from design to material to the type of collar. Note: depending on the crop yield, the color does slightly change. The travel there was worth it.
