This has been our go to place for formal wear! Even last minute they come through. We were in Friday for very last minute shopping for my husband. Destination wedding less than a week away. The absolute worst experience I've have ever had in any store. Ian should be fired. We were ready to check out and he was inappropriate in his comments about the garments my son was going to purchase. We had already spent over an hour just finding exactly what my son wanted. It wasn't just one comment. He kept going after I basically told him that those were what my son wanted. He made us feel terrible so we left everything on the counter and walked away. You are in the business of customer service and Ian needs to learn what that means. We just got married on the Oregon Coast and everything with Men's Wearhouse was a breeze! My husband got fitted in The Woodlands, TX, my father in Reno, NV, my brother and my father in law called in. I won't rate this location on staffing and wait times, because I believe it's totally out of their control. The men's clothing sales process is somewhat of an enigma to me - the customers all want one-on-one support from an employee, so they sign in and wait for help. Very different than the self serve model I'm used to for myself. That said, the store isn't staffed to support customer expectations, but I'm absolutely certain that's the labor model and not the stores issue, so when my husband wants to go to the men's warehouse, I just know we are in for a long ride. That said, when you finally are next in line for help and get it this team is fantastic - they take incredible care in ensuring these guys get the best outfit for their occasion that makes them feel comfortable and confident. So much so, that my husband really doesn't care for my input in this store, he wants to talk to "the experts." I can appreciate that! Today's visit was no exception and the woman that ultimately helped my husband helped him find an outfit solution that he loved. Brisco and Samantha are amazing! They both need raises/promotions! These two are great assets to the company. I called after looking through Kohls selection and wasn't finding many options, Brisco answered and provided exceptional service and details. I came in shortly after the call and was greeted with a warm welcome. Met with another gentlemen which I can't recall his name who introduced me to Samantha and Brisco in Person. I felt comfortable immediately. Got my sizes and was shown a decent amount of items. I tried on items and was provided options I wouldn't have considered and was impressed with their knowledge and expertise. This experience turned me into a Loyal Customer for Years to come. The whole company can take feedback as to how this store operates and treats their patrons. Very friendly, courteous and humble. Yes I am a woman but I am a woman who has a masculine style. This is the 21st century and that is not uncommon but it seems that for some this is still an issue or at least that is how I felt from my experience here. I will add that I did leave with everything I needed but it was quite the journey to get there. I came in on 12/26 as I have an event on New Years eve and would like to dress up. I knew what I needed but sizing is different in mens formal shirts and I didn't know my neck size. I walked in and immediately saw a male employee. He was helping a customer match up some items. I was not greeted. I started looking around and for the next 20 minutes I watched as that employee greeted and helped every customer after me.. They happened all to be males. Never once did he ask me for help even though he crossed my path multiple times. There was a female employee who was busting her butt in the fitting rooms with multiple suit fittings. I was about to leave and go to Macy's after blatantly being ignored but I was finally greeted and promised they would be right there. Of course it was the female employee not the male one. She did help me size for a shirt and helped with the fitting process. I do feel like on more than one occasion though things were over explained. That because I am a women with a chest things would fit differently or because it's men shoe sizing it's different than women. I am very well aware. I didn't just wake up that day and decide to have a more masculine style. This has been something I developed for years. I have several pairs of cole hans and actually was going to go to the outlet this week for a new pair but thought that since they had them in store I would see about sizing. I don't believe she meant to be consdencing but it was off putting. Other than that the lady was very nice. She got me the shirt, cuff links and bow tie I needed. This all this said I don't know that I would come back. I wouldn't like exhaust other options first before coming back due to the overall experiences. read more

Wow, could not recommend this location more! My best friend was getting married, and we were in a bit of a time crunch to get my suit rented for the upcoming wedding. When I showed up, I didn't expect this location to be so busy, (Prom) but we were promptly greeted by Shoni. Shoni was amazing, and took her time with us to make sure everything was perfect. Fast forward a few weeks later, and I finally had some time to return my rental. Nick assisted me and I learned that I had a late fee, whoops! He left to speak with the manager in the back for a moment then returned to tell me not to worry about the late fee! When does that happen?!? I'm extremely impressed with both the professionalism, and excellent customer service! My 92 year old Dad recently bought 2 suits from this Men's Wearhouse for 2 family weddings this summer. Not only did they charge him a sizable fee for alterations but after picking them up found that they did not press or steam them. They were wrinkled & rumpled. Hems not even pressed. Disappointing! First time at a Men's Warehouse and it'll probably the last. I was pretty excited to rent a suit as a groomsman at my friend's wedding in California, but the little lady working the rental station quickly brought that excitement down. First question I asked her, she responded in a snarky, condescending tone that didn't answer my question at all. I kept asking where I should ship my suit, but all she responded with was "where are you going to be two days before the wedding?" I kept telling her I was going to be on a plane, but she wasn't taking that as answer. She rushed through the entire process, saying nothing but rude and condescending little quips. Even when she had me try on a jacket, she didn't say anything at all. I felt like I was being rushed through the entire process and looked down upon for some strange reason. If you're hoping to make your wedding day special, I highly suggest going somewhere else. read more

This location is the only location I will continue to shop at if needed but I will only be seeing select people. We first went to Clackamas Men's Wearhouse (you can read my review) and it was absolutely AWFUL. We decided the day couldn't get much worse and took the drive out to Tigard. When I tell you, it was night & day different. We were greeted the second we walked in the door, all our concerns were listened to and handled very gracefully. We did not feel less then important to anyone there. The main reason for my review is due to Brisco. That man needs a raise and honestly held the store together. As someone who has owned my own business, and has owned clothing stores in the past he is a true rockstar and someone you do not want to loose. He helped my fiancé, made him feel comfortable and confident (which he does struggle with since he's a bigger guy). Brisco not only interacted with my fiancé but also myself and my mother in law. Giving us ideas, suggestions, advice etc. We walked out with a suit and plans to come back in for our groomsman. We will only be seeing Brisco, if it's not him we won't go. I would highly suggest having your Clackamas location looked at & managed closer because the experience we received was unacceptable. Again, as someone who owns a business and has owned clothing stores in the past, completely unacceptable. Additionally, the owners response (you) needs to be handled appropriately. Your response to my previous review was a copy & paste corporate response. Take some accountability for your horrible employees, and praise your amazing employees. Or else your business isn't going to succeed much longer. Remember there is always another option, another store & ALWAYS a competitor. Walked into the Tigard Men's Wearhouse to get a very last minute suit for a funeral. Roberto kindly helped us out by quickly fitting my husband, finding the right size (off the rack) and then helped him pick out the perfect shirt and tie. Our focus was on the funeral, not the needed suit so Roberto definitely took a lot off of our shoulders by calmly helping us out. It could have been very easy for him to remind us of our late purchase and then not accommodate us but instead he just helped us with a beautiful suit that my husband will use for years. Mens Wearhouse is one of the last retail stores with specific associates to assist with fitting, sizes and questions, not just ringing up a purchase. Mens Wearhouse has awful service. We made a wedding consultation (Apt.) at 4pm on a Saturday. They saw other people before us who did not have an appointment at 4pm. Even tho we were meant to be seen first. So making an appointment is pointless. Awful customer service. No one greeted us or welcomed us. We also wanted to get fitted for a friends wedding. My fiancé tried on everything for his friends wedding that is 3 months away. We paid for the rental suit. Then the next day we found out they fitted my fiancé for the WRONG SUIT for his friends wedding and we paid for the WRONG RENTAL...so now my fiancé has to go back in and get refitted all over again and pay again. Mens Wearhouse is not organized and have horrible costumer service. You'd be better off to buy a suit then to rent one from here! My fiancé and I will never rent a suit here for our wedding. Even though I live in the Bay Area, I but all my suits and dress shirts at this Mens Wearhouse location. Service from the entire staff is amazing. Moreover they worked with me to completely refit a "custom suit" I had purchased at a Mens Wearhouse in San Jose, CA. The "custom" fit was worse than off the rack. Tigard team got me a completely new suit that fits like a custom suit should. It is this extra mile that keeps me coming back over and over again. Yep, they are busy and you do have to wait sometime. Don't tell my boss but I needed a new jacket for interviews. While some part of me wishes men still commonly wore suits the rest of me tells that other part to STFU and get back in a plaid shirt. Anyway. My good lady needed to go to Bridgeport Village so we decided to hit up this Men's Wearhouse instead of the theoretically more conveniently located downtown store (it's really not more convenient). And oh, hell, it's prom tux season. Damn. Well we're here, the school brats are pretty contained, let's stick it out. We get a sales rep and the process gets underway. A few examples are slipped over my shoulders in a skillful manner and after a few tries we find something salesdude and wife both like (I guess I was okay with it, too). Then we hear BOGO. Except it's not really buy one get one it's more like BTGSE (buy this get something else). I don't know how often they run this deal, but I got a SUIT for the tailoring by buying a jacket. That was pretty dope. It was on clearance but there wasn't anything wrong with it. I got all measured and stuff and came back a few weeks later to pick it up. It would have been a week and half but the tailoring was finished mid-week and I wasn't doing rush hour traffic to Tigard/Tualatin to get it. So, apart from the fact that I have to adapt myself to having two suits and STILL being nothing like Don Draper, a good experience. I hopefully won't be back but that's me, not Men's Wearhouse. read more

I rented a tux for a wedding I was a part of. I thought the fit would be excellent since the guy worked with me for about 20 min after an hour wait. The pants were tight around the butt, the jacket was tight in the arms and had sleeves that were far too long. The shirt also gave me a rash that lasted for over a week which spread from my chest to my ears and down to my waist. It seems to me that the products I rented gave me textile dermatitis. Best service I have ever had!!! We had an unbelievable excellent experience with the Man's Warehouse service at the Bridgeport store in Tigard, Oregon! I initially picked and rented a perfectly fit tuxedo with Donna's excellent help and advice for my daughter's weeding! But somehow the shipment did not arrive at the store on time as we expected. The store manager Nick and Donna were so professional and helpful. Not only they refunded my entire rental payment, but also immediately tried their best to get a similar set from their store m, fit me as quickly as possible, although it was a very busy day, including having to have a tailor working on my pans right away! I was able to wear the beautiful tuxedo they put together for me to attend the rehearsal on time, as well as walking my daughter down the aisle next day at her weeding! I am so grateful and thankful to Nick, Donna and the entire store staff for their very hard work and excellent professional customer service, which was absolutely beyond my expectation! My Fiancé and I have been in multiple weddings in our twenty year friendship and always went to Men's Wearhouse. Even I had to get a suit once for I was the Best Woman at my brother's wedding. We were always treated with respect and always felt special even without being the actual bride and groom. Absolutely not the case this time at the Bridgeport location for our wedding. I never write reviews but I'm hoping this will lead to a coaching opportunity so this does not happen to another couple. Every single person of our wedding party that went to that location had an issue and unfortunately this happened with multiple employees. We dismissed the fact that when we went for our initial consultation that our experience was awful for we know bad days happen. However we cannot look past the fact that three of our groomsmen had to walk out and come back multiple times due to information not being accurate in the system, items that were held for verification not able to be found three days later, our names did not come up for them to look up our order, they didn't have the right sizes even though we verified twice that the pants we choose would fit a wide range, etc. One of our groomsmen had us go there for his wedding and cannot believe the lack of organization and customer service we have experienced for our wedding. Please take this review as a chance to do better so that excited couples who finally get their chance, don't get this treatment. I will no longer be recommending Men's Wearhouse to my future brides in my life as of now and we will be going elsewhere for our groomsmen have wasted enough of their time. read more
