Wow glad we found this gem! From the second we walked in the service has been phenomenal, everyone is so friendly, upbeat and cheerful. Yanis was our waiter and he was awesome!!!!! Great suggestions and extremely friendly, the type of energy that will bring customers back. Inside it was decorated like you were in Greece and even the fun Greek music in the background. Food was fantastic, we got to try bunch of appetizers and gyros, everything was delicious. Will be back 100%

    Burnt old overcooked french fries

Absolutely worse experience I've had in this place and I will not be coming back served me burnt french fries that were clearly very old. The meat was dry and slightly overcooked as well and when I complained all they did was give me more old french fries that were also over.

I ordered delivery from Meraki a few weeks ago and it was pretty good! I've been meaning to try this spot as I've gone to the downtown Meraki a few times and I'm a big fan. Some of the items are the same and there are different ones as well. My partner loves the halloumi salad but unfortunately this Meraki doesn't carry it. Lucky for me - my favorite dish - the salmon is served here. I ordered the salmon and it came with rice pilaf, pita and a lemon aioli. I do miss the veggies that come with the downtown Salmon but I did see I could have chosen potatoes as a side instead of rice - so will do next time! Onto the salmon, unfortunately it was on top of the pita, so the pita was fully soggy and I couldn't enjoy it. The salmon was a good portion and cooked well. It was juicy and fresh. The rice was okay, it was quite bland and a little hard. The price was also very reasonable for $17.60 so that's good. I also ordered a tzatziki on the side and it was very heavy on a mayo taste for some reason. I wanted to try one of their pastries and went with the bougatsa ($6) and wow! That was so amazing. I even went back in person to buy another the following week. It is a deliciously flaky greek pastry. It a very good size with a yummy custard inside, served warm. It's so so good. I can't wait to go back and try it! The decor inside Meraki is cute! So definitely would come back and dine in. I've bought halloumi cheese here. They have a little market section with Greek goodies which is nice! There's free parking in the shopping center with is a rarity in Miami Beach so definitely a highlight!

Very cute and clean, small Greek place on Alton Road. I was relieved that they actually had parking. I came around 8:30 pm so it was pretty quiet. The staff were very friendly and greeted patrons, as soon as they came inside. The chicken Keftes and fries were good. The pork on the gyro tasted funny and was chewy. I asked the waiter, if I could try the lamb meat instead. He brought a lamb gyro. He did not take the pork gyro off of the bill. Other than that, it seemed like a good place. I noticed they have a coffee bar too. I was thinking it would be nice to try their iced chocolate mocha that was on the menu and their baked goods during the day.

Whats the first thing you crave when you land in Miami beach? Gyro, obviously. Was able to make it in time before closing on a Thursday night. Placed our order at the counter and decided to eat in. Pick any open table you want and they'll bring your food out for you. While you're waiting, they have a nice wine selection. The gyro sandwich had a healthy portion of protein, sliced just thick enough. Fries seemed to be fresh cut potatoes. They were tasty but not quite as crunchy as I'd prefer them.

I have heard of Meraki and passed by their locations in both Downtown & the Grove, but had never tried it. Once I saw this newish location in Miami Beach, I had to grab some takeout. I ordered through their site and the large order I placed was ready right when I set it for. The inside is beautiful and clean and the breeze coming in and out of the restaurant is so peaceful. The patio is just as tranquil. They even have a little marketplace full of Greek imported items. As for the food- better than any Greek restaurant I've ever tried in Miami. I had a classic Lamb Gyro that was HUGE and came with a large helping of Greek fries- all for $12. My friends had the chicken bacon gyro and said it was also very savory and fresh. The pita tasted like it was cooked ten minutes before I picked up my order. Will definitely be trying again.

The food here is amazing, easily one of top 5 restaurants in Miami. Giannis greeted us when we first walked in and immediately offered us some of the fresh food they rotate for us to try. He was so passionate about the food and the restaurant, it made our experience that much better. On top of already great food, the ambience is great, it is easily accessible if you are driving or walking around miami beach and if you are a fan of traditional, fresh greek food AND service you will not be disappointed.

chicken was on the dry side and why did they even bother with the 1 and a half slice of tomato? disappointed :(

We have always driven by this place and wanted to check it out. They have a $12 entree sign on the window and it peaked our curiosity. The $12 entree special includes one entree and one side which is from the food located at the counter and looks like a buffet. We opted to go for the gyro platter instead and were extremely satisfied with that. It was delicious and enough food for two people and we also had leftovers. We also got a small side Greek salad which we highly recommend because it goes well with the gyro platter. We will be back to try their baked goods on a later date.

I didn't know they are same owners for the downtown Meraki location. I love that place it's so beautiful and inviting and food great. Their new location here is very welcoming. I ordered chicken sandwich with tzizki because I don't like mayonnaise which is in their Meraki sauce used on it. I was blown away by the sandwich. So delicious! Wow! The chicken had such a nice flavor. Fresh ingredients. French fries had a nice herb seasoning and fried crispy just the way I love. They have a cute market that sells Greek jams, olive oil, candies, fresh pastries and honey. I plan on being a regular here! And the staff was very friendly! They have Greek mousakka, a Greek lasagna on the menu I want to try next time.

JK but our eyes really wanted to, especially when I laid eyes on the Nutella croissant section. From delicious paninozzo bello ripieno perfect to take to go and eat at the beach, to delicious pizzette e focaccia, Rosetta Bakery has everything you need for that sweet or savory tooth. We had the best breakfast, tipico Italiano, with nutella croissants, caffè macchiato e caffè, come in Italia. Everything is baked fresh, at the spot and you can see all the hard work through the little glass window. This place makes you feel good and it's food dopamine for your nose and eyes. I especially like all the freshly baked smells coming from the active bakery onsite. Chocolate Cake: What can make chocolate cake even better? A nutella-like frosting! It really took this to a whole new indulgent level. Apricot Croissant: Why spread jam on your croissant when it comes pre-jammed? A nice amount of tangy apricot jam inside the flaky pastry. A great way to start the day. Pistachio Eclair: Normally I'm a chocolate frosting and vanilla custard guy, but they didn't have that combination. Was pleasantly surprised by the sweet pistachio cream, made it feel very European. Cannoli: A tiny little indulgence of dense sweet cheese inside a not-that-crispy-anymore shell. Potentially made awhile ago; wonder if a fresher one would have had a better crunch. I did like the candied orange peel at one of the ends. Mortadella Sandwich: A simple way to live up the olive roll. A few slices of mortadella to make it meaty and feel kinda fancy European. Ham & Sweet Baguette: Simple and easily transportable to the beach. The baguette tastes fresh, likely made onsite not that long before. It had a good chew. The ham and cheese are just enough protein to make it into a meal. Might have been even better with a little mustard. Mortadella, Cheese, Sun Dried Tomato Sandwich: A nice soft roll with lots of mortadella, some fresh mozzarella and heavy umami sundried (or slow baked?) tomatoes. The addition of those tomatoes really ratcheted up the flavor of the bread, meat, cheese.

Decided to hit up True Loaf which was close by. True Loaf is located in Sunset Harbor next to Tequiztlan Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar. Also two spots down from Maman which is one of my fave bakeries. I stopped into True Loaf to scope out their selections. The young lady at the front was nice, I didn't get her name. This spot is more of a bakery with a huge kitchen area and limited space to order or sit. They had a few patio tables outside but no sitting area inside. Quick order and go kind of space. They had a display of food options in the front window and ordering area. I also didn't see a menu or labels for the pastries so it was hard to decide what I wanted. I was going by visuals of what they still had available. I ended up getting a canelé. And let me tell you, they made a quite perfect canelé with the crispy exterior and custardy interior. Each canelé costs $5. I knew a nice bakery like this would make a good canelé. You can just tell. I would come back to try some of the other items including the croissants, sandwiches, basque cheesecake and pastries! Cute spot. Happy I found this.

Located a couple of blocks off a major road (Washington Ave.), Las Olas Cafe felt like a hole-in-the wall neighborhood joint - a team of off-duty police officers were enjoying their dinner inside the restaurant, and families were eagerly lined up at the to-go window outside the restaurant. As I waited in line to order, I perused the menu, which included breakfast items, coffee, and a variety of sandwiches. Even though there were only a couple of customers ahead of me in line, each meal was made-to-order before the next order was taken. This meant that the staff prepared about half a dozen coffees, a couple of smoothies, and several meals before it was my turn to order. When I finally placed my order for a Cubano sandwich, I waited about 20 minutes for my food to be prepared. My sandwich was served piping hot, and I eagerly took my food to go so I could enjoy it at the beach nearby. Despite the wait (about an hour from the time I arrived at the cafe despite the short line), my food was delicious. The sandwich was stuffed with crispy shredded pork and ham, and a generous amount of mustard, melted cheese, and pickles pulled it all together.
