    Moroccan Fish

I was craving good middle eastern stew so went there for the Moroccan Fish. It didn't disappoint! The fish was flaky, the tomato sauce was spicy and the side green pepper was a perfect complement, The bread was so good I had to actively stop eating it and dipping it in the sauce. I'd totally get it again. Service was efficient. It's in the top floor of the mall so may patrons had shopping bags and had a casual feel.

Visited the brickell location and it did not disappoint!! We went for lunch and I got the chicken shawarma bowl, it was so good!! The chicken is so flavorful and I love the veggies that it comes with!!! Overall 10/10 food choice!! Our server was very nice and attentive and we had a good meal here!

Went here for their happy hours but missed it, they changed to new hours. Still got the hummus and falafel to share, and a beer. We sat at outdoor, it's mid March, it's pretty cool and not hot. Our Serbian server/ manager (didn't get his name), is very friendly and welcoming. Both hummus, the bread that comes with it and the falafel are all delicious. Solid 8/10. I feel like this is a great spot for vegetarians because their vegetarian dishes are so flavourful already. Looking forward to try their meat dishes next time, the bread is really good, love the texture and the right amount of burnt/ grill?

Food so good I forgot to take pictures. I will never say a bad thing about Motek - the vibe is so cute, the food is exceptional and I always have great service. My friend and I tried to grab a seat for happy hour but weren't able to (it's only star bar and high tops) but we opted to come back a few hours later for a full meal. I will never not order the traditional hummus and pita. This time, we also tried the Moroccan cigars and crispy pita. Previously, I also love the cabbage salad, any of their flatbreads and the the other dips/spreads they have. YUM. I will definitely be back!

Mediterranean@ Brickell City center, Miami The restaurant was very large with a nice vibe with indoor and outdoor seatings. We were able to get in without reservation for Thursday nite dinner. The hostess and our server were friendly. All the dishes we ordered tasted really delicious! The babaganoush tasted great with hot grilled pita bread. The fennel pomegranate salad was tasty with feta cheese. Enjoyed middle eastern dumplings with the white sauce and crispy cauliflower was sweet and savory. The Turkish lamb kebab was cooked just right with a grilled vegetables. The award winning arayes burger was very unique. We initially had to ask for the plates to be changed but after that they paid more attention to us. 20% service charge was automatically included. We enjoyed our dinner very much.

I came here today to quality control the menu for an upcoming high end dinner I am planning. I was very impressed with the amazing service and attention that my server Ilyan provided me with. I ordered the Za'atar Greek salad that was phenomenal. The vegetables were so fresh and the salad dressing was super tasty! The presentation was very appealing to the eye. Last but not least the ambiance was exceptionally beautiful! I will be back very soon to enjoy a nice dinner here!

I really like Motek, it's a beautiful restaurant but being in the city center creates a little bit of chaos. It's a lot going on around you but the actual restaurant is really nice. The Halloumi Dates and cheese really explored a different taste pallet giving an explosion of unique flavors in every bite. I had the lamb shawarma plate and it was great, I tried the Arayes burger which was really good and didn't disappoint. My co worker had the Waygu burger which he said was really good. All in all it's a great spot, I would rather the regular restaurants that aren't in the mall because it feels almost like a food court and I don't think Motek and food court go together. Highly recommend giving them a try....

We found this place by accident and it was a wonderful experience. The vibe is pretty and chill. The inside is amazing and very photo friendly, the service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend! We got the chicken Shawarma sandwich, and the chicken Shawarma plate with some fries and a fennel pomegranate salad. The Chicken Shawarma plate was really good and in my opinion, definitely worth it. The bite was rich, but not overly so the greens were deliciously salted/seasoned. It had some kind of sauce on them. The chicken had a little bit of heat and a hint of smoke. The Fennel pomegranate salad I wasn't a huge fan of. The orange pieces in the salad were good, had just a hint of spiciness of some kind and was not overly sweet but I think next time I would get a different salad instead. They have indoor and outdoor seating so if you want, you could sit outdoors and people watch. We chose to sit indoors and face out the windows because the sun was blasting us and we wanted the AC.

Such a cute location in brickell city center with indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. Happy hour only applies to the bar or high tops which we weren't aware but we still went for lunch and had a great meal. The service was fast and food came out fresh, hot, and hot. The hummus was creamy and delicious. The basket of lollipops were spicy yet tender. The crispy eggplant was a great addition. The spicy mescal margarita was refreshing. Overall, great choice for lunch.

The hostess at Motek was very friendly and took us to our table as soon as we checked in. Seconds after sitting down the waiter came with menus and filled up our glasses with water. I really loved the ambiance of Motek. My group was seated close to the kitchen window so it was fun to see the orders come out and watch the chefs prepare the food. There were a lot of food options and since I went with a big group we were able to try many options. The fried eggplant appetizer was definitely my favorite. It was super crispy on the outside and it came with really good tzatziki. The red bell pepper with feta dip was also very tasty and went well with the pita. The salmon skewers were also cooked perfectly. They were crispy on the outside but also melt in your mouth on the inside. I only tried the ribeye as my main and it was cooked perfectly. The salt on the side and the chimichurri were a nice addition to the dish.

After walking this massive mall, I was starving. Motek was on my radar, so we made our way to top floor for some much needed lunch. Upon our arrival, we saw that it was happy hour. They had a $5 dollar menu that was just right to try a few dishes. We ordered quite a bit. It came out pretty quickly and was just the amount of bites needed to get me going for the walk back to the hotel. The highlights for me were the pastrami flat bread and the chicken wrap. Both were very very good. I would definitely go again.

This place always does a fantastic job. The food is so incrediubly homemade and fresh. Paired with the decor of the restaurant, I truly feel like I'm out of the country on holiday visiting another country in the mediterranean. The bar is located in the Brickell City Centre and marvelously designed and decorated. The hanging plants and lights add a special touch to an already great restaurant that delivers when it comes to the foods and beverages. The bar is huge and widely available for many guests during the day and evening. The server staff and bussers also appear very knowledgeable about their food and culture as well. Management has been noticed stopping by tables and enduring guests' satisfaction which, as a former restaurant employee, I really appreciate. The best is the Lamb Shawarma hands down. It pairs with a delicious tahini sauce and huge green pepper you can bite for added spice. The portion is plentiful, and I highly recommend on your next visit.

    Artichoke pita

I used to really love motek but sadly I just didn't feel the quality and the price point aligned on my most recent visit. A pita and a shakshuka cost $65 (incl mandatory 20% service charge). At this price for what we ordered, I expect the quality to be outstanding but found it to be mixed. Motek always does shakshukas well and their hummus one was no exception. Quite tasty. The pita was pretty disappointing. Very little goat cheese and the artichokes had a weird taste to them. I did quite enjoy the bread itself though. Our server was good and the ambiance is nice. I will perhaps return for happy hour, but probably not for a proper meal.

The moment we walked in, we were transported right back to Greece. The décor is beautiful and authentic without feeling forced. Every detail adds to the charm of the space. We decided to keep things light and ordered the zucchini chips along with a special appetizer featuring whipped feta, roasted eggplant, arugula, and pistachios. Both dishes were excellent. The whipped feta dish was bright, fresh, and packed with flavor, while the zucchini chips were perfectly cooked they were light, crisp, and addictive. My daughter ordered the non-alcoholic dragon fruit "martini" and absolutely loved it. It was tropical, refreshing, and felt like a special treat. I went with the white sangria. It tasted a little more watered down than I expected, but it was still refreshing and enjoyable on a warm Miami afternoon. The service was excellent throughout our visit, and the atmosphere alone makes this place worth a stop. Between the beautiful setting, delicious food, and attentive staff, Mandolin is a place I'll happily return to the next time I'm in Miami.

Seating is mostly outdoors and beautifully decorated, definitely a nice selection for an intimate event. Service was wonderful! The spanakopita was nicely flaky, the spinach filling wasn't overly bitter or pungent (my boyfriend is not a fan of strong feta flavors and enjoyed this while I am a feta enthusiast, we felt that this was right in the middle of our demands which worked great). We both love moussaka which is what my boyfriend ended up getting, dare we say it was our favorite moussaka out of any Greek restaurant in America thus far (coming from New Yorkers frequently visiting Astoria). It was broiled to perfection to give the cheese/béchamel layer a light crunch at the top and maintaining that richness underneath. The eggplant and ground meat were well seasoned. I really enjoyed my stuffed peppers as well (rice pilaf, ground beef, and feta on top), the tomato broth/sauce gave a nice sweet and savory flavor with the meal. Finally, a superb pistachio baklava, 10/10. Super impressed with what Miami had to offer for Mediterranean.

I tried the Moroccan Mojito, which was so refreshing. To eat, we tried the Shawarma Sushi and $1 chicken wing. The Shawarma Sushi name can be a bit misleading. It a wrap that was cut in form of sushi. It was good. I was hesitant about ordering chicken wings but I'm so glad we did because they were so delicious and crispy. They may have been the best chicken wing I've had. The service was excellent. I accidentally dropped my cocktail and they immediately cleaned it up and moved us to another clean table. I apologized for dropping it but not once did they made me feel bad about it. Instead, one of the staff stated it was an indication of having a great time. Our server mistakenly brought me the wrong drink that I ordered, but I did not mind it because I actually loved the Moroccan Mojito and instead ordered another one. I also loved how they have copper cups because it makes water taste so much better. Their attention to small details like that makes the difference. For context, I worked in fine dining in New York and Miami for almost 20 years, so I notice the details immediately, hospitality, management presence, the energy of a room. You can usually tell pretty quickly what kind of operation you're dealing with. We were a party of five. I arrived with my four-year-old son and was greeted warmly by the hostess. That warmth ended instantly. Standing directly behind her were two managers in suits blocking the main entrance. Both looked straight at me and my child and said absolutely nothing. No hello, no smile, no acknowledgment. Anyone in hospitality knows that moment sets the tone. As an Arab woman who grew up around a culture where hospitality is everything, it was already a bad sign. We were seated outside and the vibe stayed cold. Unfortunately, the food matched it. We ordered a lot because I genuinely wanted to give the kitchen a fair shot. I grew up eating Lebanese food and what stood out most was the lack of soul. Everything felt flat, like it needed salt, lemon, brightness, that warm Mediterranean seasoning Lebanese food is known for. The tabouli was especially shocking. A $20+ tabouli with no bulgur that was so roughly chopped it was basically whole parsley leaves and slices of onion. Any Lebanese auntie would die at the sight of it. At one point I asked our server if they had harissa or any kind of spicy sauce. She said the only option was Sriracha. In a Lebanese restaurant that charges $18 for a tablespoon of hummus. An Asian chili sauce as the only option. What made it even stranger is that harissa is listed on multiple dishes on the menu, so it clearly exists somewhere in the building. I asked for the Sriracha anyway out of desperation for flavor. It never came. Same with ketchup for my toddler's fries, it took three requests. Throughout the meal I walked around the restaurant several times taking my son to the bathroom, looking around the space, even going upstairs to the lounge. Not a single person acknowledged us. Not a host, not a server, not a manager. The bar is right by the entrance and every time we looked over at the bartender and bar manager, just blank stares. At one point we were clearly standing there confused looking for the bathroom in an empty restaurant and still had to say "Excuse me, where is the bathroom?" Wild. Later I walked up to the bar myself to ask if they carried mezcal. After dinner I went back to order one. Same energy--zero warmth, zero engagement. And this is with an automatic 20% gratuity already on the bill. The mezcal was a $25 two-ounce pour and I still had to ask for an orange slice garnish because no one offered it. Empty bar, two people behind it, and I still had to request it. Also worth noting, our reservation was at 5:45pm and the restaurant was practically empty. Yet I didn't see a single manager walking the floor, greeting tables, or checking on guests. I had talked this place up to my party because I'd been so curious about it for years, and it was honestly a huge letdown. If you know Lebanese food and understand Middle Eastern warmth and hospitality, this probably isn't the place for you. Expect cold, almost nonexistent hospitality and food that feels stripped of the soul that makes Lebanese cuisine special. The space is beautiful. I'll give them that. Everything else felt like a very on-brand Miami disappointment, what happens when you give people a beautiful restaurant, expensive food, automatic gratuity, and no leadership. From the lack of authenticity and attention to detail, it's hard to believe anyone truly Lebanese is behind this operation. If anything, it feels more like a polished money grab. Honestly, it might have been less jarring if they just called themselves "Mediterranean" like so many other places in this city. But if you're going to call yourself a Lebanese restaurant, the culture and hospitality should actually be there.

The service was incredible and our server's recommendations were spot on as everything we ordered was fantastic. The branzino was easily my favorite dish of the night and one of the best I've had. We came as a group of six, and this spot is perfect for both small and larger groups. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and the party like atmosphere makes it a great place to enjoy drinks, good food and music. If you're visiting Miami, you won't regret coming here. Highly recommend Doya and would definitely come back!

During our last visit, an expensive black Prada bag disappeared inside the restaurant. At first, the General Manager, CECILIA , confirmed that we arrived with the bag and stated they were reviewing all camera footage. However, despite multiple requests, we were never shown the arrival footage or provided clear evidence proving what happened to the bag. The communication became increasingly contradictory, and instead of transparency and professional assistance, we were eventually accused of acting "fraudulently" and formally trespassed from the property. What shocked us most was not only the disappearance of a valuable personal item, but the way loyal customers were treated afterward: no transparency, no proper cooperation, no accountability, and accusations without clear proof. We remained respectful throughout the entire process and simply asked for clear confirmation regarding the footage. Instead, the situation escalated into accusations and threats of trespassing. If personal belongings can disappear inside a restaurant and management responds this way, guests should seriously think twice before leaving valuables there. At this point, we sincerely hope the restaurant owner or upper management reviews this situation carefully, conducts a proper internal investigation into how this matter was handled, and contacts us directly in hopes of reaching a fair resolution regarding both the significant financial loss and the emotional distress we experienced as a result of this situation and the unfounded accusations made against us. We are still open to direct communication with the restaurant owner or upper management in hopes of resolving this situation professionally and fairly.

Everything we ordered was packed with flavor and cooked so well, but the lamb was definitely the standout for me. It was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor, the kind of dish where every bite just melts. We also loved the other dishes we tried and the sides complemented everything perfectly. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for both the food and the overall experience!

We were whisked inside to the intimate, dimly lit interior with a DJ table tastefully tucked away in the back of the space. Service was welcoming but overall, not quite as warm and attentive as I've experienced at other places in town. We started off with the Turkish Manti Dumplings, which were the standout of the night. The complexity yet restraint of flavor, balancing indescribable buttery, roasted, earthy notes with a touch of umami and subtle tanginess from the yogurt. The Mezze Sampler was a nice option for trying three of the dips. All very tasty, but I've had slightly better elsewhere. The Sweet Jeweled rice was the other standout with flavor and textural variety that made each bite pop. I found the Roasted Brussels Sprouts undercooked and lacking the same level of flavor as the other plates. The weakest dish of the evening. The Grilled Whole Bronzino got top marks from the meat eaters at the table. Overall, 4/5 stars for a delicious meal but with tough competition around town limiting my ability to hit that 5.

And I'm Greek, so…read moreyou can take my word for it ;) While it may seem slightly off the beaten path right off Flagler, it's very conveniently located by the Knight Center metro stop and a very easy walk from the bridge. Also, the atmosphere they've created both indoors and outdoors really draws you in: beautiful foliage, gorgeous decor, and inviting decor. They play amazing Greek music to set the mood at a very reasonable volume so you can still hear your party. I've been for lunch during Miami spice and recently for dinner. Everything I've had was delicious with tons of flavor and huge portions. Both times I took enough leftovers for another meal! I especially love their zucchini fritters and their spread plate. All their spreads are so fresh and flavorful but their hummus especially was soo good. My husband and I shared the meat platter for two for dinner and enjoyed everything on it - the loukaniko was especially delicious! For dessert, you can't miss the galatoboureko, a sweet custard dessert with the flaky phyllo dough you know and love from baklava. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend for a lunch date or dinner date and it's super versatile: great for friends, families or romantic dates. Don't miss this beautiful restaurant in downtown!

The food is super tasty, super fresh, portions are adequate without paying a steep price. The salad: we got a greek salad, it was way bigger than what we expected, the tomatos and feta cheese were delicious and my fiance thought that this was the star dish. Its not your basic salad. The waitress prepared it right infront of us and cut fresh tomatos and veggies on a station. Saganaki: must order, this was my favorite dish. Even though its such a simple ingredient (cheese) the flavor is crazy, they torched it and heated it infront of us and we couldn't stop eating it Souvlaki: the chicken was delicious, we got two full skewers, they serve it with fries and their special sauce which is so delicious! Even the fries were delicious and well seasoned! Octopus: this was mind blowing, especially with the meraki sauce. This is technically an appetizer but feels like a whole dish!! And its only for $24 whereas other places tend to overcharge! We had planned to order more but by that time we were full. The menu is rich and there is still so much to try. We will be heading here more frequently and sharing with you our dishes!! 5 stars well deserved! Instagram: @ri_reviews961

The happy hour menu was fantastic with all $5 plates. We ordered drinks and a couple items. Then ordered more. Awesome tasting food as well as the service. During that time, we made the mistake of trying Mortex Mediterranean, and it was an absolute disaster from the moment we walked in. The server was rude, untrained, and clueless -- she couldn't answer basic questions about the food and came back five minutes after dropping off our plates asking if we needed a to‑go box. We hadn't even started eating. My wife's dish and mine were passable, but the $39 wagyu burger for my 10‑year‑old was so bad he couldn't eat it and ended up crying. The fries were beaten up, stale, and tasted like they'd been reheated three times. When I told the waitress, she brushed it off with a useless "okay" and walked away. No apology, no fix, no manager -- nothing. For a city like Coral Gables, this place is an embarrassment. Terrible service, cheap ingredients, premium prices, and zero accountability. Even my son said we should've gone to Shake Shack because at least they respect customers and serve edible food. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's garbage -- poorly trained staff and low‑quality ingredients pretending to be a real dining experience.
