    Beef carpaccio

The ambiance for this restaurant was beautiful! I loved the fairytale theme of the restaurant. From the uniform to the storybook formatted menu, they really stuck with the theme. The food was wonderful! Each dish has a unique taste of its own. The dips were fantastic, each with its own taste along with fresh breads. I also loved the beef carpaccio! It was my first time trying it and it was truly wonderful. The service was excellent. Our server was extremely friendly and also told us a wonderful story regarding the labneh, which is locally sourced by a woman owned business. If you're looking for fine dining, this place is definitely worth it!

Came here for a few drinks but stayed for the apps and atmosphere. This is a brand new rooftop next to wear No 3 social is. They call it "fabel" and go along with the story book theme. Their menu sections are even labeled as "chapters"... very cute. The rooftop is decorated beautifully with a lot of string lights. We already had dinner, so we just ordered an app. We tried the labneh, which reminded me of cream cheese consistency, with garlic and chili crisps. The bread assortment was warm, tasty, and different tecxtures and shapes. There was a twisted braid bread, a cracker bread, and a traditional soft bread. I ate the entire thing, but would try the hummus next instead because again it was basically cream cheese with spices. The reason for deducting the star was that their service was slow. We will give them grace because it was on a friday nght. I would return to try more food off the menu!

Went to Fabel on a Friday night and had a great time! Ambience is stunning and it really does feel like Tulum. I ubered so I didn't have to deal with parking, but it would be as annoying as parking in wynwood always is. let's get into the food! Drinks: 10/10 - the mojito was phenomenal! Breads and dips: 10/10 - so tasty, an amazing start Rosette of cobia crudo: 1000/10 - I'm a sucker for all crudo, and this one did not disappoint. Plus the presentation was beautiful. Lamb: 10/10 - cooked to perfection and more than enough for two people. Loved the addition of strawberries. Mushrooms: 8/10 - yummy, but nothing mind blowing. I would knock half a star because of how pricey it is. But overall the service, ambience and taste of the food was extremely solid and I would recommend it!

I was there for happy hour with a friend a couple of months ago, we wanted to try something new and were surprised by Fabel's happy hour time! From 6.30-8.30 pm. They have half-in cocktails and even include some appetizers. We decided to go for some wine, which you have glasses starting at $12 plus the half-off happy hour, which is $6 per glass! Amazing price! We had some Rosé and it was good! Now if you want cocktails, most of them are in the 20-something so even with the happy hour half off it's not like a wow happy hour We also ordered the breads to share, and were delicious! The place is beautiful! The bartender was nice but there was an event going on so it was a little hard for two bartenders to handle all that. I think the happy hour is good but not sure if I'll try dinner time since I do feel it's a little overpriced out of the happy hour.

We went here for a friends birthday and to experience their Miami spice menu. The food came out delicious! We got all the dips to try out and they were all good, definitely recommend getting it with the bread! We got the beet salad, short rib and sorbet and cookie for dessert. Everything was magical including the vibes!! We felt like we were in Morocco! The music was good and the energy from the staff was amazing! Shout out to our Papi Chulo, Christof!! He was amazing and brought the vibes! If you get the chance to come to Fabel, ask for him because he was the best!!! Definitely worth checking out! Still dreaming of that short rib, one of the best I ever had!

I stumbled upon this place and loved it! Even on a Tuesday night it was a lively and vibrant ambiance. We sat on the bean bag chairs to have a drink and it was a really cool spot -- the venue is so beautiful that it's fun to sit side-by-side with a date, overlooking the restaurant. It's so beautiful it would be a great venue to rent out for an event. The servers were great and wore beautiful long dresses to match the middle eastern vibe. The wine was tasty and the challah bread was delicious -- super warm fluffy on the inside with a toasted crunch on the outside. The muhammara was ok but not amazing. Really good portion size for the challah and dip.

So calming with good videos and great music. It was the meal I didn't know I wanted. Just give me hummus and drinks, we are good. Came for Miami Spice. Pleasantly surprised with the blend of flavors. I appreciated how the menu had suggested wine pairings. Our waiter Raul was great with suggestions if you are not sure what you want. Overall staff if really friendly and helpful. It is a rooftop, so if it rains they do try to accommodate everyone so they are covered. It happened to rain and the staff was doing their best to escort people to their tables with umbrellas and constantly removing excess water from the floor. There is elevator access for those who cannot take stairs and accessible parking if you go early.

Fable is of course a hot spot in Miami and not just in the hype sense but also literally. It's super hot there. The entire restaurant is outdoors. Something to keep in mind prior to reserving. Depending on where you sit you have a fan by your table which was really helpful. The service was lackluster. It took forever for us to order our meals. And although I looked at the menu prior to going I was a bit disappointed in the offerings. Iv had better hummus at a local cheap neighborhood eatery. It was ok. The dish I had was good but something I would not go back for. I find some of these restaurants really miss the mark and are drawing people in and misleading with sparkles and influencers to gain hype over their restaurant. I need these Miami restaurants to really value food, quality and provide a unique experience outside of what everyone is doing. I would only recommend this restaurant as a quick stop in for drinks at the bar.

This was an overall experience and vibe , the staff was just *Chefs Kiss* ! I've never had such a pleasurable experience like this before at a restaurant ! YALL GOTTA GOO NEEEOW!

The ambiance wasn't that great it was empty, but the bartenders were super friendly. The mezcal Negroni which is my go too was really good. Love the type of ice they use. Very beautiful place but they need more of a crowd so it can be a vibe...

    Tomohawk For Two
    Amya H.

For starters, the drinks, the ambiance and the food were absolutely breathtaking! I deduct two stars only due to their very questionable service, management and lack of respect for clientele as well as organization. Not sure if this is a new restaurant, but considering that it is designed to be a fine dining experience, they lose stars for not having fine dining service. On to the food! We ordered the Tomahawk for Two which came with its own wine, sides and dessert. (An absolute steal! We added the Fairy Tale cocktail along with Green Majesty which were both amazing! The Fairy Tale, is sweet, citrusy and floral, while the Green Majesty containing pistachio was sweet and nutty in flavor. We first received raw oysters, delicious and included in the tomahawk course, and sides of fresh black bean salad with feta, spiced roasted carrots, and grilled potatoes. Then the Tomahawk, truly majestic with the perfect char, a crust basted with a hint of coriander and grilled to perfection. (We ordered Medium temperature) Everything from this restaurant pays attention to detail, and that includes the flavors, presentation and theatrics included. The tomahawk is sliced and plated in front of you, then topped with a squeeze of roasted garlic to die for! Lastly we received a baked chocolate chip cookie skillet topped with ice cream which was pretty basic but tasted good. Due to the questionable service, I'm not sure if I will return, but if I could spend a day with the chef I certainly would take it! Enjoy at your own risk.

Amazing place in Wynwood, love the food, the Malbec was espectacular, music and server was fantastic. I'm sure I will be there again.

Beautiful rooftop in Wynwood! The space has great ambiance, its perfect to celebrate a special occasion while enjoying great weather. They have delicious cocktails & nice wine selection. I tried the Turmeric Mezcal cocktail and loved it.. refreshing & not too sweet. Staff made good recommendations, I look forward to visiting again for dinner!

How is it during this cold snap, since it's all outdoor seating? Is there a roof that covers the dining area when it's 55 degrees 5 days out of the year?

Not really sure. I went in a random day and it had started to pour. They may have heaters, not sure. Yes, there covered areas but still outdoors.

The drinks were really really good too. I got the Zhoug, which was nice and a little spicy, and my friends got the fig-stachio Manhattan (the presentation is really nice, and the drink is delicious), and the pastelito punch (tasty!). One thing that was weird is that one of my friends ordered a wine pairing. He got a glass of rose with the first course, and then we got the second course, and the meats, and we literally had to call the waiter over to ask if there were more wines coming. To which, he simply said yes there'd be 3 more. He didn't seem to get the hint that he had failed at parsing them out timely. It still took a while for the next glasses to come out, so that was weird. Also, the wines weren't great, so I would recommend sticking with the cocktails. All that said, the food was fantastic and the cocktails are great, so I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

We've been hitting up Mediterranean restaurants like nobody's business on this leg of our spring…read morebreak, in part because of our proximity to many, and in part because my progeny and I are currently obsessed with babaganoush in its many variations. For this particular dinner, we were also focused on finding a truly vegetarian friendly restaurant where we could take our dear friends. Kabobji was a wonderful choice for vegetarians, omnivores, and carnivores alike. It's a large restaurant with plenty of booths and large tables for gathering with friends and family. Someone I suspect to be an owner was working hard alongside his wait staff and displayed a sense of genuine hospitality. Above all, the restaurant has a rock solid kitchen. The falafel ($13.99 / 5 pieces) here were ****STELLAR****!!! They're shaped like Indian medu vada (fried with a hole in the middle), probably for the same reason: to allow as much of the surface to fry to that perfect golden crisp as possible. And Kabobji's falafel were, in fact, awesomely crisp and well textured, made from soaked chickpeas in the traditional style, perfectly sized, nuanced and subtle in flavor -- some of the best we can remember having. (For reference, we love Nish Nush and Tanoreen for falafel in NYC -- and I think our neighborhood must be one of the major international epicenters for falafel.) Also excellent: the baba ghannouj ($10.99 for the small size), just a bit chunky, enriched with a lot of tahini, a moderate amount of garlic, a touch of lemon. This is how we like to make it at home. The vegetable ghallaba platter ($20.99) was simply made with thinly sliced onions and bell peppers, a small amount of zucchini, I think, and a touch of tomato. I would've loved to have had a spritz of lemon or sprinkle of sumac for a more acidic component, perhaps a little less onion. Note that this dish works better as a main course when accompanied by something protein-y like hummus, but it was pleasant to eat alongside our other orders. A convive, who went with the mixed shawarma platter ($27.99), found it to be a generous portion size and enjoyed it, especially with a side of well composed fattoush salad (+$5.99 to upgrade). Beef shish kebab ($14.99) and lamb shawarma ($15.99) wraps were both excellent and moist, a good balance of protein and vegetable. I didn't try them, but the "cheese pies" ($12.99) turned out to be pitas covered with a large amount of melty white cheese that some young children might enjoy as pizza. (Mine probably would've found them to be "too cheesy," but they're mutants.) They came three to an order. When you dine in, they bring a big basket of warm pita / pida to the table -- quite a generous touch!! I think it's house made and of course went beautifully with our food. Bottom line: GREAT FALAFEL! Great, low-key, family-friendly vibe. Good for vegetarians and non-vegs. Go.

Some of us switched it up and tried the spicy fish, sautéed shrimp, and the mixed shawarma platter. No regrets. The fish was so flavorful and the perfect size. LollllpThe rest of us stuck to the kabobs and lamb, which are consistently a safe bet. The space is great too. The service was excellent throughout our visit, and the atmosphere alone makes this place worth a stop. Between the beautiful setting, delicious food, and attentive staff, Mandolin is a place I'll happily return to the next time I'm in Miami.

Absolutely delicious and wonderful experience. Definitely on the pricier side but found the…read moreportioning and flavors to be very fair with the pricing of the items. Seating is mostly outdoors and beautifully decorated, definitely a nice selection for an intimate event. Service was wonderful! The spanakopita was nicely flaky, the spinach filling wasn't overly bitter or pungent (my boyfriend is not a fan of strong feta flavors and enjoyed this while I am a feta enthusiast, we felt that this was right in the middle of our demands which worked great). We both love moussaka which is what my boyfriend ended up getting, dare we say it was our favorite moussaka out of any Greek restaurant in America thus far (coming from New Yorkers frequently visiting Astoria). It was broiled to perfection to give the cheese/béchamel layer a light crunch at the top and maintaining that richness underneath. The eggplant and ground meat were well seasoned. I really enjoyed my stuffed peppers as well (rice pilaf, ground beef, and feta on top), the tomato broth/sauce gave a nice sweet and savory flavor with the meal. Finally, a superb pistachio baklava, 10/10. Super impressed with what Miami had to offer for Mediterranean.
