Obed Dominguez and his crew were efficient, thorough, always ready to address any concerns, answer questions and were very neat, tidy and courteous. They corrected mistakes from previous installers and Obed helped navigating the bumpy road of bureaucracy to obtain our certifications and tax accreditation. We couldn't be happier!

Sunforce Solar & Carlos Hernandez - Review…read more I first met Carlos Hernandez in February 2024, about six months after moving into my home. He stopped by to share how I could benefit from having a solar system installed, and I decided to hear him out. At the time, my family's attention and resources were focused entirely on helping my 16-year-old cousin fight cancer, so committing to a project like solar just wasn't possible. When Carlos learned about our situation--and that my cousin shared the same name as his son--he immediately showed that this was about more than a sale. He told me to take my time, focus on my family, and not worry about solar until the timing was right. Over the next 16 months, Carlos proved his sincerity. He regularly checked in on my cousin, my family, and me--not to push a contract, but simply to see how we were doing. When my cousin passed away in December 2024, Carlos sent heartfelt condolences and gave us the time and space we needed to grieve. In late June 2025, when I was finally ready to revisit the idea of solar, Carlos and Sunforce Solar provided me an updated proposal. I had plenty of concerns about solar companies in general, but Carlos patiently walked me through Sunforce Solar's process, addressed each concern with clear, viable solutions, and reassured me that he would personally be my point of contact throughout the entire process and beyond. The company promised my system would be installed, inspected, and activated within three months. I signed the contract on June 24, 2025--and to my surprise, Sunforce Solar delivered everything within 5 weeks. By the end of July, my system was fully operational. Sunforce Solar not only met every commitment, they exceeded expectations. Carlos Hernandez stands out as a genuine, caring professional whose integrity and compassion have been consistent since the day we met. My family and I are deeply grateful for his support, kindness, and prayers since February 2024. If you're looking for a solar company that delivers on its promises and a representative who truly puts people before profit, I wholeheartedly recommend Sunforce Solar and Carlos Hernandez. They've earned both my trust and my highest praise.

They came to our house and went thru the entire process. We told them other things we were wanting…read moreto accomplish and they were able to do it all. From the solar panels to a new dual unit to a new mini split. They went above and beyond what I thought they would do. We have a room that used to be an outdoor patio and converted to a sunroom. Sunfire did all the work to install the mini split so that room is now heated and cooled. Very professional from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Sunfire Solar. Thank you Thomas and your staff. Shane and Donna Feb. 7, 2024

I found Sunfire Solar through Energy Sage, along with several other solar contractors that I…read morereceived quotes from. After "interviewing" Sunfire, and other contractors, I selected Sunfire for my project based in part on their positive customer reviews and pricing. Another important factor in my decision was the knowledge, hands on experience, and professionalism of Thomas Kemp. Thomas worked with me to develop a projection of monthly and annual electric use with the recent addition of two plug-in hybrid electric vehicles and a hot tub; demands not reflected in historical use data. And then Thomas worked with me on a "bundle" of home energy improvements that included replacement of the electrical service panel, purchase and installation of two high-efficiency mini-split heat pumps, and a 6.4 kw solar PV array. The bundled price was very competitive relative to quotes from other contractors. Soon after an agreement was signed Sunfire went to work on the service panel replacement and then the mini-split heat pump installation. Of note is that I was allowed to specify the brand and models of the heat pumps. Installation of the PV array was the final step and was delayed approximately two months while approval processes and permitting were completed by the electric utility and the City of Albuquerque. The array was energized two weeks ago and to date it has performed exactly as projected in terms of peak output and daily yield. Based on what I see so far I'm confident the annual projected yield will be realized and will meet 95-100% of our household electrical use, including that of the two PHEVs. And finally, all of the individuals I interacted with through the duration of the project were responsive, easy-going, and professional. This included the assigned project manager, other office personnel, the electrician, HVAC guy, and others involved in the installation of the PV array. Overall I had a great experience with Sunfire Solar and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

I used NM Solar Group on the recommendation of a family member, however based on my personal…read moreexperience, I would not recommend them to anyone. They have horrible customer service and my experience has been many of the people have no idea what they are doing. We ordered our solar panels in November of 2021. They informed us that they have all of the solar panels here locally and they were not going to be supply chain issues. Explained the process, but were horrible with communication. They explained on thing that was going to happen on an appointment and something completely different happened. Once they came out they told us that they were going to have to do roof repairs before they could move forward. They showed up one Saturday morning without letting us know they were coming and climbed on our roof at 8 am and started hammering with no notice. Once complete going up to inspect the roof, it was in no better shape than it was originally, and the invoice refused to show what they did or a break down of cost, just "roof repair" and $2k for the bill. Next the communication for rest of the installation, they informed us several times that "This next appointment is when you will be hooked up" This happened several times until eventually getting "hooked up" in March. I was informed that the system was on and working and producing power, we just need to get you connected to the app, but I had to explain to them they we were not getting any power from the panels. Again I was informed it's working. It wasn't until I CC'd the CEO, that they got someone out that same morning and it was actually hooked up at that point, spending a week of losing potential power. The paperwork they provided in the estimate that I signed, told me I would have power in January, and have 2 to 3 months of no loan payment and free energy. That didn't happen. Once the system finally did get installed and working, it was losing over 35% of the power and not getting that power registered with El Paso Electric, so we were basically losing money for a system that was supposed to be large enough to support our large family in the summer months. I attempted numerous times to reach everyone from my salesman, to our project manager, to the project manager's lead, to the district manager, and even the CEO, with little responses back to address the issue. I eventually had to file a complaint with the better business bureau since they didn't want to attempt to address the issues themselves and get my system working. The little correspondence that I did get back, stated they sent the information to their customer service manager, and it was working within the specifications of the contract that you signed. WOW! That's an interesting response. Beware of this predatory company. They want you to sign the contract and get their solar panels installed, but after that, you are on your own. They said they provide a 1 year guarantee that it will produce the power they tell you it will in the first year, or they will upgrade the system until it does. I'm not holding my breath after how unresponsive they have been to this point. I do not recommend using this company as the equipment they are installing does not perform at the specifications that the manufacturer is stating (8% power loss in conversion from DC to AC, but is actually losing over 35% to the grid).
