We especially love Lance, who comes out every week. Our pool is never cloudy or green and he never leaves even one leaf behind! They are all super friendly, even my 3 year old gets excited to go say hi to Lance when he is here. They go the extra mile. They sent out step by step instructions on what to do in case we lose power during the freeze. Lance took that step even further by sending out pictures for those of us who are more visual. It seems like most energy is devoted to gathering and bundling clients in batches of 40 to a future franchise owner in exchange for 1000 a month. I reached out numerous times but eventually gave up and changed services. It is a shame because David was quite good at what he did but the company overall was lacking in customer service.

We were babysitting our 3 grandchildren for the weekend so they had a blast checking out the pond display and yard decor inside. The pond display has a few fish but the highlight was watching the turtle! We went outside and saw all the baby fish in the tanks and lots of pond and bog plants to choose from. We saw Sid who was working outside and we had a few questions for him. Sid was great! He was very helpful and kind, answered all of our questions and even offered up some suggestions! After we chose the plant we wanted, he carefully wrapped it up for the trip home. He made sure to tell us how to fertilize the plant and we bought some tablets to use in the future. When I asked them about getting a heat pump installed, they said they don't do that, gas heaters only. After calling around a bunch of companies, I finally found Superior who was willing to do the heat pump installation. They did a great job, as well as upgrading my lights to color LED, and installing a new variable speed pump, and a new control unit which connects to my wifi so I can manage everything from my phone. It all works great! All the other companies tried to talk me out of getting a heat pump and gave me all kinds of false info about why I shouldn't get one. But it works great and it can heat or cool my pool depending on the outside temperature, which a gas heater cannot do! I also signed up for their regular weekly cleaning and service, which ended up being slightly less expensive than the other company anyway.

The ScreenLogic app would not connect to outside. He checked everything on the motherboard and it was just fine. It was the inside adapter that was not functioning properly. He recommended we call Pentair for assistance. The company does not provide a human to speak but it did have some ai generated steps to follow, none of those helped. My husband called the company that was on our pool sticker, quite possibly the original company that installed this. We had never used Superior Pools since we've lived here over 10 years. Worst mistake ever!! Tech came out, spent about 30 minutes looking at equipment and said it seems to be just fine, must be the adapter inside. Again, same result as the prior company. Equipment outside is good, must be the inside adapter. Well, after the Superior tech spent trying to fix the inside connections using Google, he determined it was bad. Then he returned to pool equipment and now the mother board was not functioning. Kept shutting off after 2-3 seconds. Tech left and the pool didn't work!! Highly questionable that two people both say the motherboard was fine, only to then have same tech say an hour later oh no, motherboard IS bad. Very questionable! Would not recommend this company just based on this one visit. Always best to read reviews, ask around for recommendations as this day and age anyone can but in business and not be reputable!!

It's rare these days to find someone who is not only so thorough, but who genuinely wants you to feel informed and confident about the care your pool is receiving. We hired GP&A after speaking with several pool companies and chose them specifically based on their…read morereviews praising quick response times and communication. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We did the "Green-to-Clean ($800)". It took SIX weeks. We had to repeatedly follow up because they would go ~2 weeks without showing up or communicating. When we asked, we were told there was an emergency situation, we tried to be understanding, but there was no proactive communication on their end. We decided weekly service ($250/month). After the initial clean, we signed up for weekly maintenance. Within 24-48 hours of each visit, chlorine levels would drop back to 0 ppm. GP&A's explanation was that our pool system was outdated and needed to be replaced. However, we had two separate pool inspections done when we purchased the home, plus 3-4 other pool companies assess the equipment, none of them flagged the system (installed in 2017) as a problem requiring replacement. Upsell attempts: GP&A quoted us a full system replacement (under $6,000) and then a filter replacement (~$2,200) before they said they could continue service. We decided to move on to another provider. End of service: We asked if they could continue maintaining the pool through the end of the month. Their last visit was six days before the final day of the month (image attached). The pool was visibly green and in poor condition by end of month (again they serviced it 6 days ago and it is this green; not adding enough chlorine). When we brought this up, they responded that the condition was "consistent with the unresolved filtration issue for which repairs were recommended", essentially placing responsibility on us for not purchasing their repair package. We were looking for a long-term, trustworthy pool service company. What we experienced was poor communication, inconsistent results, and recommendations that no other company has supported. I cannot recommend GP&A based on our experience.
