The food and drinks were delicious, the service was great, the place is clean! I wish they have more tables, but it's a food truck, so it's given. The address that shows up on the map is the general area of pearlridge, but it's closer to wear Sears was before. I would definitely come back and eat here again.

I had the ribs it was nice and tender but a little too sweet for me. If you like sweet than it's right up you ally. Next time I'd like to try other items in their menu. I enjoyed the Ube-Chata drink. Very delicious!!

Yay to more Filipino eateries opening up! Checked out their food truck at Pearlridge twice and ordered their sisig nachos, Bisteak and eggs, Taiwanese fried chicken, and lumpia to go. Everything super tasty. Owners super friendly too. Go early to avoid the lines.

Finally got to try this spot. I work close by so it was super convenient and I always grab lunch for my coworkers as well. So I told them about this spot and they were excited to try it too. So we ordered the chicken inasal, bbq ribs, Sisig and Ube horchata. Also pancit and lumpia as well Presentation was really nice and the food was pretty good. The horchata was super good and I wish it came in a bigger cup lol I definitely will be back to try the other dishes. The couple was nice and very attentive.

Beef Bistek with egg, I ask for mine over well.

Beef Bistek with egg was good. Made to order dish, it appeared freshly made. Located at Pearl Ridge Center parking lot, easy to find. Portion size was sufficient.

So good! Highly recommend! I've been wanting to try for awhile and finally got to. Everything was delicious! I loved the nachos and my husband loved the sisig on rice. Coming back soon

I was really excited to try this Filipino fusion spot in the Pearlridge parking lot and was not disappointed. The mango sago hit the spot with the heat today and I think I downed it in 5 min of getting to my car. Some reviews said you have to wait awhile for your food, but honestly I got mine within 15 minutes of ordering and it was FRESH. All of the rice dishes come highly recommended, but as I came later in the day they were sold out, but I'm not complaining because the pancit was fire! The prawns were so fresh and well seasoned despite being shell on and the pancit had canton style noodles that were tasty with lots of crunchy veg and balanced flavor , even the yolk of the egg was still slightly jammy. It's the attention to detail that show how much care and intention goes into their menu. As for the lumpia, it's probably best it comes in a snack size because I could put away a bucket of them otherwise. This spot is going on my neighborhood top spots list. Thank you again for a wonderful meal!!

We got pork adobo (tender & flavorful), pancit mix (too lemony & lil mushy that day), Thelma's special (too salty, they wished I got regular lechon), Shanghai lumpia (ok) & adobo fried rice (good but small portion). The prices are reasonable but not as big portions as I thought would be.

The pancit was a standout: bihon noodles perfectly stir-fried with green onions and subtle seasoning, light yet satisfying as a side that balanced the richer dishes without overwhelming. Dinuguan brought that deep, savory pork blood stew richness - tender meat in a chocolatey gravy with a vinegar kick, way better than average and not overly gamey Monggo (mung beans) was hearty and comforting, simmered smooth with malunggay or bittermelon options for that homey veggie depth - grows on you with each bite. Veggie lumpia delivered crispy perfection: fresh fillings, not greasy, and a great crunchy contrast to the stews. Generous portions at fair prices, quick service, and that lechon nearby if you want to level up next time. Solid Waipahu/Honolulu Filipino spot - will return!

My family and I were craving Filipino food and walked in hoping to get our fix. The restaurant was empty with 2 people dining in so we thought we avoided the dinner rush. Upon entering we were approached by a middle aged woman who points us to a chair and tells us "over here is fine". No greeting or acknowledgement. Even before we could get to our chair, she shouts out about 5 dishes they were out of with her back turned to us. This lady was cold and absurdly rude. We left and ended up just getting dinner from Foodland. I would've loved to have spent my money on a Filipino owned restaurant but it seemed that lady didn't want the business and never cared to help anyone that came through her restaurant. Such a very disappointing experience. I rarely drop 1 star reviews but I walked away stunned at the lack of customer service this lady displayed. Do yourself a favor and go to Elena's. They actually care about their restaurant and the people who spend their hard earned money there. I'll never be coming back. I'll also be sharing my experience so others are spared their time and money.

When the food is ready, you get a text, pick-up is on the kitchen-side, backdoor. We'd heard good things about their steak, dynamite chicken, and ahi katsu so we wanted to try all three. There is a chicken + meat combo that allows you to upgrade the meat to ribeye; we ordered this plate with all green salad. Then we ordered the King Kam ahi katsu with rice and upgraded the side to imitation crab salad. If you love sauce, this is for you. Their fried items are nicely cooked, the ahi katsu had a nice rare center and the boneless chicken was still juicy, but both lost their crispness under a mountain of seasoned soy sauce, Kewpie mayo, sriracha aioli, and sweet chili sauce. With the additional garlic, katsuobushi, furikake, and green onion, these are flavor bombs. The ribeye had a nice char from the grill. It's served with a side of crack sauce which has a vinegar, fish sauce base, plus chili, garlic and cilantro. The heat from the steak and chicken withered the bed of green salad underneath, so we didn't eat it; serves us right for not getting rice and mac salad with a plate lunch. At Kingz, more is more. If you are looking for a new plate lunch spot, check them out.

It might've been the search for fried chicken to which Minasa didn't disappoint. We arrived just after opening and happened to get the last open table - after ordering, of course. The restaurant is clean and well put together with darker accents. Our food came out relatively quick - having the chef's special and ube churros. The kalbi sauce soaking into the rice was the perfect balance of flavors. Same for the calamansi fried chicken. Lechon, I must say was also a fine example of how seriously the chefs take their selection of ingredients - as I looked closer, it had the classic 5 layers (shown in my photo). Usually, this is the prime factor in the perfect roast pork - providing juicy layers of pork meat. Overall, this has been the best (new) meal we've had in a LONG time. It was so delicious, I could only wish there was a way to share this place with a larger collection of diners because frankly, if you haven't tried this place, I honestly think you're missing out on the definition of culinary art. Each dish carefully crafted with the goal of providing the best experience to all the patrons. I seriously seriously hope you all have a chance to visit. If we're ever back on this side of the island, we won't hesitate to stop by.

They talked it up and hyped it up so my wife and I decided to try it out last October for our anniversary. We showed up and they were closed for an event. Since then we've tried to eat here multiple times with it being booked or not open. It's been elusive. Last weekend was the weekend we finally were able to eat here being in Waipahu and the wait finally ended! We ordered the chef's special, salted egg fried rice, ube churros, and banana lumpia sundae. The dishes were colorful and vibrant. Everything tasted good but we were looking for that twist that was hyped up to us and there was nothing unfamiliar to our taste buds. Though we left full and enjoyed our meal, the "new" flavors didn't stand out. Overall we were quite underwhelmed especially with all the hype that was given to us over their food. Maybe I ordered the wrong things? Not sure but we'll likely give this a second shot when we're in Waipahu again at the right time.
