Bugolgi plate with delicious fruit & mac salad
    Li Y.

Having a craving for good Korean food and heading back to Honolulu from Kapolei, Moojigae comes to mind. Have had this place bookmarked ever since my yelp bud Rod U said it was a-ok! Staff super friendly. Truck is easy to find in the Waikele Outlet Mall just behind the Coach Outlet. Lots of outdoor tented seating. Food is definitely flavorful. For me the bugolgi bordered on just a tad too salty HOWEVER it paired well with the delicious rice, fruit mac salad, and mild cabbage kimchee. Just had me eating more carbs than I usually do. That's a delicious problem! The seafood pancake nicely crisped. Flavor bursting, almost a cross between Korean pancake and Japanese vegetable tempura with a delicate sweetness to the batter. Wanted to try the original before hitting up the newly opened Moojigae in Kapahulu. Would I come back. Absolutely!

The staff is always so nice and pleasant. We love their kimchi pancake! Sorry, it is so good I just dug right in and forgot to take a picture. Sadly, prices have gone up again.

Takeout lunch from Waipahu, O'ahu, Hawaii... I saw Deborah and Gabriel check in at this food truck - which reminded me to try 'em... Rainbow Stream has been around a while at the Waikele Premium Outlet. Go to the corner where COACH is... there's a bunch of food trucks in that back parking lot. Rainbow Stream is the first one... silver (metal) in color. I ordered the kalbi plate and opened the container at home. The fragrance was wonderful! It looked very professional! The taste was good - especially the fermented, authentic kimchi! The kalbi didn't have a smokey flavor nor any charred crunch. It was soft and tasty, but not the highest quality of beef. It was an alright meal. The green salad was okay. I'm glad that I finally tried it!

Possibly the BEST Korean food truck with food so good it rivals the best brick and mortar spots. Fiery spicy pork with onions and rice cakes mixed in for good measure. Lots of pleasing spice heat from a mix of sources including a very flavorful chili oil and balanced sweetness coming through from the marinade that taste of Korean pears. Tender, juicy, just the right amount of fat. One of the top two spicy pork I've had in Hawaii. The bulgogi, outstanding. Again, beautifully marinated with sweetness coming from Korean pears, this time stir fried with sweet potato noodles, and sweet onions. Very well made, perfectly cooked. Uber tender and packing flavor. Do yourself a favor and get a seafood or kim chee pancake and try them as soon as you get them. Crisp on the outside, moist goodness on the inside. Solid, fermented kim chee. Very friendly service. Quick turn around time. Located in the upper lot at the Waikele Premium Outlets. Tip: Check IG for changes to their open hours before heading down.

Fresh, Fast, and Friendly (but I'll Skip the Seating) Moojigae Korean Food Truck serves up fresh, made-to-order plates that hit the spot when you're craving something hot and quick. I had the kimchi fried rice (no egg) and my husband went with the bibimbap. Both were tasty--the kimchi had good flavor, though I wish the fried rice had a bit more spice. The salad on the side was fresh, though it came with ranch dressing, which I personally don't love. I'm not sure if other dressings are available since I wasn't offered a choice. The staff was super friendly and kind, and the food didn't take too long to cook maybe 15 minutes. The portions were large, and while I skipped the egg, it would have been nice to get a little extra salad or even a small discount in its place. There's a seating area, but it's bench-style on a dirt surface, and while eating we saw a lot of bugs--some that even bite--so next time I'll probably just eat in the car. Parking is plentiful, so grabbing food to-go is easy. If you're in the area and want a friendly, fast Korean meal this is a solid choice--just maybe plan to enjoy it somewhere bug free

After my eye doctors appointment yesterday 1-16-25, my husband said go across the street in the back coach outlet there's some food trucks. Yelpers yelp about this food truck. So we did try um. My husband ordered spicy pork plate and I ordered Kim chee stew. Brought it home even though they are outside seating under the umbrellas. Opened up the plastic bag I was wondering why were there's 2 plate lunches and the Kim chee stew. Well 1 was the spicy pork and the other was for the Kim chee stew. Rice, toss greens, Kim chee, and also sunny side up egg on the top of the rice.the spicy pork was spicy and even had tekiboki mochi stir fried in it. My Kim chee soup was very good but very very spicy wow. Mixing with the rice it was tolerable. Maybe the next time we'll ask for mild. Visit them at the back parking lot behind coach outlet

In the area, so we decided to try Rainbow Stream. My brother-in-law Craig T had mentioned this venue to my wife. I ordered the spicy pork plate and my wife ordered the tofu stew. My wife said that it was good, but the spice level was on the higher side. My spicy pork was spicy. hey that's what I ordered. Actually the spice level was hot but I could handle it. I was surprised by finding small pieces of Tteokbokki mixed in with the pork. They have an extensive menu for a for truck. The service was friendly and the food came out in a timely manner. Enjoy

Moojigae Korean Grill is the first silver food truck in the parking lot, closest to the Perfumania store. This is my favorite truck to go to for my usual order, Pineapple Pork Belly!!! (I highly recommend getting this order, it's SO DELICIOUS) The workers are always very polite and the food comes out quick. There are umbrella covered benches next to the truck where you can sit down after receiving your food!

This little food truck behind Waikele Center is on the top of my list of favorite places to eat on Oahu. If you want a relaxing, chill spot for lunch or early dinner, come to Rainbow Stream! They have plenty of seating right next to the food truck. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. I probably order from Rainbow Stream a little too often! I can't get enough of their kimchi jeggae and spicy pork belly. I've also tried the kalbi and bibimbap. They're also super tasty. Honestly, I don't think you could go wrong with ordering anything from there. Each entree I've tried definitely feels like a home cooked meal!

Highly recommend. Food is always delicious and service is good. Outdoor eating. The staff is always friendly. I wanted a side order of pineapple pork belly but a bit extra and the chef said no problem. I didn't mind paying the little bit of extra money. Delicious.

I was disappointed we paid $17 for the shrimp with pineapple and a salad as u can see in their menu and that's not what we got (our side was a weird Mac salad and kimchi). False advertisement

This food truck is located in Waikele. The name on Yelp name is not the same on the food truck itself. The food truck is called Korean BBQ Kitchen. The food is good if you want a Korean Food fix on the West Side. It is more authentic than other Korean Food places in the west side. The food servings are on the larger side but it makes sense considering the prices. Prices definitely are made for the tourist customers since Waikele is more of a tourist spot. It's a little pricey for local customers. Service is speedy and efficient. On slower days, there are two people working, on busier days they have 4 people working. One takes orders, another does the pick up order area and two prepare the food. The food comes out in about 10 minutes. Lunch time is generally, their busiest time and around 3 pm they are not busy. They have a digital announcer to tell you when your food is ready so you don't have to wait in the sun. Food is delicious and it comes with rice and sides. They have pescatarian and vegetarian options. The meat options look very delicious as well. The food plating is beautiful. A plate can feed two people depending on one's appetite. There is a seating area and benches near by. It is dusty in this area and there is no grass but it serves its purpose for seating.

    Pineapple shrimp

This food truck is a place to go for great Korean food. Awesome pineapple shrimp plate. The shrimp was cooked to perfection with pineapple for some tangy flavor and slightly spicy. Absolute recommendation.

Rainbow stream omelette, pineapple pork, bulgogi, spicy pork, pad thai for next door.

Takeout lunch from Waipahu, O'ahu, Hawaii…read more.. I was shopping at Waikele Premium Outlets when I realized that I hadn't had lunch yet. I had driven past Y'kele Korean BBQ and thought that I should give them a try... Located across the street from the outlets, the Waikele Center has many restaurants such as Restaurant Kunio, Panda Express, Subway, Chili's, and McDonald's. There's a lot of free shared parking, but it can get crowded at times. The interior is clean, bright, and air-conditioned. There are many tables and chairs for dining in. Service was pleasant and efficient. I ordered and paid at the counter, then took a seat. In no time my meal was ready. I was so hungry that I took a picture quickly and then started eating. There was so much food that I took the rest home. I got the Y'kele special: BBQ chicken, kalbi, and BBQ beef. It came with four sides. I chose tofu, corn, choi sum and seaweed. Everything was delicious! I'd return because it's convenient, tasty, and satisfying!

After picking his sides, my husband went to sit down at a table while I took care of the payment. Unfortunately, they swiped my bank card multiple times saying it's reading error. They asked if I had cash, which I did, and I was able to pay for our food. Something didn't right with me after I paid so I told my husband to check our bank account and make sure multiple payments wasn't withdrawn from our account. Just as I thought, the payments went through and was deducted from my account. I immediately took my husband's phone up to the counter and showed them my account, verifying that the payments were withdrawn. There was also another customer standing at the counter with the same issue. The cashier was really nice about the whole situation and immediate issued a refund to both myself and the other customer. I ordered the Bi Bim Kook Soo and my husband ordered the Kalbi and BBQ chicken combo plate. The Bi Bim Kook Soo was huge and I couldn't even eat half of it. The BBQ beef was a little tough and not as flavorful as the vegetables. The noodles, sauce and vegetables mixed together were really delicious though. It had a nice sesame flavor to it. My husband had the BBQ chicken and Kalbi mixed plate, and thought it was okay. He said it wasn't as flavorful as it was before. If you eat at this restaurant, please make sure you check your credit card or bank card if you're told there was an error with your payment method.

We got the family mini pack - it's great for 2-3 people who have a large appetite- 3 large pieces of Kalbi - bulgofi - man du - BBQ chicken- meat Jun - rice and choice of 4 veggies. It's a generous portion of meat more than enough for 3 people and we had leftovers too. The food is very good the Kalbi is a standout and the fried Man Du and meat Jun was excellent. So you can imagine the pure joy I experienced when I walked into Gina's and recognized the banchan, size and char on meats, the smell, being surrounded by local families and friendly faces behind the counter. My heart leapt for joy seeing that I could have both fish jun AND kalbi and if I wanted I could've gotten a third choice. My eyes spotted a familiar side dish of seasoned potatoes, which I left it for the next person and got the daikon, perfectly seasoned not dry at all jap chae, and kim chi cucumbers. When I took my first bit into the kalbi, life was made good again. It was reset and welcome home I needed. It was a perfectly cut and marinated kalbi. The fish Jin was seasoned so well I barely needed to dip it into a sauce. The portions could have fed 2. I asked if they were related to the Gina's in Market City. Bro, this is the OG Gina's!!
